Lots of padlocks, even the toilet paper is locked in a self-made steel frame with a padlock. Garbage should preferably be taken home again.
Short stay ok, long stay not recommended. Jeannine R.July 2021PozitivaClean sanitary facilities, direct lakeside location, friendly operators, lovingly designed site, reasonable prices, bread roll serviceNegativaThere are good and bad things about the keys for the sanitary facilities, we often misplaced ours and if you have to go to the toilet at night, you have to have it to handQuiet, clean campsiteThe place is super clean and designed with a lot of love. The operators are totally accommodating and you get the feeling that there is a solution for everything. The campsite is right on the lake. The paths to the toilets are well lit and the stairs in between are illuminated all night by a motion detector.... The site is inexpensive and offers everything you need, a playground, a pizzeria, bread delivery service, etc.

Great place, great facilities, very friendly operator. The Italian restaurant on site deserves a special mention: an Italian couple conjure up the most delicious pizza or pasta in a small kitchen. And at very moderate prices. Part of the very relaxing overall experience... is that the fresh preparation takes time, which you should allow for. Friendly family business.NegativaCash payment only (see also photo Sparkasse Ostalb)Everything you need(Stay 07/2016, edited 08/2017) The campsite "Am Sonnenbach" is located on the waters of the same name near Ellwangen and close to the A7. On arrival it is the first of two pitches. Mainly permanent campers, therefore quiet. There are several meadow areas on the site and a separate tent meadow (youth... site) for visitors passing through. The sanitary facilities on the north side of the wash house are new and modern, also for children and families at no extra charge. There is no camper store, but there is a bread roll service and a pizzeria that is well worth a visit! There is a large playground and football pitch for children, as well as a swimming area directly on the pitch (unguarded). Free WLAN and shopping facilities are available in Ellwangen town center, a short distance away. - We had a quiet and pleasant time. There are 2 CPs next to each other, both have a similar name, the operators even have the same surname although not related, a mix-up has often happened and can cause nasty surprises, because these CPs are different in terms of target group. Important, Sonnebach (correct),... Sonnenhof (incorrect). The CP Sonnenbach is a nice little CP with many permanent campers and regular guests. You get a very friendly welcome and if you are nice to the others, they are happy to help you, as it should be among campers. We liked it very much, the price-performance ratio is unbeatable and we will certainly come more often to clear our heads from everyday life on weekends. On the whole, the site is suitable for everyone, but mainly for those seeking peace and quiet. Children are also no problem if they are well behaved, sensible and listen to their parents. However, if the parents let their offspring do as they please and instead of looking after the children, prefer to devote themselves to the coffee party or barbecue, then the other campers may become displeased if the kids turn the campsite into a playground. Here, it's important to have a quiet time together so that you can relax and that's how it should stay. We passed the other campsite, where countless children were running around screaming wildly, there was no sign of their parents, the noise level was much louder. Families with lively and active children are certainly better off here, where they will find a huge playground and like-minded people. Even at midnight, when we were still walking the dog, people were singing, playing the accordion and guitar and chatting loudly. We were glad not to have all this at CP Sonnebach, because we work a lot and want to relax at the weekend, relieve stress and not have sleepless nights as if we were at Ballermann. There is no kiosk but there is a bread roll service. If necessary, you can also drive into town and visit the largest Kaufland in southern Germany, which has everything ;-) There is a pizzeria and honestly, if you don't try Nino's pizza, spaghetti or salads, you've missed something in life. The pizza alone is a reason to come back ;-) Addendum: We stayed from Fri.-Sun. and were only charged for 2 days or nights, although we stayed until the evening. I don't know whether this is always the case or just an accommodating gesture, but the owner is very generous, nice and easy-going. Elsewhere you have to check out soon in the morning or pay for another day, at least a fee for late departure.Automaticky přeloženo.
