- Thomas K.April 2023PozitivaGreat area Clean place You could communicate well in EnglishNegativaNothingNice place, mainly geared towards vacation homesThe campsite is primarily aimed at tenants of vacation homes (mobile homes), so it is more like a vacation home estate.
These are beautifully laid out and well and modernly equipped.
There are also some pitches for motorhomes/trailers and tents. But this clearly no longer seems to be the operator's core target group.
We had a large vacation home and were very happy with the accommodation.Automaticky přeloženo. - Stefan B.February 2023Pozitivaan idyllic spot with a little imagination and a lot of looking awayNegativaPlumbing from the Stone Age. Absolute cheekAutomaticky přeloženo. - Thomas K.March 2022PozitivaVery close to the seaNegativaUnheated washrooms and toilets, lukewarm water for washing dishes, unkempt pitchesMixed experiencesWe were on the pitch at the end of March until mid-April 2022. Despite reserving the "high" comfort pitch, we had to take the pitch that was free. At temperatures around 4 degrees in the morning, it was very cold in the unheated, partly open, outdated shower rooms. The same applies to the toilets. In... the dark there is a motion detector, so that we were sitting in the dark after a short time. The flushing water was only lukewarm. The pitches are very different in size despite the high level of comfort booked. They were unkempt, not mowed and there were branches and bushes on the pitch. It remained unclear why the indoor toilets and showers under the reception could not be used. These were used as storage rooms. The loud construction work in front of the washrooms was disturbing. The employees drove at high speed on the pitch, so you had to be very careful. As described, - the location is very nice, but you should not forget that you have to swallow a "toad" in one place or another. Incidentally, the restaurant was still closed and the beach was only leveled and made nice when we left. In my opinion, the operators' priority is more on the mobile homes, as there is less and less space for us campers and we felt more like a necessary evil.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Doris D.September 2021PozitivaOne of the few campsites with direct access to the bay via a main road.NegativaUnkempt pitches (hedges, trees overgrown), poor lighting on the campsite and (at least in the smaller) sanitary building. Mold on the shower partitions (all in the 2nd sanitary building)Well...We had looked at the CP in 2015 out of interest and it seemed ok. We were also encouraged by the positive reviews. We reserved one of the largest pitches (grand comfort) and I have to say that there are very big differences in the price category. We had maybe about 100 square meters and I couldn't make... much of a difference to the "smaller" ones. The pitch in the same price category across the road was easily 120sqm. The pitches are parceled out and separated by some bushes/hedges. However, they are not particularly well-maintained, but rather run wild. Leaves fall from the trees and stay there. With more wind, you just have problems with it yourself. In short, I've never swung a broom and wiped the table so much and so often - sometimes several times a day - on vacation. For those who might be rolling their eyes at this point, I would like to point out that I have had totally different experiences on Italian campsites (including directly on the Adriatic) and after more than 30 years of camping I have gotten to know more than 100 campsites. The pitches are made entirely of sand and as there are lots of stones, I recommend plenty of pegs. You won't get far with normal pegs and there are 2 sanitary blocks. I am reporting here on the smaller, older one and can tell you that all the showers/partitions there are infested with mold. Both the campsite itself and the sanitary block are poorly lit. Only motion detectors and if you stand under the shower, then you are (in the fall already from 19.30h) in absolute darkness. You would have to leave the shower cubicle to have light again for about 3 minutes. All in all, everything has been around for many years, but cabins have been built in the last few years.they look really nice - and more are to come.dogs are allowed. The main road is easy to hear, so it is better to choose a place further away.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Pascal T.February 2021PozitivaThe setting, the welcome, open all year, access to the beach and forest, price (€16 per pitch for 2 people with electricity).NegativaNothingunique placeAnd as experienced campers, we really enjoyed our stay, despite the winter and the confinement. - Andreas H.August 2019PozitivaFriendly owners. Short walk to the beach.NegativaLots of mobile homes. Smell from the compost containers.DisappointedWe were here for the 11th time this year in August. After the site changed hands, a large number of mobile homes were built here. To get a pitch today, you should book in good time for the new year. The advantage is that you can then reserve your pitch. However, as with a hotel, you then have to make... a deposit. The remaining amount must then be paid no later than forty days before the booked date. So far, as a camper, I have loved the fact that I didn't have fixed arrival and departure times at the campsite. The number of mobile homes available (which, according to the campsite operator, are set to increase) takes away the charm of the previous campsite for me. Last year I noticed that the hedges and bushes were not trimmed. Waste is now disposed of separately. Which is basically fine. However, other things are also thrown into the container intended for compost. So it is full of maggots and there is an unspeakable stench at the locations of these compost containers. The owner told me that he would like to introduce something like a children's animation next year. If this happens, I will unfortunately not be visiting the site again in the future.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Wilfried W.June 2019Good, cheap and quiet place, we are here for the 7th time. Always goodVery nice and well-kept campsite. We have been here for the seventh time since 2013 and will gladly come back next year. The staff are super friendly and courteous and the pitches are large enough, with water and waste water connections (comfort pitch). Built in terrace form.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Volker S.July 2018Pozitiva- the location! - friendly reception - spacious pitches - beach directly at the site - small supermarket and restaurant next doorNegativa- Street audible - at night partly music from open-air disco nearby - not all pitches with shadeNice smaller campsite by the seaGood location by the sea with direct access to the beach, good pitches, mostly with electricity, some with water and waste water, quite quiet, but the busy road is audible. Toilets without toilet paper, so bring your own!Automaticky přeloženo.
- daniel s.June 2018Pozitivathe proximity to the beach quiet clean pitchesNegativaopening hours sanitary facilities are not cleaned frequently not suitable for cycling as there is too much traffictop may come back next fall .apart from the sanitary facilities, which were not cleaned every day, everything was fine. unfortunately, the campsite is as full in june as it is in high season. it's a pity it's a pity it's not possible to make a reservation. !!!!!!!!!!! friendly staff! only the site visit should not be with an electric vehicle. we all have healthy legs, don't we?Automaticky přeloženo.
- Yeti Y.August 2017PozitivaNice for relaxing. Close to the beach. Friendly staff. Mini market on siteNegativaThis year the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities was not as good as in previous years.WonderfulWe have been going to this campsite since 2008. I think that says a lot. For us, it's like coming home. You can relax and unwind here. If you want to party, you've come to the wrong place. The staff are friendly and you are driven to choose a pitch in a golf cart. There are sunny and shady spots. The... beach is no more than 100 m away and it should be mentioned that the course is monitored at night. What we noticed this year, however, was that the sanitary facilities were cleaned a little less. However, it may also have been partly due to the guests who were there and the cleaning staff were overwhelmed. It is not far from the campsite to St. Tropez and a trip to Nice, Monaco and Antitibes is also worthwhile. One thing is for sure, we will be celebrating our anniversary there next year and going there for the 10th timeAutomaticky přeloženo.
- Jacob A.July 2017Baguette and croissant every morningThe campsite is very close to the water and there is an extra exit under the road that leads directly to the beach. There is a restaurant and a snack bar on the beach, and the beach is supervised. There is a restaurant and a small store right next to the campsite where you can buy crossaint, baguettes... etc. in the morning. Most of the pitches have their own water connection. The sanitary facilities are cleaned daily with a high-pressure cleaner. The neighboring villages of Les Issambres and Saint Aygulf can be reached by bike.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Fokko H.June 2016Beautiful place, super organization - recommendablea nice big place with separate pitches; very friendly reception (speaks very good German), with an electric cart you are driven over the place and can choose a pitch; through a gate you have direct access to the sandy beach; ideal for beach vacationers; unfortunately not suitable for the dog, the nearest dog beach is a bit further away and not so invitingAutomaticky přeloženo.

- Michael G.July 2015PozitivaLocation close to the beach, sufficiently large (comfort) pitchesNegativaNoise from the neighborhoodNice place, but with party noiseWe drove there at random in the middle of the high season and were offered three pitches, which we were able to view in advance. A beautifully terraced site with adequate sanitary facilities. German-speaking reception and friendly staff. The beach was close and crowded, the small dog beach was also not... far away and not very nice (coarse gravel and wood chips). If we hadn't had to put up with loud party noise from the neighborhood until after 3 a.m., we might have stayed longer than one night.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Wolfgang M.May 2015PozitivaParking spaces are spacious. Water connection and drainage well positioned.NegativaCalcified and not always clean sanitary facilities as well as excessive speed of the employees or the owner.Cleanliness and traffic safety on the PLatzThe shower heads urgently need to be descaled. The cleaning frequency of the toilets and showers needs to be increased significantly. The traffic safety on the campsite is inadequate, as the campsite staff drive around the campsite at significantly excessive speed. Our dog was even run over. The owner of the campsite did not apologize or express any regrets to us.Automaticky přeloženo.

- Stefan M.September 2014PozitivaDog exercise area Dog beach available generously proportioned comfort pitchesNegativaSanitary facilities Cleanliness of the pitches Noise from the coastal road and discoNo 4 stars for usWe were there in the second week of September - and were surprised how full the campsite was in the low season. Here's a tip: make sure you book in advance (even in low season!!) - luckily we called a day in advance and the reservation went smoothly - we were allocated a large comfort pitch, which was... partly shaded. (We would definitely recommend a comfort pitch - costs 2 euros more in low season but is much bigger). Arrival and departure is possible every day - just let us know one day in advance that you are leaving the next day. (You can therefore call the day before to make a reservation for the next day). Overall, our pitch was in a nice location - but there was a real lack of cleanliness: there were used tissues (or toilet paper), foil and an old bra in the bushes on our pitch. The reception is German-speaking. We were traveling with a tent - which unfortunately means that you can hear all the noise very clearly. As we were there in the low season, we were "lucky" that the disco was only open on Friday/Saturday - but unfortunately you can hear it at full volume. Even worse, however, were the drunken party guests who drove along the coastal road with loud honking horns. Speaking of the coastal road: unfortunately, you can hear it very loudly! Even at night, motorcyclists and trucks speed along - unfortunately, you can also hear them extremely loudly at night, as well as the garbage trucks and glass container trucks.... Otherwise, the campsite was pleasantly quiet - which was probably also due to the fact that in the low season it is mainly an older crowd (according to the neighbors, there were young party people at the campsite just a week before...). We found the sanitary facilities took some getting used to at first - there are two wash houses. One seems older and unkempt - this standard would not have been good enough for us. However, there is a larger, more modern-looking wash house at the front of the reception - this is okay. There is no hand washing soap and toilet paper - you have to organize this yourself and bring it with you every time you go to the toilet. Regarding cleanliness: this varies from day to day - it is probably only cleaned once a day with a Kärcher (around lunchtime) - unfortunately this means that (depending on the hygiene of the current campsite visitors) it was sometimes difficult to find a clean toilet in the morning. At the beginning we had some problems finding our way around the sanitary facilities and the cleanliness - but you have to say, it takes some getting used to but then it's really okay. There is a very large exercise area for dogs - it's really great for dogs. There is also a dog beach - a few meters further from the campsite (over the coastal road and maybe 100 m further). Unfortunately, the dog beach is also not so clean - there were baby diapers, plastic bottles etc. on the edge. There is a small supermarket at the campsite where you can buy the essentials (fruit, baguettes...). Our conclusion: you can definitely visit this campsite as a short-term stopover - we wouldn't visit it again for a longer stay. Overall, we would not give it 4 stars.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Hanna S.August 2014PozitivaThe sea is close enough to touch.NegativaYou can't sleep in some places. The toilets should be cleaned more often and stocked accordingly. Rstaurant would be good.An El Dorado for disco-goers and beach sheet fetishistsWe were there in August and were horrified. Although we had tried to find a shady, large, comfortable pitch very early on (March), none had been reserved for us. We were fobbed off with a pitch that was far too small and had to move the following day. The form of communication takes some getting used... to, you could even say: flippant. Some of the seats are very comfortable. We were also given one with a water connection and a few trees for shade. However, at night you could not only hear the nearby coastal road traffic, but also the two discotheques located on the beach, which never missed a night. It was pure hell. After the last drunks had finished their roaring orgies and started their cars at around 3 a.m., it took an hour and a half for the garbage collectors to arrive and loudly empty the camping containers. After that, the "normal" Mediterranean coastal traffic pushed forward again and it wasn't long before campers setting off (there are no fixed arrival and departure days) destroyed what was left of the night's rest. There is a small store on site that sells the bare essentials at fantasy prices. Fruit and vegetables depend on the day, so are only of limited use at high temperatures. Unfortunately, there is no restaurant on site. The "Windy" is rather windy and offers strange pizza variations at big city prices. The beach is full and if you like, you can enjoy the sight of the various beach towels. The saddest thing, however, is the way in which complaints and suggestions are dealt with. Apart from the fact that there is no toilet paper or hand washing detergent at this "4-star" campsite, you wait in vain for a campsite map when you arrive. You are also not informed about the peculiarities of the pitches when you choose your pitch, but are instead whizzed around the site in your camper van at breakneck speed (10 km/h is required, but apparently not for the campsite operators). None of this is hospitable. On the contrary, especially as the very German-speaking campsite contact person never tired of explaining that we had "arrived in reality", that the prices were low and that we were free to leave at any time. Thank you very much. We left and will not be coming back. By the way: if you are put on hold dozens of times for the obligatory telephone confirmation of your reservation, this is because they are "chronically understaffed" (quote from the campsite) and therefore just let the phones ring...Automaticky přeloženo.
- Thomas F.July 2014PozitivaGreat location, very nice placeVery close to the camper paradiseWe spent a wonderful summer vacation here for almost 3 weeks in July 2014. We received confirmation by email in advance that a place had been reserved for us. The way the stay is handled is rather unusual: you stay as long as you like and pay before you leave. This definitely gives you flexibility. We... received a very friendly welcome on arrival. The lady spoke excellent German. Other members of staff speak very good English, so there were no communication problems. New guests are first driven around the site in an electric vehicle and are allowed to choose a pitch. There are even pitches with a sea view in the upper area, but they didn't offer enough shade for our taste. The pitches vary greatly in size; there are both very large and very small ones. Ours was very large and nicely shaded. We found it very nice that the pitches are fenced in with high hedges and that the Comfort category has water, waste water and electricity connections. There is a small store at the campsite where you can buy almost anything (albeit for a steep price) - the baked goods were really tasty. For bulk shopping, there are shopping centers in nearby Frejus as well as discount stores such as Lidl and Aldi. There is also a restaurant on site, which attracts customers with a daily special for around €15. We tried it - we weren't really impressed. The sanitary facilities were OK. They are never cleaned, but they are cleaned vigorously once a day. I've never seen that before :) Towards the end of the vacation, when the place was getting fuller and fuller, we would have liked the facilities to be cleaned more often (however). Overall, we thought the site would benefit from a fresh coat of paint. The campsite has its own access to the beach via a side entrance. The beach is OK, although not a dream beach - but very crowded at weekends and certainly throughout August. There is a dog beach just a few 100 meters away in the direction of Les Issambres, which our dog loved! All in all, it's very nice to go for a walk, and the campsite even has a fenced-in walk forest at the back. But you can also go for a long walk in the mountains outside the campsite. I would like to share the following tips with you: It is advisable to position the camper van so that the awning faces the sea. During our stay, the mistral came up twice and it was really strong. Some of our neighbors who pitched in the opposite direction spent the night saving their awning, holding poles, hammering in extra pegs and storm straps, etc. And that brings us to the next topic: you've lost with normal steel or plastic pegs. You should definitely have enough good rock pegs (nails) with you and secure the awning properly with storm straps right at the start so that nothing can happen with the Mistral. In addition to the mistral, there were 2 other sleepless nights for us: during our stay, the disco on the beach was only open twice (thank goodness). The first time, the bass thumped in the southerly wind until around 3:30am and the second time it only really turned up around 3am - the finest techno music was played until 5:30am. A neighbor who had just arrived thought it was standard and left straight away. I also found it negative that the playground was very small and the kids mainly had to play on the paths. We went on some very nice excursions. We particularly liked Cannes. We particularly recommend the coastal road from Saint-Raphael to Cannes. There are super idyllic beaches along the red rocks. Pack your swimming gear in the car and spend some time at one of the dream bays!!! We traveled to Saint-Tropez from the port in Les Issambres by boat for €15 per person there and back. This saves you the obligatory traffic jams in high season. Nice and Monaco are also must-sees and are easily accessible by car. Port-Grimaud and Saint Raphael are also worth a trip. We didn't make it inland to Provence this time, but we'll bear that in mind next time. Especially as there are no cycle paths (except for a few 100 meters at the campsite), we could have left our 21" camping bikes at home. We didn't even feel like cycling to the neighboring village of Saint-Aygulf on the busy, narrow main road. In general, however, we really enjoyed our stay. This was also due to the fact that it is somehow a particularly nice campsite. We've never had so many nice neighbors. The guests are from all over the world: mainly Dutch, of course, then in gradations: Germans, Danes, French, Belgians, Italians, Austrians, Swiss etc. The Cote D'Azur just has that special flair. And this campsite is certainly one of the best here in our opinion: No entertainment and lots of frippery and, as the name suggests, very close to a camper's paradise. We will certainly return here and are already looking forward to it.Automaticky přeloženo.
- EvaHolger S.June 2014Quiet campsite close to the beachWe spent 9 nights here with our two small children. The short walk to the beach via an underpass under a road is nice. There are two small playgrounds, one for smaller children and one for slightly older children. The comfort pitches are very well equipped (washbasin on the pitch), the sanitary facilities... are nicely designed (like the open courtyard in an old Roman house, with fountain and palm trees), the staff are friendly. Unfortunately, the ACSI discount is only available for standard pitches, of which there don't seem to be too many, the cost of Wi-Fi was quite high (we ended up booking a week for €15 because that was the cheapest option), and it was also extremely slow. All in all, however, we really liked it here.Automaticky přeloženo.
