"beautiful campsite - We were at the campsite in July 2014. mixed guests. Some campers from the Netherlands and Norway and a few Germans. the permanent campers are spread around the site and are mostly very nice. very very friendly operators. Family business. Free pancake baking over the fireplace for the kids. Once the operators came across the site with a basket full of goodies. That was great. Lots of space. Everything was clean and tidy. Takeaway pizza right at the front of the street. Also really affordable for lunch. Bakery about 300 meters. Very good. Supermarkets available in the village. And there was also a bike store right in front. You can certainly rent bikes there. You can explore the Omme by canoe through the owner. He takes you upstream in a canoe and then you cycle back down the Omme to the campsite. It wasn't cheap but very practical and comfortable. We also took a nice bike ride to the neighboring village. The place itself is not particularly beautiful. The access road put us off a bit at first. Once we arrived at the campsite, everything was fine. Not far from Legoland. Apart from that, we didn't know what to do with our time afterwards. But anyone who wants to visit this region should definitely stop here. You feel very welcome. We had a reservation but despite the high season, there was always somewhere free.

Omme Å Camping is centrally situated in the heart of Jutland close to two of Denmark's greatest tourist attractions: Legoland and Givskud Zoo. On top of this, it's approximately a one-hour drive from the coast. Several of Jutland's biggest cities …can be reached by car in less than an hour. The campsite is situated in Sdr. Omme village iwith only a few minutes' walk from the centre, where you'll find several shops. The campsite borders Omme Å with free access to the moor, woods and meadow. Therefore, the site is ideal for families and nature lovers. Omme Å Camping is a lovely site with all modern facilities.You can fish in the Omme Å. We sell fishingpermits with discount in our reception. Nearby, you'll find other good places to fish: Skjern Å, Grindsted Å and Ansager Å. You'll also have the opportunity to do some "Put-and-take" fishing because there are several lakes within a distance of 10 km.

Driving instructions Drive along main road 28 into Sdr. Omme. The campsite is situated in the western part of the village, only 100 m from the main road of the village (main road 28). From Germany, follow motorway E45 to …Kolding and turn off (nr. 64) towards Esbjerg on E20. After approx. 10 km, turn towards Grindsted (mainroad 469). After the town Hejnsvig, turn right at the T-junction onto mainroad 28. In Sdr. Omme you reach another T-junction, turn left (still mainroad 28) and drive 500 m, the campsite will appear on your left side.
