This is mainly because of its convenient location, close to the ski resort and thermal water park, but also because of the always helpful and friendly staff. The advantage of winter camping is, besides always... clean and heated toilets and showers, also a room for comfortable storage of skis and ski equipment. The ski storage room is equipped with ski dryers, so you will find your skis dried and heated in the morning.
Outside of the winter season, tourists will also come into their own. For example, the Juráňová valley nature trail starts in Oravice. There is also a pizzeria right in the campsite, where you can sit and chat with friends in the warmth over tea or good wine. The reception was very friendly. The pitches are unparceled with a beautiful view of the mountains. There was also a fire pit. The sanitary facilities were new and very well maintained. As it was already cool in the evening, we looked forward to... the hot shower. Below the campsite, you can go on a beautiful circular hike through the Ticha Dolina to the Juranova Dolina. Plocha pro karavany rovná a pro stany v mírném svahu. Pro malé děti v kempu dřevěný auto jako prolézačka a dvě větší houpačky vhodné i pro dospělé. Malý bufet s nabídkou nealko i alko nápojů a drobné pochutiny. V kempu... se nachází též asi 3 ohniště. Sanitární zařízení po rekonstrukci vypadá dobře. Horší je to s čistotou.Zřejmě díky malému tlaku vody často nespláchnete a věřte že pokud se tak stane někomu již před Vámi tak to moc hezky nevypadá. Dále krom rána a večera nemožnost se osprchovat též kvůli nedostatku vody. I přesto kemp hodnotím docela kladně a to hlavně z důvodu lokality a přístupu zaměstnanců.

We arrived at 8:30 a.m., the reception was not manned and the mobile bell was not in its place. We walked around the campsite for about 20 minutes. Nobody showed up. Overall, the site made an unkempt impression.... The sanitary facilities are in the basement of one of the bungalows - everything is very dark and not exactly clean. Also close to hiking trails in the mountains as well as to the ski slope.
