I found the prices a bit high for the size of the pitch.
Well located campsite for a stay in Calpe
The campsite is located in the center of Calp(e). The beach can be reached on foot in about 5-8 minutes, as can the old town. You can also go on excursions into the surrounding countryside.
All in all, a campsite with a little more action, lots of leisure activities in the area and entertainment for... the children. It certainly won't be boring. However, if you are looking for peace and seclusion, you should probably go somewhere else.
The biggest downside was the restaurant, which only served frozen food. But that wasn't too bad as there are so many good restaurants within walking distance.
The biggest plus was definitely the huge supermarket right in front of the entrance, where you could buy everything at normal prices.

CalpeMar is a small, beautiful place with minor flaws
This was our second time on the site, the first time we had no experience of camping. So everything was great. This time, with a bit of experience, you notice the differences and make comparisons. - The lighting in the sanitary facilities is not bright enough for me, the kerbs to the pitch are high,... the electricity consumption is recorded and billed at the end of the stay, it is noisy during the day, building materials trade in the neighborhood and construction sites. The place is still very good but with restrictions. The proximity to the town and beach is still positive, and there is an entertainment program on offer. It's informal, we Germans would say it's cozy. We can recommend the campsite with a clear conscience.

Positive only at second glance. Initially off-putting with high-rise residential buildings (15) all around, 2 of which are directly adjacent, plus the driveway behind a building materials warehouse. First reflex reaction: we'll go straight on tomorrow. But then we discovered the good location to the... beach promenade, barely 2 minutes by bike, and the excellent sanitary facilities, plus the urban environment with lots of stores nearby, the second beach with hotels, the old town further up and the large weekly market on Saturdays, so we stayed for a few days. Pitches in three price categories, €16, €19 and €21 with an ADAC CampCard. Almost only motorhomes, very few caravans. Very good sanitary facilities, all showers with hand showers. One complete washroom each for men and women with shower, washbasin and toilet. Toilets with toilet seat, paper and brush. Super internet reception! WLAN after hours, interruptible. 10 h 5€, 3 h 2€. Inexpensive, simple parking space nearby: odissea Camper Area at the Aldi supermarket.

If you are looking for a place surrounded by high-rise buildings and construction site noise, this is the place for you! The site looks like a parking lot with a foil roof. The construction workers can watch wonderfully from the skyscrapers - if you like that, this is the place for you! We drove on straight away!

Not only the approach to Calpe is impressive, but also the campsite. It offers everything a modern campsite should have according to the latest guidelines. It's about 400 m to the public beach, but the view of the imposing cliffs makes up for it. Very clean sanitary facilities. As the site is only a... few years old, you can see that the latest findings in camping sport have been incorporated. Unfortunately, the weather didn't play along as we wanted, so we drove further south.
