First they said it was only for campers on the site, then they said it was broken. Nothing like this has happened to me in the last 3 years, no matter which country we have traveled to. Ideal for racing eventsMuch better than fearedWe went to the Oldtimer Grand Prix at the Ring with our motorhome and had mixed feelings about the reviews. The reception was very friendly, we had a nice shady spot, the price was OK, the Ring wasn't far, the sanitary facilities were clean and we were able to sleep peacefully as we weren't checking in for the Rock am Ring or Truck Grand Prix, where there is a completely different crowd. It was clear to us that it would be a very loud weekend with little sleep. But what I did not expect was that the sanitary facilities could hardly be used from Friday evening onwards. The showers only had cold water and almost... all of the toilets were blocked or totally filthy on Saturday. If you have paying customers on a campsite then you have to make sure that the sanitary facilities are cleaned at least once a day.Automaticky přeloženo.

Prices are going through the roof, this time I had to pay €50 extra on departure - but nobody could explain that to me. I paid €253 for three people / 4 nights....... - Thorsten O.August 2015Stolen fromI and a friend were robbed in the night by unknown people, my photo camera was stolen and my wallet is also gone, even my sunglasses and charging cable for my cell phone were also stolen, all together worth about 600,- the next morning i also heard from several people who were robbed in the night the... security who only walk around with two people day and night is now not so for such a large camping site aslo security equal to zero was at the police in adenau and have made a report more i can not do the camera and the money is gone anyway sad but true actually wanted to stay there we wanted to stay there for a nice weekend to visit the WEC event we have tickets for three days but we left the next day we give up the event and our tickets how sick can you be and rob the camper in the night so if you go to the campsite please take good care of your valuables just want to pass this on not that you are nextAutomaticky přeloženo.

The sanitary facilities are unkempt and in a pitiful state. A lot of noise and smoke from the campfires at night. The only "ray of hope" was the friendly lady who sells bread rolls in the morning. Fire with meter high flames. Dirt and broken plumbing. Far too expensive. Even for free, I would not want to go there again. 5 euros extra to pay with Visa. Very unfriendly reception. We have threatened to file a complaint... with the police but they didn't care. The security had no impact on the major groups who made a lot of noise. So you could not sleep and you felt unsafe. If you only stay from 8pm to 8am, you have to pay for 2 (two!!) full days! Shards and dirt everywhere! Absolutely unsuitable for normal camping! I think only bearable for big events. - Anja M.July 2012Bad!!! Bad!!! Bad!!! That's all I can think of at the moment. I am an absolute camper. Before I would have to stay in a hotel I would go camping but I have never experienced anything like this. A person could hardly be more unfriendly than the older woman at reception. My father and brother were not... staying at the campsite and just wanted to come in to help me (a woman) set up the tent and pavilion. Unfortunately, each of them had to pay 52 euros to help me. So I paid a total of 104 euros to set up. The only answer I got at reception was: either they pay or they stay outside. That's it! Now that's what I call friendliness and helpfulness *grrr* I would have loved to collect all the lazy people on the campsite and throw them into reception. As you can see, words fail me! Oh yes, and I only have one word to say about the cleanliness and sanitary facilities: Disgusting! I happened to see the cleaning lady cleaning the toilets with one rag and then the washbasins with the same rag. Hmmmm, delicious!!!Automaticky přeloženo.

With a tent you might be lucky and get a dry, level and unsuspected pitch somewhere. With a caravan or motorhome it's just a case of: if you like your vehicle then look for another campsite. Electricity is only occasionally available...... It's best to bring a few cable reels. Sanitary facilities were already a disaster 20 years ago Conclusion for large events who likes.... but here the above is even worse.... The place is always expensive! - Andreas S.August 2011I was here for the DTM. That was camping to get used to. Electricity is only available if you happen to find a connection that is not blocked. The whole place stinks of smoke because there is always an open fire blazing somewhere. Very scary with all the trees around. Lots of groups, some with huge loudspeakers,... blasting music around the campsite. The toilets were the worst I've seen in the last 20 years. At the next event at the Nürburgring, I'll look for one of the decent pitches in the area. The price of 13 euros per person per day, i.e. 39 euros for the weekend plus 27 euros for electricity, is clearly too much for what is on offer.Automaticky přeloženo.

- Heinz M.July 2011I was on the pitch with a friend for F1. Has mankind learned nothing since Duisburg? The site was overbooked with several thousand people, there were neither showers nor toilets in sufficient numbers. Electricity is charged but is practically non-existent. Where are the authorities? Something like this... should be closed. I will never visit this place again and can only advise anyone who values their safety not to go here. Tents are set up in the roadway at night and cars drive through. Although the place is completely overcrowded, fireworks are set off all night. There are no fire extinguishers. All escape routes are blocked. Whether it's one or three nights, 65 euros are always charged for one night plus electricity. If you are lucky you get cold water and if you are lucky you can use a totally dirty toilet bowl.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Markus G.July 2011I was there for the F1 race with my son (14) and there was a kind of end-time atmosphere on the whole site, everyone could do what they wanted, there didn't seem to be any site rules or they were suspended at major events. The conditions in the sanitary facilities were catastrophic, there was virtually... no cleaning, when the cleaning lady was there she only had water and no detergent "only the boss has the key to the detergent cupboard" she said. The site was completely overcrowded with several thousand campers, luckily nothing worse happened otherwise there would have been no escape routes.
