"beautiful place - We are a couple traveling alone with a caravan. This place was ideal for us: no fancy stuff, no swimming pool, no bouncy castle, no noise from a bar in the evening, just camping. The pitches are not parceled out, but due to the arrangement of the trees and bushes they are. Very pleasant. The whole site is grass, no gravel, no mud, just well maintained. The sanitary facilities are clean and sufficient. The toilets are without toilet seats, so that the standing pee-pees have left their mark everywhere. A pissoar would be a good remedy here. We would love to come back.

"Uitstekende ligging - De camping ligt aan de doorlopende kustweg, vlakbij een supermarkt en het centrum van het stadje. Dat maakt dat alles gemakkelijk lopend te bereiken is. Het voorste gedeelte wordt gebruikt voor campers en caravans, het tussen gedeelte voor kampeerders met tent en de rest voor stacaravans. He is deels goede en deels wat minder schaduw. Het was ook mid juli niet erg druk, dus plaats genoeg. Het personeel was steeds uiterst vriendelijk. Er is een oud sanitair gebouw, waarschijnlijk de reden voor de slechte commentaren, en een gloednieuw gebouw. Brandschoon. Er is WiFi en overal stroom. Er is geen restaurant, die zijn er plenty aan de kade van het stadje, en er komt drie keer in de week een pizza wagen. De ligging als uitvalsbasis voor het bezichtigen van de streek perfect. Kortom, een relatief eenvoudige maar prima camping met een uitstekende ligging.

"Simple town square - The CP is located on the through road. However, the background noise is limited. It is quiet at night. The camping area for tourists and a few permanent campers is located at the front of the site. The pitches are numbered and parceled out without any significant separation and are mostly on level grass, partly shaded by individual trees. In the rear part of the site there are only pitches with mobile homes. The sanitary building effectively separates the two parts of the site. The building probably dates back to the better days of the campsite and has the charm of a concrete bunker. A concrete staircase leads up from the outside, where there were obviously recreation rooms or something similar. Also accessible from the outside are several "cells" located behind shed doors, behind which there used to be toilets (no longer in use). The disposal facility for the chemical toilet is located in one of these cells. The condition and equipment - highly questionable. The room for washing dishes and laundry was equally questionable. The pipes, some of which were rusty or painted in different colors, were more reminiscent of an old industrial facility. The actual sanitary area was probably modernized and completely furnished in one room without separation (woman / man). There are 5 toilets and then 5 showers. Opposite free washbasins. The sanitary facilities were always clean. During our stay, the site was not very full, so there were never any bottlenecks in the sanitary facilities. The pitches were relatively level and of different sizes, so you could easily find a suitable pitch for yourself. There are no amenities or a store. There is a supermarket within walking distance, about 300 meters away. The town center and the harbor are also within walking distance. The campsite is a good starting point for exploring the landing beaches and other sights. Whether it is a place for a vacation stay of several weeks is up to you to decide. Incidentally, the photo of the entrance to the campsite, which is shown on the campsite's website, is probably from a long time ago. The flowerbed and lane separation no longer existed in 2015. The staff and owners/operators were always friendly and with a little English, communication was easy. You can pay with EC and credit cards.
