The place is just way too expensive!!! I paid €50 per night with my campervan alone. Do I want WLAN for longer than 30 minutes? Another 5€ extra. The site is far too big for me personally and was therefore usually very noisy. The distances to the paramedics can be a bit long. Especially when they are cleaning between 9 and 10 in the morning and the next house is just completely closed. The fact that you can only pay any amount, no matter how small, with an EC card also kind of annoys me. The food in the bistro on site is mediocre to bad.
I certainly won't be coming back!
Well, there's not much more to write about. The bike tours in the area were rather mediocre...
There are few restaurants in the immediate vicinity (on foot or a short bike ride is not possible).

We arrived at the campsite around 11.00 pm and were told by phone that I could come to the campsite at any time. Then a person came out of the dark and scolded us for the noise we were making and that the barrier wouldn't open again until 7.00 a.m. We should sleep outside. Which we did. At 7.15 I drove... through the barrier and was the first to put the boat in the water when we were ready, the phone rang and the reception was on the phone and asked me why I had put the boat in the water so early, everyone was still asleep and I would wake them up with my noise, then they told me to leave the campsite immediately. Something so unfriendly has never happened to me before and we have been going to different campsites for years. We ended up staying at the neighboring campsite, which, as it turned out, should have been our first choice. The people there were much friendlier and served us before opening hours. Unfortunately I can't give any details about the site as I was allowed to stay for too short a time

We won't be back. The price-performance ratio is simply not right. Long distances - whether to the sanitary facilities, to get bread rolls or to dispose of gray and waste water. We were on the "terrace". Higher up and further away from the lake. We couldn't see it from our pitch. Great ground (grass) but it was a long way to the water. Very rough terrain in places. It's a good thing I didn't have to tow a boat. Insufficient lighting, you can't walk to the toilet facilities at night without a flashlight. The cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired and there are only 2 sanitary blocks for this huge site. No proper bathing beaches. And when there was a reasonable entrance to the lake, it was unfortunately full of goose shit.... So nothing where you would want to lie down. I also didn't see a single garbage can on my walks down by the water. Now that I think about it, there wasn't one "public" garbage can on the whole site. So throwing away a handkerchief on the way was not an option. You can only pay by card on the site. Another nonsense. Unfortunately, the prices in the mini store were also far too high. But the worst thing was that we were told in the morning "yes, your girlfriend can come as a guest" and in the evening, when she was there, they didn't want to know anything more about it and didn't let her on the pitch. We were made to look as if we had sucked the morning conversation out of our sleeves. We had to walk from our pitch to reception because nobody answered the phone there. Why? Not in the mood? In any case, there were some on site. So conclusion - no coming back.

TOP campsite in a very quiet location!!!
First of all, a TOP TOP TOP for the operators of Naturcamping Zwei Seen!!! We actually only wanted to stay 5 nights, but after the 2nd day we decided without much hesitation: we'll add another 7 to the 5! :-) The first two weeks of September were characterized by 27-30°C and sunshine. So we did everything... right. The site was in no way inferior to the dream weather. Very spacious pitches, we had pitch #3 (highly recommended!) directly on the water 1st row. Unfortunately, there is no water on the pitch and it's a bit of a walk to the waste water/chemical toilet. The wash houses are very well maintained and showers cost nothing extra. The tiresome subject of WLAN...you have to address it. Reception is not everywhere on the site but you get the possibility of WLAN access from the very nice staff (if there is reception on the site). But why do you have to pay extra for WLAN everywhere (not just on this site)?
Bread roll service, shopping facilities, boat hire...everything available.
All in all, we felt very comfortable here and give it a definite recommendation!!!!

We stayed at the campsite for three nights. Admittedly, it was the end of the season and therefore nothing was going on. We only rarely met other campers. A nice place in itself - neat, tidy and the proximity to the water is unbeatable. The staff (as far as we could tell, as we only met a few... of them) were also friendly.
However, there are also points of criticism.
The place is super dark in the evening. There is not a single lamp, especially down by the lake. As a hiking/cycling trail passes by there, you are also not in a "closed area". Although I was told on the phone that the sanitary blocks were open, the one closest to us was already in hibernation and locked. Only the sinks were accessible. So we either had to go to the main building (but there are only toilets and washbasins there, no showers) or to the sanitary block at the other end of the site in complete darkness. A few individual permanent campers have set up one or two spotlights on their pitches, but that's it.
As a woman, you get weak knees. Especially when you know that at least one fox lives on the pitch and comes very close to people.
The sanitary building itself is actually designed so that the entrance/exit for the men faces the "street" and the one for the women is at the back of the building in the dark. The building itself is certainly illuminated, even on the outside, but only there.
Then there is the fact that the showers are not clean. By that I mean the floors and the many, many cobwebs and spiders.
All in all, this picture was the same - there are also an incredible number of spiders in the washrooms. The cobwebs didn't appear in a few days either, they are older. The washbasins themselves are simply not clean.
The sanitary building at the main entrance is an exception to the cleanliness issue - it was always clean.

And there it is again, the question of evaluation. When have you been to the site, what are your expectations, what is camping for you and what level of comfort do you expect?
We had a pitch in the front row, right by the lake.
The sanitary facilities were in good, clean condition.
The paths were natural... and bumpy, just nature and not for glamping campers, but unfortunately also not for people who have difficulty walking or are dependent on a walking aid. So inform yourself beforehand and don't complain afterwards. We were only on the site for a short time, but we felt very comfortable. The staff were friendly and approachable. We can well imagine staying here again.

The location is great, the Plauer See is very beautiful, but it remains shallow for a long time and is therefore not very suitable for swimming. When it gets deep, you are really far out ...

We didn't have a pitch in the first row, but in the third, which gave us the impression of an amazing amount... of peace and seclusion. Nevertheless, it was only a stone's throw from the lake - and the trees provided pleasant partial shade at almost all times of the day. Night-time peace and closing times for the barrier make the site ideal for families, it is very quiet from 10 p.m. onwards and really wonderfully quiet at night.

The staff are very friendly and professional and everything is perfectly organized.

The sanitary facilities were adequate and clean enough, but the ventilation didn't work very well, which meant that unpleasant odors lingered for a long time - especially in the first sanitary block at the reception. As far as I'm concerned, the cabins could be cleaned twice a day ;)

The small bistro is not exactly cheap, but it is clean and well-kept.

A few more (or better labeled?) drinking water taps would be great.

Overall, I have a very positive impression! Many thanks to the friendly team.

Not for the faint of foot! The sanitary facilities are steeply uphill in places and there are long distances. Long queues in front of the wash houses and wash basins, and there are simply not enough places for chemical toilet disposal.
In the evenings it would be good to have a groundsman who asks guests... to be quieter and turn down the music from 10 or 11 p.m.; that way you avoid conflicts with each other. With smaller caravans, you should make sure in advance that you get a pitch in the front row, because the tenants don't give much thought to the allocation of pitches - we were dwarfed by some moving detached houses :-) Yes, the "liners" also get lost on this pitch - they block your view and robbed our neighbors of their TV reception. Cleanliness is also handled rather theoretically - clever tips on how to wash your hands properly hang above the basin, but empty soap dispensers...
"Glamping" can only be found in theory in the advertising brochure...we searched in vain for glamor... .... But some employees retained the luxury of arrogance; the snippy aunt ruined your day in the morning when you went to get the bread rolls... exhausting...

We spent a relaxing and enjoyable weekend as a couple at this beautiful place and enjoyed the direct lake view, long walks, a canoe and bike tour and standup paddling at sunset - all wow and beautiful.
The team is exceptionally friendly and relaxed, yet professional, from the booking to the personal... farewell.
The wash houses are generously sized, always clean and those who take an anti-cyclical shower have a free choice of cabins. You can shower for as long as you like, with charged chips.
The shop and restaurant at Naturcamping Zwei Seen have been newly designed and opened and are unexpectedly modern, contemporary and high quality for a nature campsite. As tenants of a cozy lakeside barrel right on the shore, we were able to enjoy the new, very stylishly furnished market bistro, which has a large service counter with self-service and completely cashless payment, but ordered dishes are served at the table by friendly young staff. In the morning, we treated ourselves to a delicious and beautifully presented breakfast on the sun terrace (pancakes with maple syrup and berries, vegan morning with spreads from Zwergenwiese and Rapunzel and white sausages with pretzels for the meat eaters among us, everything is also available to-go in the reusable bowl), cakes in the afternoon, each with a flat white and Americano made from beans from Berliner Kaffeerösterei, and in the evening - to take away and eat on our own sunset terrace - probably the best stone-oven pizza we have eaten. We felt well looked after away from the usual camping snacks - and would love to come back!

The quiet, natural location away from major roads and directly on the lake.

Difficult communication before and after the stay, everything only via email, nobody to reach by phone, no apology or even compensation after a billing error and complaint about a dirty pitch. Reception opening hours too short, therefore sometimes long waiting times. Sanitary facilities were only cleaned once a day despite the high season, toilet paper was often missing or the toilets were very dirty. There was also an obvious mold infestation in the side showers (joints) and a foul-smelling stench from the drain. Overall, the place seemed quite unkempt, often garbage was lying around for more than 10 days and on departure of the guests the places were not inspected or cleaned. Only card payment possible. Partly very rough terrain due to defective wooden stairs on steep paths, defective seating, lack of lighting, investment backlog. Hardly any fire extinguishers available. Only 2 washing machines and a dryer are available. This is far too little in the high season. Significantly inflated prices at the boat rental. No additional offers for children, entertainment etc. In an emergency, there is no defibrillator for resuscitation measures. The journey for the ambulance is long and therefore a defibrillator on site would be absolutely necessary.
Quiet location, great sunsets
Unfortunately, the quiet, natural location by the lake and the fantastic sunsets do not make up for the numerous disadvantages.

No goodwill despite Coronalage!
Very unprofessional communication
No response to email cancellation due to long unclear dates on the camping/accommodation ban in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (was unexpectedly lifted early by the state government despite previous announcement to the contrary), no response even when asked. Reservation fee (75%) is retained in full. At least a voucher would be appropriate in this situation and was also requested by me, but no response.

Camping in Corona times
When we arrived, the sanitary building, which was within walking distance for us, was open, on Sunday the 4th of October it was closed! A sign was put up because of some kind of defect! But the very rude cleaning lady told us: it will be closed now! End of season.....now there was still a sanitary house... open, with 2 showers each!!!! So much for Corona! Furthermore, our friends could only go to the toilet by car because they are both not so good on foot!!!! On this way they kindly took me and the cassette toilet from our camper van with them, as there is only one (!) place to empty it!!!! For me as a woman 10-15 kilos to carry.....SUPER!
Then you should also make it clear from the outset that the kiosk will be closed from October and there will be no possibility of getting a breakfast roll!!!!
Now back to the showers:
As I had NOT looked at the showers in advance, I still had wallets etc. with me, no matter which CP I've been to so far, you ALWAYS had a shower with a small anteroom to lock up!!!! You could hang up your towel, bag, etc. there, which is unfortunately also missing here.
We are NOT spoiled, we are also traveling on pitches, but if I then take more money in my hand for a 5-star place, then I expect significantly more!
And I know it -so far- from a few pitches that I have to pay for the pitch and also pay extra for the awning, which is on my already paid pitch...
Last but not least, the arrival:
Yes, the arrival was very interesting.... as everything was parked up, we were standing in the driveway (just arrived!) when the employee (?) just jumps out of the car "Fire lane, drive away immediately, otherwise I'll call the police!"
Okay, we were standing stupidly, it's also right to say something, no question!!! BUT NOT IN THIS TONE!

We stayed at this campsite for 2 weeks and really enjoyed it. We were warmly welcomed and we were allowed to choose a pitch.
Every evening we had a fantastic sunset right outside the caravan door. The lake was super clean.
Unfortunately, we can't write anything about the restaurant. The restaurant was... being renovated and won't open until next year.
The sanitary facilities were also clean and there were disinfectant dispensers in the sanitary building.
It was best to order bread rolls in advance at the snack bar.

We opted for a pitch right by the water, so we knew beforehand that it was a long way to the sanitary facilities. Not a disadvantage of the pitch, as it was our decision :).
Nature and tranquillity guaranteed :)!
Where do we start? The campsite is ideally located right on the water and offers a lot of peace and quiet. We had an M pitch right on the dog beach :). The site is the ideal starting point for long cycle tours. We cycled to Malchow once a day (25km a day) and bought our supplies there. Cycling around... Lake Plau was amazing, we did it twice :). If you cycle a little to the south, you'll find the most secluded bathing spots. The cycle path network is second to none, for me it is perfectly developed. You can easily cycle as far as Waren or Röbel. The site offers sufficient sanitary facilities and washing-up facilities. It is wonderfully laid out in terraces :). We would love to come back :). The bear park and the toboggan run with monkey forest are also within easy reach. You can hire boats and go as far as Waren :).

Summer vacation in MP
Reception was friendly but unfortunately not very flexible in terms of time. Our pitch section was very nice with a direct lake view. Due to Corona restrictions fewer sanitary facilities available. Unfortunately, very little cleaning was done even though the pitch was full. In places 2-3 days dirty outdoor sinks. Maintenance of the overall facility satisfactory, inn closed due to renovation (have not seen anything).

Lake pitches have a long way to the toilet
One of the most beautiful spots in MV
The site is easy to navigate for children: path to the sanitary facilities, playground, store, etc. The pitches near the lake offer a view of the water from almost every pitch, and the front row is of course particularly great.

The sanitary facilities are large enough and very clean. Despite the restrictions... on people, there is never really any need to wait. When showering, you should perhaps stay a little outside the "normal times".

Most of the pitches are well grassed. As the site itself says, you should have a flashlight with you for night-time visits to the toilets. The site is only partially lit. However, this makes stargazing in the evening an unparalleled natural spectacle.

The toilets are just a few minutes' walk from the lakeside pitches and can be reached via a driveway or stairs.

Wifi is available via hotspots, 30 minutes a day are free, if you need more you can get tickets for 24h/3 days/7 days, which only work with one device at a time, but are transferable.
Not all of the space is covered, but 12 spots offer the option. If possible, this will be taken into account when making a reservation.

You should plan 20 meters of cable for the power connection.

The pitches themselves are pleasantly large and the distance to the next pitch is not too close.

Conclusion for us: We would like to come back because we feel comfortable and welcome here. One plus point for the future would be a wash house for the pitches by the water so that people without their own toilet don't have to walk so far. But that would be complaining on a very high level.

Many thanks to the operators for such a beautiful spot and the relaxing days.

Safari tent and sleeping barrel directly on the lake, a paradise for those seeking peace and quiet
Beautifully maintained complex with a very long sandy beach directly on Lake Plau. Access to clean water everywhere. Very nice, uncomplicated, friendly and confident staff who greet you with a relaxed and eloquent manner that you wouldn't expect on a campsite. Wonderfully individual accommodation, we... stayed in a sleeping barrel for two in the spring and in a safari tent with our two nieces in September and felt very comfortable each time. Great facilities, very clean wash houses, lots of little details that make a difference (hairdryer, make-up mirror, free freezer, private cooling compartments.) Highly recommended!
