"O.K. for a stop - The campsite is beautifully situated, the sanitary facilities are clean and the SP is big enough for larger campers. The town is a 20-minute walk away, although it doesn't have much to offer. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Negative is the road noise from the highway bridge, but at night it is fine with the traffic. A good place if you want to make a stopover.

" - Heinola is a very nice little village with a campsite 1.5 km away on the Heinäsaari peninsula. Due to the busy 924 m long Heinolan-Tahti bridge over Lake Ruotsalainen, some road noise does penetrate the campsite. The san. The sanitary facilities in the main building are o.k., while they make a neglected impression in the San. house 2. The small beach with sunbathing lawn and barbecue area is also very nice. The midsummer sun in the sky at night is beautiful.

Heinola Camping Heinäsaari is a beautiful spot surrounded by a crystal clear lake within a walking distance from the centre of Heinola town. Cabins and other services are available by advance booking outside the summer season. Amenities include a cafe/restaurant …with a summer terrace, beach saunas, a swimming beach, minigolf and different sports and recreational equipment. Visitors are welcome to drop in at our marina and berth overnight. The nearby town of Heinola offers a range of facilities, including the market square with its tourist info and pavilion, restaurants, exhibitions, museums, and the Heinola Summer Theatre. The Kumpeli Spa Hotel is also nearby. The area is also home to the Vierumäki Sports Centre with its extensive facilities, including golf. At Heinäsaari, you have access to all this combined with affordable camping accommodation right in the heart of the town.
