A railroad line runs on the other side of the Main; the noise level is quite high, especially when goods are being transported.Place directly on the Main / Main cycle pathWe stayed at the campsite for two nights just passing through.
The site operators are very friendly.
The reception was already closed when we arrived. However, we were able to arrange a change of pitch by telephone without any problems, as our power cable was not sufficient to connect it to the socket... provided.
The toilets on the pitch itself are basic but clean. The other sanitary facilities are in urgent need of renovation; showers are available in a container (no drinking water here). The responsibility for this state of affairs does not lie with the operators, but with the responsible building authority, which has probably been delaying approval for the renovation of the site for a long time.
The site is otherwise clean and well maintained. Next door is the public swimming pool, which can be used free of charge by camping guests.
The Main cycle path runs directly alongside the site. Super nice operators. Beautiful location right on the Main. We had a water pitch and therefore had beautiful things to watch all day.
On Saturday we had homemade plum cake which was delicious.
Totally fair prices and helpful with all questions.
SUPs and kayaks can be hired here.
