Cinthia K.May 2024PozitivnoPlaygrounds, lake, sunbathing lawn, restaurant pizza was great and small store, reception was friendlyNegativnoUnfortunately, no information about the experience card was given or handed out at reception ....Was okUnfortunately, the sanitary facilities were poorly cleaned or not cleaned at all during our stay, the staff threw us out of the playroom during the rain even though it was designated to be able to stay there despite the day off, the replacement groundskeeper didn't take his job very seriously either,... full garbage bags (torn open) were ignored. The main groundsman was super, friendly and attentive.

We received a very friendly and courteous welcome and someone showed us the free pitches straight away.
The sanitary facilities were always clean and tidy. There is a restaurant on site where you can eat well or just have a drink or an... ice cream.
The price was also ok for Carinthian Lake District.
We can definitely recommend the campsite.

We liked the rear sanitary area best, it wasn't so dark and cramped.

This was due to the great pitch that we got on the day of arrival and the many nice day guests from Villach and the surrounding area that we met at the lake. Without the shared sunbathing lawn, which campers share with the day guests, we would never have... met such lovely people. The lake is great, as are the restaurants. The toilets are clean and adequate. Bread roll service without pre-ordering. Dogs are not allowed in the lake or on the meadow. But that was irrelevant for us. We're already looking forward to the next time.
Oh yes... you need an extra-long power cable on the Seewiesen. Too few showers when the place is full.Campsite and lake as in the picturesA really great campsite. It looks just like the pictures you can see. We also loved the beach access and the large sunbathing area. The water is a fantastic color. We had a SUP with us and normally you have to pay a daily fee for this, which the campsite pays, which we thought was great. There is a small... store on the campsite where you can buy the essentials. There is a large selection of bread rolls, sweet pastries and croissants. The pizza in the restaurant was also delicious. We had a large pitch on which our large caravan and car could easily stand. Apart from the few and not always clean showers, there is nothing to complain about. We were warmly welcomed (very friendly staff) and were given a shady spot as requested. The size of the pitch is great. The access to the lake is great. Lake Faak is beautiful. There is a bit of a program (don't miss the tractor ride... with Robert!), but not too much, so there is no noisy animation. The area around the campsite is great. There is a small forest with a fitness trail in the immediate vicinity. You can go on shorter and longer hikes directly from the campsite. The restaurant is good and the staff there are very friendly. Overall, the site is clean, but unfortunately the showers are not always clean. Of course, this is also due to the other campers, but dead mosquitoes on the wall in the shower should be removed. This didn't happen in 12 days, even after a cleaner was informed. Some of the showers also lack storage facilities for shower gel etc.
But that's complaining on a high level and shouldn't deter you from booking this place!
It's also great that attention is paid to a good night's sleep.
There is a small store where you can buy all the essentials.
For us, this is one of the best campsites we've been to.

Restaurant: the new restaurant is a real success and the food is fantastic. Price - performance is really TOP here
Pitch: we had a pitch right on the lake, which was really a dream - absolute recommendation to book on the lake if possible....
Sanitary facilities: everything was TOP clean, even though the campsite was fully booked. A separate children's toilet with children's shower and washbasin available.
A small negative point are the day guests, because in good weather there are a lot of people who unfortunately show very little consideration and almost lie in the awning.
An absolute gem of the campsite is Erwin, who is always in a good mood on the campsite, is always on hand with help and advice and always has a cheerful saying on his lips.
In general, all the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Access is well signposted, very friendly ladies at reception and a very nice, hard-working groundsman.
We had made a reservation as we needed a larger pitch to have space for an additional small tent for two more people, which worked... out wonderfully. We got a really nice and really large pitch with a great location close to the (new and always clean) medical supply store, store, restaurant and the sunbathing lawn by the lake.
The ground was firm and dry, despite the downpour and 12 hours of rain.
Old trees provide pleasant shade on 90% of the pitches.
Store ok for everyday necessities, excellent pastries in a large selection without pre-ordering.
Restaurant with great pizzas and other dishes.
Easy access to the lake, sunbathing lawn large enough.
Although the campsite was quite full, it was quiet at 10pm.
The only drawback - a lot of visitors with dogs and no "bags for the poop" and due to the lack of discipline of some masters and wives not completely free of mines, no matter how hard the hard-working groundskeeper is behind it.
Cycling and hiking trails within easy reach of the campsite.
A manageable, well-kept campsite with a real feel-good atmosphere, we will definitely be back.Automatski prevedeno.

The main location of... the meeting is only a few hundred meters away and you have to like the roaring engines until late at night and the traffic jam that formed in front of the campsite.
