It is almost exclusively canoeists who come to this site and also go canoeing during the day. However, you can also go on beautiful hikes directly from the campsite. The campsite is located directly on the Koritnica River and right next to it is the Isonzo... River. On the upper half of the site are the somewhat nicer pitches, where you can really set up tents. All in all, there really are a lot of campers here. There are particularly great real tent pitches at the bottom of the Koritnica river. However, you can't take a car there. But they really are very nice, quiet places for tents. What really bothers me, even at other campsites in the mountains, is often the narrow access road to the campsite. You have to drive very carefully for a few hundred meters on the access road to the campsite and make sure that nobody is coming from the opposite side, otherwise you have to get out of the way somehow. But it "works". Basically, you can say of the whole area, on which all 4 campsites are located here, that it is very suitable for real campers. There are also a lot of youth groups here, but they are all decent, as they are pursuing their hobby of kayaking or canoeing. Bread rolls can be ordered in front. The small restaurant is a typical camping restaurant, nothing more and nothing less. Normal. There are many well-developed hiking trails over suspension bridges, through cool forests and along the river. A wide range of sports activities for water, mountain and air (albeit at a rather high price level). But in July/August you can also be unlucky. The location is great! Partly directly on the Soca. Sanitary facilities could be more modern, but are okay. The staff were friendly and the infrastructure (electricity, water, garbage, washing up) is plentiful... and very tidy. Especially recommended for active vacationers.
