The playgrounds probably need to be refurbished too. Wi-fi does not work. And poor reception on the mobile so Wi-Fi is good to have.Cause of capingWe had a good weekend overall. But there are things that can be done better. The place we had tilted to all holes did not get the cart flat so we had to lie with a slope. Wi-Fi does not work. It was very noisy on arrival (very crowded, lots of people, live music in the restaurant), but fortunately it quietened down a bit. What bothered us was the somewhat unkempt impression you get when you walk through the grounds. In particular, the area between the petting... zoo and the restaurant could be tidied up more often or why do you have to store old stuff like chairs, broken canoes or fence elements next to the restaurant? The seating area in front of the reception was also uninviting because the tables were mostly dirty. And the seats around the petting zoo suffered from the unpleasant smell. You also have little privacy as you stand close together and there are lots of people around, also because the beach is a public bathing beach. We briefly considered whether we should look for another place, but as we were traveling a lot and there were also advantages, we stayed. For example, the sanitary block was very new and clean, the kitchen was well equipped for everyone to use, the staff are very friendly, there is a store that offers everything a camper needs and the location by the lake is really nice, you can even find quiet corners in the evenings and mornings. All in all, I would say that the site is really suitable for families with children (lake, mini golf, fun pool, ice cream parlor, petting zoo, jumping pillow, paddle tennis, fitness facility). For us, the place was just too big, too crowded and too loud, but that's personal preference. We especially enjoyed the excursions to Trollhättan, Uddevalla and the Hunneberg. The forest path along the lake to Vänersborg is also very beautiful. And by the way, the campsite also offers a regular shuttle to Vänersborg on a little train.Automatski prevedeno.

These include (in our time) a much too small sanitary building, the public access to the beach that goes right through the middle of the square, loud in the evening, eternal party and loud music. Who likes it o.k. We ended our... visit after one day and got back the money we had already paid for the 2nd day. We had already pre-booked the pitch in the spring. On arrival, it turned out that the campsite staff had pre-booked a tent pitch instead of a motorhome due to a mistake. The "emergency pitches" suggested to us were not acceptable due to the cleanliness... and weeds. We were then given a pitch at the immediate exit of the campsite, directly on an asphalt road. The sanitary facilities on this side were inadequate and not very clean. In the morning we had to queue for the morning wash. Minigolf course and restaurant with nice terrace. Great place about 10 minutes from Vänersborg. In the middle of the forest, directly on the Väner. Nice staff, German-speaking employees. Great place in a great location. - Toni A.July 2010We, 4 people aged 16-21, spent 2 weeks at the campsite. The site is difficult to reach without a car (1 hour walk), but hitchhiking is fine. Costs: 205 crowns per night and tent (with or without car). With electricity a little more. Unfortunately you have to pay 5 crowns per 4 minutes for the showers,... but the sanitary facilities are very clean. Canoe hire: 40 euros per day, 9 euros per hour, which we thought was too much. Minigolf costs 3 euros per person. The mini store at the reception offers everything you need, albeit at overpriced prices, but the restaurant belonging to the campsite is OK. It's almost impossible to swim because Sweden's largest lake is incredibly cold. But the beach is very nice. Overall, the site is very clean and the receptionists are very friendly. The nearest town, Vänersborg, doesn't offer many things to do.Automatski prevedeno.
