- Guntram H.September 2022PozitivaVery flat terrain and large plotsNegativaLittle shade. Showers closed between 12 and 5 pm!!!!beautiful location on a wide beachThe overall impression is not bad at first, but there are some things that are not really positive. For example, the showers were closed between 12 and 5 pm. The sitting toilets are "children's" size. The town is only reasonably accessible via the beach. The much-praised restaurant was already closed.... However, there was an acceptable restaurant in the neighborhood.
The place is well suited for excursions. Bonifacio or Corte are within easy reach, as is the Col de Bevalla.Automaticky přeloženo. - Richie B.June 2019PozitivaMultilingual Friendly Extensive Ideal location for motorcycling and pump hoppingNegativaNo climate in the MHPerfectWe were here as a motorcycle couple in 2019. We liked it very much. We will definitely come back here again. The reception is multilingual and friendly. Bungalow sufficiently equipped, but lacks air conditioning. Ideal location, small, nice restaurant. Fits.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Jürgen M.June 2019PozitivaPeace and quiet, relaxed atmosphereNegativaThe proximity to a busy roadA must every yearWe went there for the first time 6 years ago. Every year since then. A super relaxed place with lots of peace and space. Located directly on the beautiful beach of Côte des Nacre, it's our favorite place in Corsica.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Simone H.September 2018PozitivaSea (salt water) and river (fresh water) close together, pitches right by the sea, everything clean and totally friendly staff!NegativaPerhaps not so great for small children, although there is a playground. Our favorite campsiteEvery year we come to Corsica by camper van and explore our favorite island with our three four-legged friends. And the CP Cores des Nacress is a MUST on our route. Super-friendly staff who are always on hand! Mega pitch right on the beach! Delicious food right next door! Want to stroll around the harbor?... No problem, everything is within walking distance. The Solenzara River is also close by, where the dogs can bathe in the salt water and run around off the lead...we've never experienced a more relaxed place. 👍👍👍Automaticky přeloženo.
- Dirk B.August 2016We were very disappointed in every respect! Website photo misleading! We booked and paid weeks in advance. We were promised a shady and quiet spot at our direct request; instead it was a sunny spot right next to the garbage cans, where of course there was a constant coming and going. Nevertheless, we were charged €10 for the reservation, which we had not been informed... of in advance! After complaining, we were told to set up our large tent and all the accessories for one day, then take it down again and move. The newly offered pitch was right next to a kind of bulky waste dump and next to the wash house. After paying the deposit, we were informed by email that we would receive confirmation after 10 days. This came after a further 2 inquiries on my part. The worst thing, however, was the fact that the stony(!) and quite wild beach there was absolutely unsuitable for small children, if not even DANGEROUS for non-swimmers due to the strong waves on this ground! Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities also left a lot to be desired, the toilets are designed for both sexes, and since they are easily visible from the outside in both the upper and lower areas, they are absolutely unsuitable for women and without any real clean privacy.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Thorsten B.September 2015PozitivanoneNegativaCleanliness on the pitchSimple campsite without flairWe only stayed at the campsite for one night because we didn't feel comfortable. There was no spark. We found it to be the worst place on our round tripAutomaticky přeloženo.
- Paul P.August 2015Pozitivadirectly on the beach, nice little village next doorNegativaplenty of space, but also many guests and limited shade when occupancy is highCamping Côte Des Nacres***great location right on the wide sandy beach! nice staff, prices ok. lots of things to do all around. to the town center on foot approx. 10 min, supermarket 20 min. the site is large and touristy, in the high season the good pitches are rather scarce. the preference for mobile homes, which block the... view of the sea in rows, is also not so great, but at the end of august 2015 it wasn't too crowded. shady pitches are quickly gone, the rest have to bruzzle. but the location is really perfect and makes up for a lot!Automaticky přeloženo.
- Steven J.June 2014PozitivaDirect beach location, many river bathing spots nearbyBest beach location with mountainous hinterlandVisit to the CP at the beginning of June. Very friendly welcome at reception (also spoke German). I was allowed to choose my own pitch. As part of the site was still closed, there wasn't much choice. The shady pitches were all taken. Instead, I had a spot right on the beach with a sea view. Disadvantage... there: When the sun is shining, it gets pretty hot in the tent and bus from 8am and there were numerous ant trails - so don't leave any food lying around. Advantage: In heavy rain, the water seeps away immediately and you are not standing in the mud. However, if you camp on the beach, you need very long tent pegs! Pitches very level overall. Sufficient power supply. However, a 50m cable is recommended. Access to the campsite is via a barrier. It was easy to get onto the pitch until midnight. The sanitary building is of an older design. No gender separation and no individual wash cubicles. Cleanliness was ok. Always depends on the guests. Water for washing dishes was only cold. Good if you have a kettle with you. Small market at the reception. Baguette and croissant orders possible. Nearest supermarket at the end of Solenzara. The restaurant on the beach opened at the beginning of June. However, it was not yet very inviting. The beach is wide and somewhat coarse-grained. It goes steeply into the water. There is a high ropes course next to the campsite (was still closed). Solenzara itself is quite desolate. The village could not be reached via the beach because the Solenzara was still carrying too much water. The river valley was all the more beautiful. Numerous hiking opportunities. Many beautiful river bathing spots. The Bavella circuit is a must! Bonifaccio can be reached in 90 minutes. To Porto-Vecchio approx. 1 hour. However, according to reception, it is fully booked during the vacation season. It is advisable to book in advance.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Philip K.July 2013Great campsite right by the sea with great bathing opportunities at the mouth of the river and a beautiful beach. Perfect starting point for excursions into the Solenzara valley; super quiet; very friendly staff who now also speak English and German;Automaticky přeloženo.
- Alex S.May 2013A very nice campsite in a great location, the mouth of the Solenzara into the Mediterranean is on the campsite grounds. In the low season it was neither empty nor overcrowded, but just right for a family vacation due to the location by the sea (long sandy beach) + proximity to great mountain hiking opportunities... (30-45 min by car). The rental accommodation is well equipped and in very good condition, the staff are friendly and at times there was even a German-speaking member of staff (which suited my limited knowledge of French very well).Automaticky přeloženo.
- CELINE D.July 2012A perfectly located campsite: - you can see the sea from your tent, at last a campsite where you don't have to cross the road to get to the beach. - it's very close (on foot from the beach) to the town where you'll find all the services, small shops, bars and restaurants.... Small convenience store in... the campsite. Nice, large, uncrowded beach. 2 small drawbacks: €3.70/day for electricity for a cooler, which is a bit expensive, and in the showers, no hooks or saddles to put your things ... on the ground, which isn't ideal. To finish on a high note, the pitch is 10m by 10m, so there's plenty of room, and you're not all on top of each other, which is a big plus. Beautiful regionAutomaticky přeloženo.
