"Ok - Quite big camping area. So could be different experience depending where you stay. We had tent and located it far from sanitary building;) so had to walk quite long way. Otherwise the surroundings are beautiful. Sometimes the place feels too busy especially when ships arrive to the harbor

"Komfortabler Campingplatz - Nach Ankunft wurden wir freundlich empfangen und zu einem Stellplatz geführt. Wir hatten mehr als ausreichend Platz. Strom nahe beim Platz (Wasser etwa 150 Meter weg). Schöne Landschaft, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (auch für die großen Kreuzfahrschiffe) fußläufig. Bahnhof (für Ausflüge) in der Nähe. In der Hauptsaison werden faire 43€ für 2 Erwachsene und Womo (incl. Strom) verlangt.

"Schöner, sehr frequentierter Platz - Optisch sehr schöner Platz. Durch die Jugendherberge sehr stark frequentiert aber trotzdem sauber und gut organisiert. Eignet sich für Ausflüge aller Art.

"Still one of the best in Norway - Been here before - and still one of our absolute favorite campsites in Norway. Well organized site, VERY clean sanitary installations, VERY friendly personell, quite attractive pricing. But - best of all: The surrounding nature, and the constant "activity" - thereby I mean the coming and going of people to/from the train - people from every corner of the world, going to/from the hostel. Flåm itself has become quite "touristicated" - MANY busses transporting tourists to/from the train/tourboat, and VERY often the big cruiseliners unloading hundreds/thousands of passengers for the trainride. But still - Flåm is uniqe and must not be missed. And Flåm camping is a perfect spot for enjoying the location. The train and the tourboat only some hundred metres away - the Stegastein viewpoint - some 20 km away, and Bergen appr. 100 km away. As I said - been here before, and we definetely will be back !

"Sehr überfüllter Platz direkt in Flåm - Der Platz liegt direkt in Flåm, zu Fuß ist alles zu erreichen. Es besteht die Möglichkeit mit der Flåmbahn eine Bergfahrt zu machen oder eine Fjord Tour mit dem Boot. Leider legen auch in Flåm Kreuzfahrtschiffe an somit war das Dorf überfüllt. Auch der Campingplatz war sehr voll, Sanitäranlagen waren ausreichend und im guten zustand aber müssten bei der Personenzahl öfter gereinigt werden. War ok für eine Nacht, aber zum erholen nicht so Ideal.

"Toller Campingplatz für weitere Aktivitäten - Sehr freundliches Personal. Ideal für weitere Ausflüge wie Flam- Bahn, Fjordtouren, Aurlandsvegen, Nigardsbreen, Bergen usw. Alles gut zu Fuß, bzw. mit dem PKW zu erreichen. Sehr gepflegter CP.

When following E 16, head towards Flåm center. Turn left at the first crossing, and follow the river 500 or so meters. The driveway leading to Flåm Camping and Vandrarheim is located on the left side of the road. By …train, bus, or boat, you will cross the river on the west side of the station and ferry port area. Follow the road and the river for 150 meters, then Flåm Camping and Vandrarheim wil lbe on your right side.
