Very quiet location and very spacious site with free choice of pitches, if you don't need electricity, you have the most beautiful part to yourself. Boat mooring available, kayak and e-bike rental. Kitchens available, older common room for rainy days. Wi-Fi good and extends to the lake. Mini golf available. Lieksa can be reached quickly by bike or car, with all stores, petrol stations etc. Sandy beach, also for locals, ideal for children.

Quasi communal showers, but hot and plentiful, sanitary facilities no longer up to date, but clean.
Very nice place opposite Lieksa on Lake Pielinen!

Various saunas, ask for times!
Main season from July, at the moment solstice very little activity!

Space in need of renovation (too expensive)
We have been there several times and the last time was 16 years ago, nothing has changed but it has only gotten worse. The place needs renovation. No light in the toilets by the sauna, the showers (formerly individual cabins) have been converted into communal showers. The common rooms are still in the... 70s. Free WiFi only works sporadically or is switched off by the site staff when you approach reception. Electricity is very expensive at €5 per night! Pitch 15,-€, adults 5,-€, children 3-€, electricity 5,-€ ~ far more than 30,-€ per night are not justified!
