- Jörn L.August 2023PozitivnoVery quiet, well-kept placeNegativnoOnly a few plots have a sea viewCamping in the forest / only a few pitches with sea viewA very nice green site, very well maintained. Unfortunately, there are only a few pitches with a sea view. Despite a perceived occupancy rate of only 5-10%, we didn't get a pitch with a sea view. But the pitches in the forest are also very nice, green and clean.
The sanitary facilities are immaculate and very clean.Automatski prevedeno. - A. B.July 2023Pozitivno+ fantastic location + great nature + peace and quietNegativno- No information from the operator in the event of a severe weather warning for wind force 12 (at least for the exposed pitches). - 100% payment on bookingGreat quiet campsite in wonderful nature!Absolutely recommendable, great and quiet campsite in wonderful nature. We had one of the pitches with a sea view on the edge of the dunes, simply fantastic.
However, pitches 45 and 46 are very sloping. To get to pitch 44, you have to climb a small slope, our front-wheel drive caravan couldn't get up... backwards in the wet meadow, the mover then fixed it. As great as the view and the sunset are from these pitches, it is relatively uncomfortable and possibly dangerous here in a strong storm. With the storm warning of 120 km/h (wind force 12), we moved to a pitch sheltered from the wind, as did all our direct neighbors. Unfortunately, the campsite did not provide any information about the impending storm.
The majority of the pitches are without a sea view, but there are also many really great pitches with flair on larger meadows or in the forest.
The beach is about 300 meters away, of which it is about 50 meters downhill via a 100 m long wooden staircase.
The sanitary facilities were always clean and up to date. There is no separation between men and women, all wash houses are unisex.
Especially for campers with tents, there is a kitchen with a stove, oven and pots.
There are several playgrounds with a climbing frame, bouncy castle, swings, sandpit, zip wire, beach volleyball court and a small soccer pitch.
Bread rolls can be ordered in advance and there is a small store. Good shopping is available in Fjerritslev, approx. 9 km away.
The campsite is very expensive, but it is located in a beautiful natural setting. What bothered me was having to pay in full when booking in February.
Conclusion: A great campsite in a fantastic location, we would love to come back.Automatski prevedeno. - Peter L.September 2022PozitivnoLocation of the squareNegativnoLet nature pay well for itself.Pure natureCampsite in pure nature. - Wigbert H.May 2022Pozitivnosee commentNegativnoNo disadvantagesVery nice campsite in the middle of the natural Svinkløv KlitplantageVery nice campsite in the middle of the unspoiled Svinkløv Klitplantage. The pitches are spacious and are located on a plateau above the beach level with a beautiful dune landscape, which can be reached via a staircase. I was there in the 2nd week of May 2022 with my small camper (stopover on the way... to Norway) and the area was hardly occupied by tourists. There is still a huge selection of free pitches during this period. The campsite has a large service building with family-friendly sanitary facilities, kitchen and recreation rooms. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The hot water for showering and washing up is very hot. No tokens or transponders are required for use. I can't say what the campsite is like in the high season. The beautiful landscape along the Jammer Bay with the Svinkløv and Kollerup plantations is ideal for hiking and cycling (... especially mountain bikers can let off steam here).
I was completely satisfied, including the prices. The additional energy surcharge was fine due to the price development.Automatski prevedeno. - nicole s.August 2021PozitivnoView of the North SeaNegativnoBooking procedure, price developmentgreat place, but...The campsite is for us one of the most beautiful in Denmark, we were there this year for the 4th time in a row. We have booked 2 pitches for 10 days, we paid 50% on arrival, it was already clear on arrival that a pitch could only be taken for 7 days, but we still had to pay for the full 10 days on arrival,... and on departure after 7 days there was no refund, no, on the contrary, the pitch, which was now paid for, was immediately rented out again, that is cheeky, for this reason the campsite is no longer an option for us....Automatski prevedeno.
- Andrea M.July 2020PozitivnoThe location is great and the nature is indescribably beautiful. The place is very integrated into nature and wildly romantic. Sanitary facilities clean and immaculate. The kitchen was functional. The herb bed for self-service was also great. At the reception you get everything you need. The manager of the campsite is very nice and courteous. We love this place and it is one of our favorites in Dk.NegativnoDoes not exist for usNature camping at its bestA beautiful site in a great location on a breathtaking coastline.
Large pitches integrated into nature.
It could hardly be better ...Automatski prevedeno. - Dirk B.July 2018PozitivnoPeace and quiet in the forest with a magnificent viewNegativnoBeach only accessible in a few places, lots of stones, little sand.Very nice location if you don't want to go on a beach vacationWe landed at the campsite with our caravan in July after reading the many positive reviews. The location is beautiful if you like the Harz or Black Forest feeling. The pitches are very different, but most of them are not as romantic as advertised in the reviews. The front area is quite cramped when fully... occupied. There are nice pitches at the back, which you have to reserve early. However, most of the pitches are really standard and don't have any wild camping flair. I really expected more. The sanitary blocks are simple but clean. If you like looking at the sea, this is the place for you. If you want to touch the sea, there are better places, because the path to the sea is very alpine and there aren't many paths to the sea. That's the biggest minus point for me. The beach as such is also not really suitable for swimming, at least not for children. Lots of round stones, not very inviting. If you like hiking and want to look out over the sea from above, this is the place for you. The advertised tranquillity can also be found in other places in DK.Automatski prevedeno.

- Volker K.June 2017PozitivnoFriendliness, cleanliness, nature and tranquillityNegativnofor us noPure relaxationYou can only agree with the other campers with their reviews. You really shouldn't give a positive rating here, otherwise too many campers will come to this great place. The welcome is very friendly and the location of this campsite is simply top. A campsite that blends into nature and never feels overcrowded.... The reception and small supermarket are very new. If you need a little more for shopping, it is advisable to visit a supermarket beforehand. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fair. There are places that are much more expensive and worse. This was definitely not our last time here. Many thanks to the operator who looks after this place so well.Automatski prevedeno.
- Erik B.August 2016PozitivnoPeace and quiet - and VERY beautiful and distinctive natureNegativnoNONEAmazing natureWas at Svinkløv 4 days mid August 2016 Great location with all opportunities for hiking in the beautiful and distinctive nature around the site. A LARGE site in terms of area but with many shelter belts and 'pockets'. New sanitary facilities that are VERY well maintained and clean. Very friendly hosts.... Location quite a few kilometers from the nearest town/shopping opportunity, but therefore so wonderfully peaceful. No bouncy castles and water parks (thanks for that) - a distinct place for 'travelers' who want nature for all the money. We were there just outside the high season, and the price/value ratio is VERY favorable.Automatski prevedeno.
- Bernhard H.August 2016PozitivnoLocation, tranquillity, beach, cleanliness, friendliness, lots of greenery throughout the siteNegativnoNot necessarily suitable as a starting point for sightseeing, payment of the CP fee with Maestro costs 3.75 % surcharge, possibly quite windySimply greatWe stayed at this site for two weeks at the beginning of August and were completely thrilled. Large pitches, lots of bushes and trees, clean sanitary facilities and, despite the many dogs, a very clean site with no "landmines". Svinkløv Camping is quite secluded in the middle of nature by the beautiful... Jammer Bay. The access road to the campsite can be a bit stressful for some campers with 2.50 m wide caravans, but it only gets really tight on the site itself. You have to be careful how you get around the one or other corner with your big boat, as the bushes and trees grow right on the edge of the path and sometimes protrude into it. The summer of 2016 was quite windy there, which is why you have to take the front spots with a pinch of salt. It was quite windy here and we had to take down our partial awning after just one week. The few staff are very helpful, extremely friendly and courteous. The western sanitary block is older than the one near the registration area but is generally always clean. There are plenty of showers and washbasins available, showers and hot water are included. The ground conditions on the campsite vary greatly. On one side there is grass with earth underneath, just next to it grass with pure sand, there are also said to be clay pitches, which can sometimes be under water when it rains heavily. In any case, a well-stocked range of pegs is recommended to secure the awning. You can pick up bread rolls at the registration desk in the morning without a reservation, which are baked there. There is a small mini-shop with the most necessary groceries and basic necessities. Fjerritslev is about 9 km away by car. There you will find Netto, Aldi, Super Brugsen etc. The beach is only about 300 meters away, but you have to walk about 30 meters down a narrow path along the coast. This is no fun for children in windy conditions. However, the beach and dune landscape makes up for it. Depending on the weather, you'll find everything from the glassy seas of Skagerak to four-metre-high waves in a strong westerly wind. Either way, it's an experience and the beach is never crowded. The many regular structures of the Atlantic Wall from the Second World War are worth seeing and exploring. Here, the younger generation on the entire west coast of Denmark is given a very clear and tangible demonstration of the work of the German Reich. Absolutely fascinating on the one hand, terrifying on the other. One bunker in the immediate vicinity of the site is accessible, many others are completely overgrown. Enter at your own risk! The campsite is only suitable as a starting point for sightseeing to a limited extent, as Hirtshals, Hanstholm, Løkken, Aalborg etc. are all a few kilometers away. Skagen (well worth a visit) is about 135 km away and, depending on traffic, takes just under two hours. But if you are looking for peace and quiet, hiking or even mushroom picking, want to take in the natural surroundings or really want to "shred" on specially designated MTB routes, you will hardly find a better place. There is a diverse mix of visitors: many Danes spend their vacations here or are permanent campers, some Dutch, Norwegians, Swedes and Finns can be found and, somewhat surprisingly for us, a relatively large number of German tourists. This corner of Denmark is ideal for slowing down, perfect for long cycling or hiking tours and Svinkløv Camping is simply a beautiful place. It was not the last time we were there.Automatski prevedeno.
- Ulrich M.May 2016PozitivnoPeace - nature - friendliness!Negativnonone!TOP course created without "destroying" natureAfter a very friendly welcome (German), our pitch request (close to the service building and beach) was fully met. Very quiet site with perfect sanitary facilities. The pitches were integrated into the natural surroundings - very nice! The path to the beach leads through an extensive dune area!Automatski prevedeno.
- Hans-Joachim B.September 2015Pozitivno+++++Rest, relaxation, view, friendliness, cleanliness++++NegativnononePure relaxationFirst of all, a huge thank you to the campsite operator for 2 weeks of pure relaxation and a view of the sea. We were lucky enough to be right on the hillside with a sunset and sea view. This place is absolutely great for anyone looking for relaxation and peace. Cleanliness, friendliness and service are top notch. We would love to come back.Automatski prevedeno.
- Ronny K.August 2014PozitivnoRestGreat place, great location, SUper sanitary facilitiesReally quiet and beautifully situated site above the cliffs. But relatively short walk to the beautiful beach. Wonderful dune landscape. Beautiful, parceled out and large pitches. Relatively new and very clean sanitary facilities. Hot water included in the price. Bread rolls and/or bread must be pre-ordered at reception for the next day, but this works smoothly. We will be back!Automatski prevedeno.

- Niels-Arne S.June 2014PozitivnoLocation Price/performance Cleanliness WLAN Beach Friendliness of the staffNegativnoDistance (may vary!)This is how I imagine camping!Actually, I didn't want to write a review so that this campsite would remain an insider tip! But this is the most beautiful campsite I've ever visited! You have to experience it for yourself! The pitches are not really parceled out or separated from each other, but they are clearly laid out. Cleanly... mowed (no grass cuttings on the pitch) and easily accessible (you can get almost anywhere, even with large caravans, as long as you can drive). Depending on the pitch, you may need a slightly longer power cable (but 20m is always enough). On the pitches towards the beach, however, you should definitely have wheel chocks on some pitches to align the camper van. However, the majority of the pitches are surprisingly level. The sanitary facilities are always clean and well maintained. There are lounges and cooking facilities for campers. A barbecue hut is also available. Pitches of various sizes are available for the WW and camper fraction. Everyone will find a place to feel at home. The path to the beach is via a flight of steps or a paved path, which is not suitable for people with walking difficulties. However, there is a possibility to reach the beach 1km away (by car). The staff is very friendly and helpful. More the type of people you spontaneously invite for a beer than those who just do their job. A really great place! For dog owners: plenty of exercise! The beach was 'overcrowded' when you saw 3 dots on the horizon. Get off the leash! There are deer and hares in the nature reserve around the campsite, so you should have control or a lead (mandatory!). I can only warmly recommend this campsite, even to my best friend! Now I'm enjoying my last week's vacation here on the edge of Denmark!Automatski prevedeno.
- Benjamin C.August 2013Beautiful! We've probably never been to a more beautiful place. An enormous amount of greenery, which - like everything here - is very well-kept. Two sanitary buildings, both of which are easily accessible from all pitches, a small store at the entrance with local specialties and all daily necessities.... The operators are also very nice and keep the campsite and sanitary buildings (with kitchens and lounge) almost frighteningly clean ;-). The way back from the beach is a bit arduous, but so beautiful that we hardly noticed the stairs. Simply great, thank you very much for the days in Svinkløv!Automatski prevedeno.
- Frank S.July 2013PozitivnoPure nature and beautiful pitches, very clean sanitary facilities. Always nice people...NegativnoNot enough for young people, no cafeteria.Always beautiful, I love the place !!!I have been to this site since I was a small child and have visited it more than 30 times over the years, sometimes only briefly. It offers a lot of nature in the surrounding area (although some trees have been cleared in recent years) and a wonderful view from the Svinklovene cliffs over the entire... Jammer Bay. The pitches are very nice, partly parceled out and everyone will find their favorite niche. Sanitary facilities are absolutely ok and clean. Playgrounds and trampolines for the children are available-SB store is well stocked! Everyone is very friendly. Beach and dunes are easily accessible on foot (road or cliffs) and by car etc.. The only thing missing here is a small bistro/cafeteria or similar. If you are looking for peace and relaxation, this is the place for you! I WILL ALWAYS REMAIN YOUR FAN, FARVEL, Frank Sch.Automatski prevedeno.

- Marthe B.July 2012PozitivnoLots of peace and quiet, great location and clean facilitiesNegativnoSteep descent to the beach is not suitable for small children.Beautiful place with a dream locationAfter a friendly welcome at reception, we were able to choose our pitch from the pitches that were still available. We decided on one of the great pitches with a sea view, but then had to rebook again due to the strong wind (our bus awning simply couldn't be erected in the wind). Our rebooking was carried... out without any problems. The site is in a really great elevated position with an unbeatable view of Jammer Bay. The sanitary facilities were well maintained and the site was also very clean. Everything is quiet and the pitches are really well distributed and separated from each other by trees and bushes.Automatski prevedeno.
