Just a horrible experience.An unfortunate, expensive mistakeI booked online from Australia for a week and it was so horrible that, despite being told that I could not have ANY refund AT ALL, I decided to move on and pay for another place. If you know how careful I am with my money, then you would be astounded at this decision. However, the single night I stayed... in the accommodation here was the most uncomfortable experience I can recall in 40 years of travel. I must say however, that the campsite seemed pretty, but heaven help you if you need to buy any supplies from the common room - the prices made me laugh. The self-contained accommodation where I was, was EXTREMELY basic - almost third world and there was no escape from the heat and insects during the evening - so a good night sleep was impossible - even if the mattress been any good quality - which it wasn't.

There isn't much space between the tents/cars and there is little privacy. More was expected of a rural park. There is no surveillance at night, and cars are allowed to enter and exit, make noise, sing and have bonfires/cookouts at all hours of the day and night. - Hans d.July 2013Prettige camping met prettige eigenaren. Staan voor je klaar met idee en suggestie. Good starting point to discover the area. Watersports on the beach. Walking in the area. Cultuur in Tomar. Beschikt over recreatieruimte. Bread service. Winkels, market and restaurants in dorp op 2 km afstand. Small zwembad, maar is wel voldoende. Shaduw is beperkt aanwezig.
