The optimal location for the gorge. There is no store, but there are several fireplaces and a pub where you can eat something. There is also enough wood for the fireplace. Wash houses are okay. Good cycle path that starts at the campsite. You just stand somewhere. It's fine.

Friendly campsite on a noisy road
The reception was friendly and the staff speak good English. The campsite has plenty of flat areas for camping.
Wonderful hiking trails are easily accessible from the campsite, even by bus.
The kitchen and sanitary facilities are clean, unfortunately the showers are so small that you have to step in... front of them to dry off. As the kitchen is directly adjacent to the shower rooms, this takes some getting used to.
A public cycle path runs through the campsite, which is very busy at weekends.
The busy road right next to the campsite is annoying, especially at weekends the noise is hard to bear during the day. It is much quieter at night.

Big hustle and bustle, outdated cemp, token showers, no entertainment or summer amenities.....
Very poor conditions for a cemp right next to the road and no water reservoir
The campsite is interesting but not for some summer activities or to meet people and families. Overall there was boring , no music without any events either for kids or adults. There was consistently noise from cars and little room for tents and zero food. The Lídl shop was up to 4 km away in Terchova.... Another huge drawback was the showers which were on tokens you had to buy and difficult to deal with and when the token ran out the unlucky woman with long shampooed hair could give it up straight away. I would not recommend a stay for young children at all, there are not even proper climbing frames, only the pool which is in a terrible state, dirty and horribly cold water. I would not go here again.

Lovely campsite, with a wonderful little petting zoo, a swimming pool and good facilities. Staff exceptionally helpful when our car had a flat battery. Great base for hikes in Mala Fatra NP

Very welcoming, ideal for hiking from Cherchova. There is a mini-farm on the campsite. Clean facilities, with gas stove, microwave, etc. available and included in the price. Washing machine at extra charge. At night it's cool, so bring your own heating or warm sleeping bags.

Very well-kept, clean site. Plenty of space for camping and good infrastructure. The shower facilities could be improved in terms of privacy when showering. The only annoying but still tolerable thing is the busy connecting road along the campsite. The road is life-threatening for pedestrians and cyclists... due to its narrow width and the local risky driving style. The surrounding area is very attractive and the proximity to many tourist destinations makes up for the road. The site itself is very spacious and suitable for all types of caravans and motorhomes. The solution for disposing of gray water and faeces is very positive.

very nice campsite especially if you want to walk in the mountains near the valley, terchova, strecno castle, and other possibilities for hiking really great....ps.that year we didn't get there :-(

Well maintained spacious new campsite along the river. Main road is close but not so disturbing. Perfect point for hiking in Fatra park(own car).Children entertainment- mini zoo(rabbits, cats, sheeps, goats, parrots, pigeons) Two horses for rent. Nice small pond with trouts- possible fishing. Kids playground. Fire places allowed. Small buffet. We were very satisfied and will come again.
