"Very friendly staff, always courteous and helpful. - We visited the site in March and the necessary preparations for the coming camping season were in full swing. At our request, they took us into consideration at lunchtime, even though there were only three campers on the site.

"Unfortunately no more Albcard for campers - The campsite is well located, close to nature, clean and also great for children. But: Unfortunately, it has become a 2-class society. The Alb-Card is only included for those renting accommodation. No longer for normal campers. This is a great pity and unfortunately a reason for us not to go there any more. We find it too expensive without the card. Unfortunately, you also have to order breakfast in advance. Sanitary facilities are very far away from some places.

"Great CP - Great CP. You can really relax, small store, various animals to look at, ideal for hiking and cycling. Perfect for families with children. Not far from the nearest town (shopping). Barn was unfortunately not open due to the pandemic. would love to come back.

"A very special campsite - The originality, family-friendliness and location of this site have already been described several times. Some of the pitches are equipped with concrete floors. Visitors are delighted by the beautiful sanitary facilities, which are modern and spotlessly clean during our stay. The free internet worked well during our stay. Good location for excursions to Reutlingen or Bad Urach. Ideal for hiking or cycling. Parking the towing vehicle for caravans takes some getting used to, but we were able to live with it. We felt very comfortable on this site, so we can recommend it with a clear conscience.

"A somewhat different campsite - The campsite is located on the outskirts of Münsingen on a hill. Terraced pitches, some with a beautiful view over Münsingen and the hills of the Swabian Alps. Everything has a somewhat "alternative" touch. The site is popular with families with children. It is correspondingly lively during the day. Users of the various barbecue huts often create a certain amount of noise in the evenings. The site is a good starting point for hikers and cyclists on the Swabian Alps. Spacious pitches. Good sanitary facilities, spacious free showers. Small but expensive farm store with organic products. All in all, a beautiful and recommendable campsite. Not only suitable for families with children, but you shouldn't be too "quiet-seeking". It was always quiet at night.

"Very nice complex - but not for childless adults looking for peace and quiet! - This is how I would like all campsites to be: Close to nature, car-free and very well-kept. We spent a week in a cozy shepherd's wagon. The clean and modern sanitary facilities and the overall design of the site are great. However, it has to be said quite clearly that this campsite is primarily intended for families with children. Adults without children who want some peace and quiet should look for an alternative. In the mornings and evenings it was sometimes unbearably loud, so we were glad to have the protection of the shepherd's wagon.

In the midst of the heart of the Biosphere Region of the Swabian Mountains lies the Hopfenburg Estate which is unique in every aspect. The new holiday idyll in the Swabian Mountains rises up, surrounded by the juniper meadows of a nature reserve and the orchards of its own farm. With its unusual accommodation and its extraordinary range of leisure activities and seminars it offers you all the opportunities to escape from everyday life. Just for once have a completely different holiday: in a shepherd's caravan, a teepee tent, in a yurt or a circus caravan. We have thought up a few really great places to stay so that your next holiday is something really special. All are furnished with much love of detail and in parts are fully accessible for people with disabilities. Or bring your own caravan. Our Extra Service: catering and family baths For all those who also want to take a holiday away from the kitchen there is also the option of full board with regional fare and individual family baths for this unconventional accommodation. In addition we can offer you all sorts of excursions and adventures to the surrounding region. Accompanied if preferred by qualified guides, you can choose from walks over the gentle hills right up to horse riding in the wild or athletic cycle tours depending on your preference and capabilities. mit der Bahn: über Ulm/Schelklingen/Münsingen oder Stuttgart/Metzingen/Bad Urach. Von beiden Endbahnhöfen würden wir Sie abholen (Kostenbeitrag 25,00 Euro/ Fahrt). Bitte Ort und Ankunftszeiten rechtzeitig mit uns abstimmen. mit dem Rad: über den Radweg aus Münsingen, Einstieg ist von der Beutenlaystraße …gegenüber der Karl-Georg-Hadlenwang-Schule, oder über den Radweg vom ehem. Truppenübungsplatz entlang der L 230. mit dem Pferd: Da die Wege das Naturreservat Beutenlay mit dem Pferd nicht beritten werden durfen, bitten wir Sie, uns ausschließlich von Osten über die Brücke der B 465 anzureiten. Aber es geht auch mit dem Auto: Über die B 465 von Bad Urach über Seeburg nach Münsingen. Der B 465 durch Münsingen folgen bis Ortsausgang. Im Kreisverkehr geradeaus (2. Ausfahrt), nach ca. 400 m links zum Hofgut Hopfenburg abbiegen. Sie kommen von der A 8, Abfahrt Merklingen, und folgen der L1 230 und L 230 nach Münsingen (neue Umgehungsstraße um Auingen ist noch nicht auf allen Navigationsgeräten verfügbar). Nur Mut, einfach dem Straßenverlauf folgen und ca. 20 Meter vor der T-Kreuzung zur B 465 biegen Sie links zum Hofgut Hopfenburg ab. Bitte folgen Sie in beiden Fällen der Beschilderung.
