Tanja S.September 2024PozitivnoWe booked spontaneously online and were warmly welcomed and the location of the site in the middle of the city is perfect if you want to explore Merano. The pitches are okay in terms of size and are allocated. There are plenty of washrooms. They are well equipped and always very clean. I liked the fact that the heated outdoor pool and the sauna are included.NegativnoThe price is already at a very high level. What bothered me was that the turf on the pitches with sprinklers can only be used to a limited extent.City campingThere's actually nothing to complain about here, although we didn't really feel comfortable. Most of the campers were sitting in their large motorhomes, there were very few outside. Only one caravan was to be found, there were no tents at all.

It's surprisingly quiet, apart from the tennis court right next door. Everything seems to be new and is kept in excellent condition by the friendly staff.
We were particularly impressed by the great sanitary facilities, which consist exclusively of individual... bathrooms with toilet, washbasin and rain shower. The free W LAN also worked well.
The pool and sauna could be used free of charge.
There is a bar on site for a nice end to the evening.

The proximity to the beautiful city center can only be found in a few places in Europe. This city of Merano is simply beautiful.
The campsite is run by a really great team, the staff are excellently organized and take care of all... small and large problems quickly and easily. The atmosphere on the campsite is almost family-like.
The sanitary facilities, heated swimming pool, sauna and small bar are second to none, simply wonderful.
Cleanliness and tidiness are very good, if it weren't for the sometimes untidy campers.
We have already booked again for next year,
because it is simply beautiful.

Live Merano CampingAutomatski prevedeno. - Elke W.September 2020PozitivnoI liked the large space and that everything was within walking distance. The sanitary facilities are new and very luxurious. There are 24 bathrooms with toilet, shower, washbasin and mirror. The staff are very friendly and courteous. There is an incredible attention to cleanliness. Bakeries and small supermarkets in the immediate vicinity.NegativnoThe price is very high. There is still room for improvement. In the early morning there is congestion at the sanitary facilities, as 24 bathrooms is actually too few for over 90 places. The lighting in the bathroom is poor if you want to apply make-up or shave. The exit with the car is annoying because you always need a card for the barrier at the reception.Camping in the middle of the city of MeranoAll in all, we were very happy at the campsite in Merano. The staff are incredibly friendly and courteous. The pitches are large and you have everything you need on site. The bathrooms are comfortable and extremely clean. You can have breakfast there and there is a bread roll service. However, you pay... a flat rate of 60 euros per day for 2 people.
It's easy to get to the town and the thermal baths. There is a launderette, several bakeries, supermarkets and restaurants in the immediate vicinity.Automatski prevedeno.
