The proximity to the beautiful beach is the highlight here.
However, the smell of the waste garbage cans... and the waste water disposal points lingers over large parts of the site, which is more than unpleasant depending on the wind direction.
The sanitary facilities are an imposition. Mold in the showers, urine-smelling toilets. I don't want to go into any more detail here...
We were there at the end of the season and the campsite was very crowded for the first few days.

The surrounding area and nearby towns are easy to explore by bike and the location is also good for exploring the sights in the area. There are a lot of long-term campers on the site, which is why it was quite quiet during the week. The... store was as good as empty...it will probably be sold empty at the end of the season. The pitches are large and easy to access, you just have to be careful not to stand right next to an inconspicuous toilet disposal in the forest....The staff at reception were friendly.

Playgrounds, great climbing park, restaurant, beautiful beach and good cycle paths for exploring the surrounding area. It's up to everyone to accept the price or drive on. The campsite is located in a wooded area and when we visited, the largest European outdoor handball tournament was taking place. And we got the last pitch without a reservation. There are many permanent... campers on the campsite (not negative). Satellite reception is hardly possible with the trees. You can quickly reach the beach and the town by bike/bus. The staff was helpful, sanitary clean and sufficient. Although it was high season and a "music" festival was taking place at the same time, we were able to choose a pitch (with electricity) from several. Our campsite was clean, relatively flat and we had enough space to park our tent and car. The electricity... was supplied via normal Schuko sockets and was included in the price. Speaking of price, our pitch cost 305SEK per night. As at all the campsites we visited, it didn't matter what we used to fill the pitch, whether it was a tent, camper van or motorhome. This included electricity and showers. Family bathrooms would have cost 10SEK/night extra. Unfortunately, WLAN was only available at reception. There was a techno festival in Ahus during our stay. Some of the young people taking part in it had taken up residence on the campsite. Unfortunately, it seems that in all parts of Europe, the nursery is no longer the best, we were accompanied all day by a sonorous roar from extremely loud music systems. What I criticize the CP here is that at least during the "break times" there was no enforcement, there were probably more than enough complaints. For us, it taught me to check the event calendars of the surrounding villages even more closely. We found the beach and the pier wonderful, not too wild but also not too licked like on some corners of our home coast. A final comment on the location. As coastal dwellers, we decided that Sweden only begins for us at Jönköping. What we saw on the Trelleborg-Ahus-Jönköping route is just as good for "us", except that you can save yourself a lot of money and travel time. From the banks of the Vättern, it was just as you would imagine, which is a reason for us to plan our future trips from here onwards and simply take the fastest route beforehand.Automaticky přeloženo.- Klaus B.srpen 2016PozitivaBeautiful shady pitches. Very full at the beginning due to the beach handball, but no problem. The pitch we were allocated at the beginning was occupied for two more days, so we had to look for it ourselves. Organization therefore rather problematic. The sanitary... facilities are also far too small for so many people (only three smaller houses) and not very clean. We had booked a family bathroom, which we had to change three times. Moldy and damp. The water when washing up was always lukewarm to cold. We booked a place with Water and Drain for all the days, but when we arrived it was a mess. It seems that no one had a clue of where places like the one we had paid for was. We specifically ordered place like this as we do not walk that well. We... were sent to 2 different places - with the same result - No water and drain. When it occurred that there was no hot water in the service building near us, we decided to leave the camp site. - Now our problems really started. We thought that it was obvious that when you could not get what you have bought, you are entitled to get your money back. This was now the case for this young main sitting at the desc in the reception. There was no possibilities and we are thinking of going through the court of law.

We found this site, located near the beach, very nice. Most of the pitches are under tall fir trees. We were allowed to choose our own pitch, which is very important to us. Unfortunately, the kiosk was not open at... the time of our trip (beginning of the week), but this was not necessarily to be expected at the beginning of May. The sanitary facilities are clean. We only had to be careful with the showers in our toilet block, as the hot water didn't work at times. The area around the campsite is characterized by weekend houses and is fun to look at. The beach is also very beautiful and offers good dining options in the high season. If you are traveling with a dog, there are plenty of opportunities for long walks. The sanitary facilities are ok and clean.... Bread rolls are not typically German, but ok (this is only because the German baker is always so emphasized). Communication also possible in German. The site and sanitary facilities were very clean. Even when fully occupied. Offer over midsummer with live music. Fresh bread rolls and fresh cinnamon buns available for purchase directly... on the pitch. Very nice and very helpful. Pitch in a great location near the sandy beach. Unfortunately, the restaurant attached to the campsite is not so good, except for the nice service. Cook is probably still learning. Great shopping facilities in Ahus.
