Taco S.srpen 2024PozitivaWhat a special campground is Bagoto Suma. Great. We are always looking for nice, small, cozy campsites. Bogata Suma scores high on our list. A narrow, adventurous path led us to this beautiful campground. Its friendly, casual, back-to-basic atmosphere attracts people from all over the world. Barbara and Peter are sympathetic and helpful owners. Nice and no nonsense. It is clear to see that they have put their heart and soul into the campground. They manage and cultivate the land in a sustainable way. All sorts of things grow. We found the grounds to be atmospheric and idyllic. Simplicity at its very best. Spacious spots give you privacy and shade. And when the sun is down a beautiful starry sky appears. The surroundings are beautiful. You can have dinner with them and their volunteers (always fun at the table and great food from their garden!) and you can buy eggs, fermented food or fresh vegetables. They also make yogurt, kefir and kombucha themselves!

Lots of birds and other wildlife!Negativa-Wonderful camping in natureWe had a wonderful stay at this eco campsite! The spots are big, you don't have to see your neighbors, and if you like you can make a small campfire. It is really quiet and at night you can see many stars.
They separate and recycle all garbage and food scraps go to the dog or the chickens.
You can eat... with them on a big table on the terrace, for a reasonable price. They cook with ingredients from the garden and the terrain. You drive up a hill through the forest, and on top you find a few houses and this campsite. It is family owned, the son (17) cooks delicious food with ingredients from the garden and the daughter (11) is a fantastic playmate!
It is a beautiful spot for walks, cycling, making trips... to this forgotten communist monument on Petrova Gora and to the Plitvice lakes and waterfalls.
They don't have a swimming pool (or a natural swim pond would be more appropriate on this eco farm) but there is a beautiful river close by.
The other guests were all nature lovers, adventurous travelers and nice.
