"Lovely weekend with our dogs right by the river! - Nice, spontaneous short vacation directly on the Danube, we found our way there straight away (you drive right past it) and despite the weekend we even got a place on the water and were warmly welcomed, we had our two dogs with us and got lots of tips for hikes in the area. Our highlight was the nearby Wachau, where we walked through the vineyards and got a great recommendation for a wine tavern!

"Mixed Feelings - Were there for 1 night (bike tour); the adjacent main road invites you to speed through, the Danube on the other side is quiet, but upstream freighters are noisy at a snail's pace and on the other bank of the Danube the train provides a corresponding noise level; very unfortunate, but the good location is also the biggest weak point; Campsites could use more power connections (eBikes), we were lucky to stand next to a caravan site and thus had a column; otherwise everything was actually ok for our claim
