- Andreas S.July 2017PozitivnoLocationNegativnoNo music in the wash house ;-)On a peninsula near VarbergWell-visited campsite with an estimated 500 pitches. Paved pitches with adjoining lawns are available for motorhome day guests. We received a very friendly welcome in English and could choose from the remaining pitches. The sea is about 300 meters away. The coast is mainly rocky and only has a small... beach for swimming. However, it is ideal for dog owners who prefer short walks of up to 30 minutes. There is even a small beach where dogs are allowed to swim. Overall, the site is very quiet and despite the high season, it was dead quiet from 22:00. The pitches have no hedges and are of a normal size. The whole site makes a well-kept impression, even if the clean sanitary facilities are a bit outdated. A plastic card is provided for showering, but this must be topped up beforehand. WLAN costs SEK 40 per day. In the high season at the end of July, we paid SEK 300 for a mobile home including electricity and 2 people. (Dogs free of charge) We felt comfortable and would come again.Automatski prevedeno.
- Julia B.August 2016PozitivnoClose to the ferry, supermarket, playgroundNegativnosmall pitches, size of the pitch, showers once again extraLarge standard pitch near the ferry portDespite the high season, we spontaneously got a pitch here for 3 nights. There were many fully booked pitches in the area, but here we even had the choice of a few pitches that we were able to view in advance. The campsite is quite large, close to the sea (approx. 200 m on foot), but the bay is quite... small and the water a bit "soupy". So there are nicer beaches... The staff are very nice, washing machine and dryer cost 350 crowns together, 2 nice playgrounds available. There is a large supermarket on site - you can really find everything here, from sand toys and frozen food to a fresh salad bar and bakery. Great! The pitches vary in size, in the high season there were only 80m² of pitches left - so again you have breakfast on your neighbor's lap... Unfortunately, this is often the case here on large pitches... The wash houses were again "typically Swedish" ok - youth hostel style, kept simple. Showers again extra - 1 crown for 45 seconds... I generally find this very annoying and somehow outrageous, especially when the pitches are very expensive, like this one again. The campsite has a lot of seasonal pitches, here the permanent campers stand close together with their fenced-in pitches - well, if you like it. Washing up ok, but sink quite small - kitchen ok, microwave available, small stuffy baby changing room too. You can hire bikes from reception. The location is otherwise not soooo exciting. You can get to the water a bit, but as it is only a bay and there are rocks to the left and right, there are no long walks on the beach here. However, you can stroll a few meters through a very nice residential or vacation home area by the water, up a few hills - also quite nice. All in all, a good place, especially because it's not far from the ferry. Checking out early in the morning is no problem - barriers are open - you can throw the key from the electricity box into a letterbox. So it's a good place to stay for one, two or three nights.Automatski prevedeno.
