"Orbitur Angeiras - Nice park for families with lots of activities for the kids and at weekends mute and karoke. The average price of a meal in the restaurant is 8€.

"better camping,friendly - good campground,center and sea is a bit downhill,small center with necessary bars and restaurants,bus No. 104 every half hour at the door,1.80€ for porto,1 hour drive,stay seated until eindhalt,this is central in old center.Best take the bus to porto,with the car you get nowhere.sanitary block is not heated in winter,good free wiffi.

"At the gates of Porto - The pitches could be bigger, the sanitary facilities show their age. The pool was unfortunately already closed despite temperatures of over 25 degrees. The beach is only 700 m away but Porto is 20 km away or about an hour by bus.

"Never again - Coming from Spain, there is only a paved mogul road for 6 kilometers, where the vehicle is really shaken up. Unfortunately, I realized too late that I had been here before. You are greeted by friendly ladies who also speak good English. This makes it all the more incomprehensible that the next morning a lady is put in charge who doesn't speak a word of English and can't answer the simplest question. The sanitary facilities are fine. But unfortunately, missing or broken hooks are not replaced here either, especially as there are only a few anyway. Cleaning is a little superficial. The same old story in the restaurant: incompetent staff across the board, who seem to get by without speaking any foreign languages. Years ago I waited 45 minutes for a dish here, only to be told that it was out. The guest still seems to be of secondary importance. The waiter doesn't respond to shouts at all, even though he only sets tables in an otherwise empty room. Only a colleague in the doorway points his finger at me, which then leads to a reaction. He only understood my order of "Sprite or Orange Juice" the third time. My question about "code" or "password" confuses him. After a lot of gestures and hand signals, he tells me; but as it is incomprehensible, I ask him to write it down; he does so, but unfortunately incorrectly. When paying, a waiter tells me the amount without turning to me. He also leaves my bill behind and prefers to continue pouring his glasses. Only when I say "sir" does he turn to me in an unfriendly manner. WLAN only in the restaurant area is a disgrace in the 21st century. Too bad about the space, too bad about the restaurant. The soccer fans had little to gain from the television, which was far too small and positioned high up, tilted diagonally backwards. However, there is a secluded TV room equipped with a 30cm (!) screen. Leaving the site without using a mogul slope is only possible if you take bus 104 to Porto. Porto is, as stated in another review, not 8 km away, but 20 km! Clearly only amateurs are at work here. Never again!

"Beautiful place close to Porto incl. sea view - The site is located about 5' from the beach on a small hill, so you have a wonderful view of the sea from many pitches. Many pitches are under trees and we were able to choose our own pitch from around 100. The sanitary facilities are probably about 5-6 years old, very well maintained and clean. Nice clean pool with separate paddling pool. The restaurant also offers take-away menus. Unfortunately we caught a windy weather phase and therefore left after 2 nights. However, we felt very comfortable at the campsite.

"Beautiful campsite - We spent three nights here. The campsites are located under large trees that provide plenty of shade throughout the day. From our pitch you could see as far as the sea, a very beautiful sunset. The sanitary facilities are perfectly fine. You can be in Porto in 40 minutes by bus, which stops right outside the front door. The beach is less than 5 minutes away on foot. There is a very nice jogging track along the entire coast. The campsite has a small supermarket where you can buy the essentials. For sports enthusiasts there is a basketball court, volleyball and tennis.

Profil

Angeiras campsite is located 16 km from Porto, opposite the beautiful beach of a fishing village in the north of Portugal. People from Porto tend to visit it on days off and during the weekends. In natural surroundings, with numerous …big trees, it has very well-equipped facilities, a mini-market, restaurant and bar – both with a fireplace -, a beautiful terrace with views over the swimming pool, which is free for users of the area. We would recommend a visit to Porto, which boasts the Palácio da Bolsa, the Fundação de Serralves, the whole of the historical Ribeira area, on the banks of the Douro, with its bars where you can sample the local cuisine. You can also visit the Port wine cellars, with tastings included.
