"Toller Platz am See - Wir waren auf einer Rundreise für eine Nacht da. Die Anreise ist etwas abenteuerlich, die Straßen teilweise sehr eng. Die Straßen sind teilweise einspurig mit Ausweichstellen. Man sollte sich unbedingt an die Zufahrtsbeschilderung halten. Unser Navi wollte uns durch noch abenteuerlichere Straßen schicken. Platz direkt am See, super toll gelegen. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, Platz konnte man sich frei aussuchen (es war Nebensaison). Es gibt einen unteren Bereich und einen auf einer kleinen anhöhe mit noch besserem Blick. Plätze in der ersten Reihe mit Ausblick kosten 2 Pfund extra. Dafür Stromsäule mit Wasser und Abwasseranschluß am Platz. Sanitäranlage sind super. Modern und sauber. Top! Duschen inclusiv. Die Plätze sind geschottert wie auf den Bilder erkennbar. Keine Bäume, daher Sat-Empfang sehr gut. Wlan nur im oder direkt am Rezeptionsgebäude. Doggywalk außerhalb vom Gelände am See entlang. Sehr schön gelegen. An einem Ende des Platzes im oberen Bereich ist ein kleiner Spielplatz.

"Schön gelegen, aber teuer - wir waren am 17.07.2018 am Platz, dieser ist in punkto Sanitäranlagen absolut in Ordnung, es befinden sich nicht an jedem Platz Strom- und Wasseranschlüsse, so dass man schon lange Schläuche braucht, WiFi ist nur im Rezeptionsbereich verfügbar (da aber kostenlos). Alles in allem ist der Platz viel zu teuer (38,40 GBP für 2 erwachsene und einen hund im Motorhome).

"Nessie nicht geortet - Zwar ist der Weg auf der Single Track Route etwas spannend, aber Schottlandfahrer kennen das. Dann wird man freundlich auf einem Platz unmittelbar am See empfangen. Großzügig parzelliert , WLAN im Empfangsgebäude frei und Sauberkeit im Sanitargebäude sind selbstverständlich. Bootausleihe unmittelbar am Platz möglich.

"toller, aber sehr teurer Platz - ein toller, komplett neuer aber auch sehr teurer Platz. (Wir haben für einen Stellplatz und 2 Erwachsene + 2Kinder über 40 Pfund bezahlt). Die sanitären Einrichtungen waren neu und top sauber. Leider hat man direkt vom Platz kaum eine Sicht auf den See (Bäume verdecken die Sicht), aber man ist innerhalb von 2 Minuten am Ufer. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich. Die Anfahrt ist für ein Wohnmobilgespann über die Serpentinen schon recht eng (12m Länge ging aber noch gut)

"Loch Ness - Camping at a really nice place, new and comfortably furnished, friendly staff, well-stocked shop. Be sure to come back for a longer period of time.

Located on the south shores of Loch Ness, this site is the perfect location if you are planning to explore the Highlands. There is something for everyone - whether you want to relax or you are looking for an active …break. The scenery and wildlife won't fail to impress. The area has an abundance of paths to explore and the outdoor activities available on site include archery, wildlife walks, den building, motor boat and kayak hire. The site is open all year round and offers 99 pitches with a mixture of grass and hard-standing.
