Ok for a short stay
Nice place with friendly staff. Unfortunately the lake is not as close as the name suggests. It's about 2km on foot or by bike to the nearest bathing area, partly without a footpath along the country road (but little traffic).

The washrooms are typical of the country, simple but clean. A few more hooks... and shelves in the shower would be nice.

The site itself offers many pitches with shade. Permanent campers in mobile homes and mobile campers are well mixed.

Overall, the site gives the impression that it could do with a bit of renovation. I'm far from expecting everything to be 'tip top' like in an allotment garden association, but the doors in the washrooms close and open with difficulty, there is some building rubble in the corners and the pool area doesn't look great either.

Still good for a few days.

Note 1: The floor of many pitches is made of clay. Presumably this quickly turns into a muddy desert when it rains.

Note 2: Google directs travelers to roads at the back of the site that are barely passable for caravans and motorhomes. The main entrance is well signposted on the Route Departemental between a restaurant and a few stores (signposted 'Piscine') and is illuminated in blue at night.

Very nice campsite incl. lots of shade and very large pitches for caravans and tents as well as motorhomes. To the lake it is about 2 km and to the sea 24 km. animation was only on Saturday until 1.00 o'clock at night, after that it was very quiet like the rest of the week. The small restaurant made... an effort in the evening to offer its few guests local cuisine.the best were the pizzas that you could also take away.sanitary facilities were old but clean but there were opening hours for the showers from 6 - 22.30 The swimming pool was clean and there were also sun loungers.in front of the entrance to the campsite there is a delicious bakery, within walking distance. And very close by there is Léclair, Intermarche, Aldi and Lidl (supermarkets) where you can buy all the groceries you need.
