The campsite has a pet-free area, which was very pleasant for us. The pitches are generously sized and the... sanitary facilities were always very clean. The overall impression was very tidy. There is an outdoor pool with a beautiful sunbathing lawn right next to the campsite. From here you can go on many beautiful hikes and bike tours. There are also various other beautiful excursions on offer. Wonderful campsite and beautiful area. We would love to come back!Automatski prevedeno.

But why is this dog-free part of the site here on the road? So you have the choice between plague and cholera.
For us it would be nicer if the dog-free part of the campsite was also in a quiet corner. Then you would... really get something out of it. By the way, we have nothing against dogs, but unfortunately their upbringing sometimes leaves something to be desired and that is not the dogs' fault.

The site is well-kept and clean. The staff are very friendly. There is a small store (integrated into the registration) where you can buy bread rolls in the morning. Unfortunately there is no restaurant. The information you... get on an information sheet is also a bit poor. For example, you don't get any information about where the waste collection point is, let alone how the waste is separated. Also no longer up to date: WLAN for a fee.
The sanitary facilities in the large wash house are very clean, but should be renovated at some point. Charm from the 80/90s.Automatski prevedeno.- Sabine F.August 2022PozitivnoBeautiful large pitches with trees, well maintained grounds, swimming pool next door great, bread rolls and cakes without pre-ordering, nice staff, Ihringen only about 2 km away and there you can easily buy everything you needNegativnoNoneA campsite as you could wish for.The place totally convinced us, we were able to choose a place on site (there were 5 to choose from. We knew that the electricity connection was a bit further away and it's not unusual, there aren't many water points either, but honestly what's the point of walking a few meters, it's camping! This is... compensated for by the pleasant atmosphere, the well-kept grounds and the direct access to the swimming pool. The small store is well stocked and I think the bread rolls without pre-ordering are great.
The large sanitary building is a bit outdated but it was always clean. Then I discovered the new one in the reception building and that is the best, the relaxation room is also a great idea.

The first impression was good, the service was friendly and the handling uncomplicated, the site well maintained. However, over the course of our stay, the first impression became increasingly clouded. The water tap was quite far away,... the terrace was closed despite the sunshine and temperatures close to 20°C and the showers were sometimes unusable as only cold water was available. The whole sanitary building is a bit outdated and no longer up to date. WLAN costs extra. The nearby roads could always be heard as background noise. On departure we mentioned the issue of cold showers and were only told with a shrug of the shoulders that the heating was defective and they only had a temporary solution available, but that the damage would be repaired over the winter. We then had to pay almost € 40.00 per night for two people in the off-season, which was outrageous. Definitely not again.Automatski prevedeno.

Train connections to Breisach and Freiburg every half hour from the Ihringen train station, approx. 2 km away. Many cycling tours / hikes on flat terrain or somewhat more mountainous (Kaiserstuhl... / Tuniberg) possible. Some attractive restaurants, wine taverns and farm stores are available in Ihringen and the surrounding area.
Unfortunately, air-impermeable awning tarpaulins or carpets may also be used on this campsite. The meadow pitches look correspondingly modest, especially in rainy weather. So far, this has only been prohibited on very few campsites, for example CP Elbeling.
It is also a pity that the restaurant in the reception building cannot be offered due to a lack of staff.

Even in Corona times the sanitary facilities are spotlessly clean, you simply feel at home. A cyclist's paradise, something for everyone. Kaiserstuhl tour with many culinary stops possible. Courteous and very friendly staff, made us feel welcome on arrival. Large pitches separated by hedges. We will definitely be back, keep it up👍NegativnoWe couldn't find any disadvantages for ourselves, and there are certainly one or two people who have something to complain about. But here it is nagging at a high level and those who are not in tune themselves will always find something...TOP camping for relaxing and cyclingWe can only recommend the CP, a true paradise, whether for hiking, cycling or sightseeing tours to Colmar, Basel or Freiburg. Culinary delights are also available at the Kaiserstuhl, and a glass of wine in front of the camper for a pleasant end to the day - what more could you want? We were amazed that the campsite was still so busy at the end of September. It was our first time here and we received a very friendly welcome at reception and everything was explained to us. We were also given a free bus and train ticket, which is included... in the price and free of charge. We thought the S-Bahn would take 15 minutes to Freiburg, but unfortunately the line is closed due to roadworks. But the bus also works with a slightly longer journey time. The cycle paths are also ideal, with something for everyone. The sanitary facilities in the center are not the newest, but very clean. There is another toilet block in the main building, which blew us away. We have never seen such a wash house better than in some 4 star hotels. Conclusion, we will definitely come back. When the campers in front of us asked for the Konuscard at registration, they were told that this would only be issued at the camper's request. Many campers would not even want the card. On arrival, we... were able to choose a pitch in the rear area. There are only very few water connections and some of them are somewhat hidden. The main sanitary block is a bit older, but is cleaned regularly and well. The anteroom in the showers is very small. As the campsite was very busy, the men's toilets were sometimes a bit cramped. We went on some nice hikes that started 1.4 km away in Ihringen. The payment of the CP is only possible with cash.Automatski prevedeno.

Markus S.August 2019PozitivnoKaiserstuhl and surroundingsNegativnoClayey, slippery ground in front of the WW entranceSolid campsiteWhen we arrived, we first had to wait in front of the barrier. The site is closed for lunch from 12.30-14.30 and it is not possible to drive in or out. The reception is also closed during this time. As we had not booked for the planned 3 nights, we were able to choose a free pitch. The pitch consisted... of a spacious meadow, which was bordered by a hedge at the back. There was no boundary to the side. Unfortunately, the grassless area (due to awning carpets???) was right in front of the door. Due to the rainfall before our arrival, this cohesive ground was greasy and stuck nicely to our shoes and everything that came into contact with it. The power supply came from a switch cabinet with about 8 connections. The pitches furthest away from the cabinet needed quite a long cable. There was no fresh water in the immediate vicinity of the pitches and you had to fetch it from the wash house. The central wash house is not a temple of luxury and is noticeably black in some places, but it was always very clean. The site is a good starting point for the typical Kaiserstuhl activities. Freiburg is also within easy reach and well worth a visit. We can recommend the ice cream factory in Endingen. The raspberry ice cream with semolina is simply delicious. And if you want to experience a selection of garden herbs, the Friderich nursery in Sasbach is the place to go. The outdoor pool right next to the campsite can be used free of charge with the guest card. However, you are not allowed to wear swimming shorts in the water. And we don't have any of those granny-grandpa Lycra swimming trunks. What a shame. This commentary is purely my personal impressions and opinion.Automatski prevedeno.
