The sanitary facilities are end-of-life (the only shower in the men's area is broken, as is the urinal), the immediate vicinity of the site is unattractive, and the site itself is characterized by a number of corrugated iron permanent campers. There... is a nice tent meadow with bench-table combinations. Friendly reception, who are very happy that you have found your way to them. At least it's close to town and there are some nice walks from the Ferrycroft Visitor Center (within walking distance, nice cafe).
