- Manuel W.August 2022Pozitiva- beautiful area and view - Shopping facilities nearbyNegativa- Toilets/ washrooms at reception poorly ventilatedBeautiful place in a beautiful areaThe site is well located near Uffing, shopping facilities can be reached quickly by bike. Beautiful view of the mountains and the lake.
The sanitary facilities are clean, but unfortunately the facilities at the reception are in the basement and sometimes poorly ventilated. There is a bread roll service in the snack bar/kiosk.Automaticky přeloženo. - Michi W.August 2019PozitivaLocation,NegativaLoud, no respect for the night's rest, crampedNo compliance with the night's rest, narrow - a pity as the location is generally a dreamWe regularly go (used to go?) to the site as we think the location is great for swimming, paddling and enjoying nature. Unfortunately, the site has become a summer barbecue and party spot for the people of Munich and the surrounding communities. Many men's youth groups of friends come to camp, but above... all to barbecue, laugh, drink and bawl loudly together until late into the night. Sleep is out of the question, as there are more and more of these groups, the inhibition threshold decreases. What's more, on nice days the site is so full that when you return to the site after a day of swimming, there may be another tent, car or camper van right in front of the awning - with no space between them. It is unparceled and also partly very sloping so that the place gives nothing else. The site management responded to requests for the night's rest to be observed from midnight with a shrug of the shoulders - we left earlier with a shrug of the shoulders - after the site was full anyway in good weather, the next barbecue round had space...Automaticky přeloženo.
- KarlHeinz I.August 2019PozitivaBeautiful area......NegativaQuiet......Definitely not a place to relax and unwind!Definitely not a place to relax and unwind. very crowded in the high season, but the worst, most unpleasant thing is when people party late into the night or even into the morning regardless of others. not everyone has a self-contained motorhome. The area,...... actually the pure idyll one would like to think, but it takes great luck not to have annoying neighbors without consideration for others....... it was unfortunately not the first time.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Klaus M.June 2019Pozitivabeautiful surroundings, swimming in the lakeNegativano pitches, dangerous sanitary facilities (stairs and shower cubicle) limited W-LanCP on the lake - tourist pitches not near the lakeNo parcelling, therefore very cramped when fully occupied. Electricity is a matter of luck, far too few connections. Cables are criss-crossed across the driveways. (Tripping hazards!) Worse: you have to go down 19 steps to the sanitary facilities, without an intermediate platform. A challenge, especially... for senior citizens. Showers very small, with the door closed and the bench folded down, the door cannot be opened in an emergency (opens inwards!). Showers cost extra (0.50€) with very short running time. Extremely long wait for food in the bistro in the evening, over 1.5 hours! W-Lan only available at certain times at reception.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Remo R.July 2018PozitivaClean, friendly, quiet, great location, great food, top price!NegativaAssortment of food is much too small! But will certainly be expanded as the new kiosk tenant has just startedSimply good !Super campsite in a great location and extremely quiet, permanent campers are separated from the rest. Pitches are not parceled out, which means there is plenty of space around the motorhome even during the high season! Very friendly and everything is super clean and the price-performance ratio is great!... For the camping toilet there is an ultra-modern machine that cleans and fills the cassette fully automatically for only one euro! The Greek restaurant on the site is absolutely great and highly recommended!Automaticky přeloženo.
- Martina W.August 2017PozitivaBeautiful path around the Staffelsee. Apparently the best place in the area despite everything.NegativaBasic price 29 € for 2 persons, shower extra and partly not working. Night's rest is not observed.Somewhat sobering, price and handling of the operator, too bad. Super landscapeThe landscape around the lake is super, beautiful lakeside path for walking. No parceled out pitches, pitches either a bit on the mountain or on the tent meadow and we had rain, all mud, one after the other left, otherwise you could only have pulled the caravan out with a tractor. About half of the tourist... pitches are in the entrance area of the reception and on the little-used road. You can hear all arrivals and departures. When there's a lot going on, you have to be careful when you're out and about, otherwise there may be no room to park your car or table and chair in the evening. And I think the place is overpriced, but that is of course a matter of opinion. Individual prices, 2 people €13, car €3.50, caravan over 5m €8, electricity flat rate €2.50, visitor's tax €2 and in no time at all the pitch is €29 and showers cost €0.50. The permanent campers have the best view of the lake. Night's rest is not observed. Wifi is available free of charge for about 2 hours at the reception building and again for about 3 hours at the bistro. Only there everyone runs and it is overloaded.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Petra K.July 2017Pozitivavery nice location friendly staffNegativaThe quiet hours from 22.00 are not enforced. Noise until late due to annoying guests. The bistro is very bad and expensive.Very beautifully situated placeThe place is beautifully situated. The staff are very friendly. Unfortunately, the tent meadow is no longer only used for tents, but also for caravans. So there are small hollows on the meadow, which is not so nice for tents when it rains. Unfortunately, the groundsmen only walk around the site during... the day. This means that some people see no reason to keep to the night-time peace! That is very annoying. The bistro is subterranean. Poor cuisine, small portions at high prices. The kiosk is overpriced. The coffee is bad. For guests without a fridge there is only a 250g butter with the rolls/bread, no small portion butterAutomaticky přeloženo.
- Andreas B.June 2017PozitivaClean lake, starting point for other placesNegativanoneBeautifully located CP on a clean lakeWe were given the last pitch at the barrier as we had not reserved. after the weekend we were able to move and had a nice pitch with a view of the mountains. Reception very, very friendly, were able to extend without any problems. Sanitary very clean, "Greek" restaurant not intoxicating.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Kerstin B.September 2016PozitivaDeparture must not take place before 18:00NegativaShowers cost extra! Full and loud at the weekend, unfortunately the night's rest is not observedNice campsite, unfortunately very crowded and noisyThe campsite is beautifully situated on the Staffelsee, but only the permanent campers have pitches down by the lake, the normal campers are up by the road. This means you don't feel like you're on the lake at all. The site is tidy and the sanitary facilities are clean - but the shower costs extra, which... I find rather outrageous considering the prices. We liked the free choice of pitches until a family with very rude, ill-mannered and screaming children sat down three meters from our caravan door. Then the peace and quiet was over... I realize that this is not due to the campsite! We were not impressed by the Greek restaurant on the site, very grumpy service, small portions and high prices.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Dirk W.August 2016Pozitivadirectly on the lakeNegativa-Very nice campsite on a beautiful lakeVery full at weekends in summer. Nevertheless, we got a place after booking in advance by phone. As the pitches are not specifically marked (at least not where we were), but you stand where there is still space, we didn't get any electricity as we didn't have a long enough cable with us. The site is... very nice, with sunbathing lawns on the lakeshore. You were allowed to stay until 6pm the following day, so you can stay the whole day. We were delighted. The staff were very friendly despite it being very busy.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Michael D.September 2015PozitivaQuiet location and you can stay until 6pmNegativaShowers must be paid for separatelyBeautiful location of the placeLocation of the place nice only unfortunately the sanitary facilities were not cleaned so clean. Pitches partly very sloping. As a tourist camper you are apparently not as respected as the permanent campers because the whole lake is besieged and you are further away from the lake. It is nice that you can stay on the pitch until 6 pm.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Wichmann D.August 2015PozitivaQuiet location Direct access to the lake with beautiful sunbathing lawn Restaurant / beer gardenNegativaA bit off the beaten track not parceled out, everything is mixed, everyone looks for their own spot Camping meadow partly slopingGood place on a beautiful lakeWe stayed here with 3 children for 1 week at the beginning of August 2015. The sanitary facilities are quite new and were always clean. The site has a great beach (also with shade). The entrance area is slightly sloping so that you can also play in the water with children. The Greek restaurant on site... is ok and also has a nice beer garden. Boats can easily be launched at the special access point. There are no facilities. Everyone looks for their own pitch, partly slightly sloping on a slope, colorful mixture of tents, Wowa, Womo We liked it very much ... we will definitely come back again.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Florian D.June 2015PozitivaNice place, great location, reasonable pricesNegativaFull, hardly any parking spaces outside, cars parked in the meadows.Nice place on a great lake. Just Upper Bavaria...Great location, very large, very full on Corpus Christi. Many permanent campers who have preferred pitches towards the lake, the tourist pitches are further back; mixed tent, caravan and camper. Unfortunately, the cars / towing vehicles are also parked in the middle of the meadows. Meadows partly with... steep slopes or gradients. Very quiet despite dense occupancy. But it could also have been luck. The food at the Greek bistro was unfortunately not as good as it looked. Nevertheless very nice, minimal supply (ice cream, beer, milk, rolls to order) from the kiosk there. Sanitary facilities exemplary, showers for a fee. However, the hot water in the front sanitary building was only lukewarm for several days, but the weather was hot enough. Very nice operators, prices quite reasonable for the location and facilities.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Marius K.July 2013We were camping for the first time and found this place very nice! The sanitary facilities are quite new and well maintained. It's not far to the Zugspitze and you can go hiking, cycling, swimming and rent pedal boats and even electric boats just one village away. We would love to come back!Automaticky přeloženo.
- Uwe E.July 2012Very friendly and helpful staff. The sanitary facilities are very clean and are cleaned daily. We liked the free choice of pitches, although if it rains a lot, you should choose a higher pitch, as the meadow only absorbs a little water, but this is probably also due to the location of the campsite, as the lake is in a moorland landscape.there are well-paved paths for hiking and walking.we and our three dogs felt comfortable.Automaticky přeloženo.
- St. E.August 2011Pleasant place, completely uncomplicated handling of all matters, sanitary facilities actually undersized with high occupancy. Cleanliness of the sanitary facilities nevertheless given-naturally, guests cannot expect the dirt to be constantly removed behind them. With normal use of all facilities there... are no problems, e.g. the basin should be wiped down after washing up and leftover food should be removed from the basin. The kiosk and the Greek restaurant with beer garden were great. Also suitable for dogs - there is always a place where the dog can cool off - of course not on the children's beach. Here too, consideration and mutual tolerance are a must. Many excursion possibilities (also) in the immediate vicinity. Well suited to switch off and relax. We liked it there very much - if we get the chance we will be happy to stay there again. August 2013 - we stayed at the campsite again. Nothing has changed and we would love to come back when we get the chance.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Ekkehard D.August 2011The majority of the pitch is occupied by permanent campers. The smaller part near the entrance to the site is available for normal campers. This part is not percellated, so that tents, caravans and motorhomes can stand as they please. The upper meadow has a view of the Alps, the lower meadows have a... glimpse of the lake here and there. As the weather was bad at the end of July / beginning of August 2011, there was plenty of space available, but when the weather is nice there can be quite a crowd. The sanitary facilities are ok, but seem undersized for a fully occupied site. You have to pay an extra 50 cents for the showers. The men's showers gave off about 3-4 minutes of warm water (pure shower time, without soaping breaks). I found this simply too little, especially when several showers were used at the same time and the amount of water decreased considerably. The location is remote, the neighboring yacht club is a source of noise. Dogs are allowed, but not in the water. You can bring your dinghies or kayaks into the water directly from the site, but you have to carry them about 250m through the permanent campers' land. You can go shopping in Uffing, 2km away, or in Murnau. If you want to go on excursions, you always have to drive around the whole lake because there is no road on the west side. The operator is helpful and has repeatedly pulled stuck caravans from the meadow with a tractor. The washing machines and dryers cost 50 cents per 25 minutes, my wife was delighted. Coin-operated sockets are available for campers without electricity, and you can probably charge your cell phone in the laundry room. Internet / WLAN is unfortunately not available.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Wolfgang F.August 2011Beautifully situated site with excellent, well-maintained sanitary facilities. Private beach with shady sunbathing lawn, children's playground, boat launch. Ideal starting point for hiking and cycling tours. You need at least a bicycle to get to the nearest shops, there is a kiosk with the essentials... (rolls, newspaper, beer) on site, as well as a small restaurant. No parcelling, free choice of pitch. Dogs are allowed, but they are not allowed in the water for "hygienic" reasons. However, we always found a place where our pups could have a swim (you just have to be a little intelligent to counteract the bureaucracy). Night-time is officially at 22:00, but some campers probably confused this with 02:00... :-) It is the only campsite I know of that deviates from the stupid "you have to leave the campsite by 12:00 am, otherwise you have to pay for another day" rule. You have to check out by 18:00 on the day of departure, so it's completely stress-free, especially for weekend campers, because what am I supposed to do with my camper van outside at lunchtime if I can be home in an hour's drive?Automaticky přeloženo.
- Oliver S.June 2011A very nice campsite on the beautiful Staffelsee. Located directly on the lake, with its own small beach. Very clean sanitary facilities. Friendly staff. You can set off on great excursions on foot or by bike directly from the campsite.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Anja B.September 2010All in all quite ok. Unfortunately the dog was not allowed in the water. They don't take it too seriously with the peace and quiet. We were there in September and almost alone.Automaticky přeloženo.
