- Julie C.June 2021PozitivnoThe il gusto restaurant, very good chef, super friendly staff.NegativnoThe accommodation is dilapidated and the location is noisy and dangerous. Awful reception staff who look down on us and call us liars. To be avoidedNever again is this not a 5*, I'm not even giving it 3.
The pools are nice, but that's about it.
Dirty communal toilets.
The mobile home is old, ugly, the holes in the walls are filled with children's stickers. So narrow that at the top of my size 40 I can't even get round the bed to go to bed, and my... husband, at 1.86 m tall, can't wash with the door closed, otherwise he bumps into everything. There's no room for a cot unless you condemn the toilet or the sofa.
Dangerous location, the balls from the pitch next door almost landed on our heads or my stroller several times, sometimes until 10.30pm when we had to ask them to stop playing - we can't sleep with the noise of the balls banging around.
Woken up every day by cars when it's not the dumpster being emptied at 7am.
Not to mention the attitude of the reception staff.
If I could have put 0 I would have.Automatski prevedeno. - Bruno H.August 2017PozitivnoClean and well-kept mobile homes, facilities and grounds Friendly staff Good location Beautiful pool facilities Good restaurant(s)NegativnoIf you like it quiet in the evening, the evening entertainment can be disturbing.Great mobile home park for familiesWe were here at the end of August/beginning of September. All in all, we liked it very much. The village is divided into three quarters, we were in the Aquabule, close to the covered swimming pool. This swimming pool in particular (1 of a total of 4 pools) was a hit with our two little boys. And even... after a day at the beach, they wanted to go swimming again in the evening. The roof protects them from the wind, which can be a bit chilly on a late summer evening. We could happily do without entertainment and evening entertainment, but due to the location of our accommodation, we were only remotely aware of it. However, I could well imagine that it can be very loud and annoying at other campsites if - like us - you don't like it and would rather spend a quiet evening. But the entertainment and evening entertainment is advertised on the homepage. So you know what you're getting into. What's more, the 'spectacle' doesn't last until late into the night. The whole site was very clean and well-kept - including the sanitary facilities. The small welcome pack that awaited us in our mobile home was also nice. It contained the most important utensils (washing-up liquid, toilet paper, bin bags, etc.) to get you through the first day or two until you go shopping. The bistro serves home-made, fresh pizzas - but the waiting times are very long. It's essential to order in advance if you want to eat at a certain time. We also tried the restaurant by the lagoon. The atmosphere there is very nice in the evening. The prices are okay and they also offer very reasonably priced menus where you can put together your own courses from a small selection of dishes. Children's menus are also offered - you may have to ask. Even more important than the price: the food was really nice and lovingly prepared and tasted very good. All the staff were very friendly. And at least at reception, most of them speak several foreign languages. The beach (l'Espigettte) is about 2 kilometers away and can therefore be reached on foot or by bike. Drivers can buy a discounted parking ticket at reception, as parking on the beach is subject to a charge during the season. However, the cost of an all-day ticket is reasonable - and you can drive in and out with it. The beach was also very clean. It really is very spacious, so you certainly don't need to worry about a lack of space, at least at the end of August (but almost certainly also in high season). The village is just outside the town center of Le Grau-du-Roi and almost as close to the beautiful medieval town of Aigues Mortes. There is a large supermarket on the main road leading to the village. Otherwise, you can also buy the essentials in the store in the village - and you can get a baguette for breakfast anyway. For us it was a nice and relaxing vacation in a mobile home park that we can recommend.Automatski prevedeno.
- silke m.June 2012we have been here 3 times, the campsite is located in le grau du roi a harbor town beautiful with an old harbor and a nice place to stroll, there is also a more modern part with a marina, characterized by vacation settlements, not so nice but ok, the place itself is about 2km by bike to the beach and... about 2km into the village unfortunately has no pitches or campsites, therefore only 3 stars here, only mobilhomes, which are beautifully equipped, at least the new family mobilhomes, there is a nice playground, a great pool area a restaurant, not so good, but a snack bar-pizzeria with super delicious pizzas and fries etc, there you can also buy bread and croissants fresh at any time....a pizza in france costs from 8-12 euros, you have to live with that...but these are delicious, the staff are super nice, they are building a covered dream pool area like many yelloh-village places, which is certainly great...unfortunately on french holidays or during vacation time you have to reckon with guests who are incredibly loud, the french then unfortunately think that they have leased everything but the campsite can't do anything about it, it should just take better care of peace and quiet, but these are individual days and individual guests, that happens everywhere, i am happy to recommend this campsite and above all the area is a dream, varied with many excursion possibilities nearby, be sure to visit aigues mortes, the fortress and the market are a dream, le pont du gard and pezenas are also beautiful to look at....we always like to come back, of course not to forget the espiguette beach, a dream and rare on the mediterranean in france, large and spacious as on the north sea with beautiful small dunes...here you don't step on your feet so quickly, a little further towards spain you won't find such a spacious beach area anywhere else, as we have already visited many campsites in languedoc and only here the beach is so large---wonderfulAutomatski prevedeno.
