The friendliness of the administrator.

The dirty unsanitary toilets and showers. The damp climate in the underground toilet building. And the mold on the wall in the showers. In addition, the absurdly high price for this campsite without any service. No bread in the morning. No store and no ice creams.
Camping de Moratel in decline
Since 2008 we have visited the camping de Moratel for many years. Sometimes two times per year. Nowadays the campsite is not indicated in Google anymore. The recent information can be found on the website of the harbour authorities:

Same as all campsite visitors we are very... disappointed in finding "our camping" in decay.
For CHF 45,50 you get a dirty toilet building, where cleaning is only done very occasionally. Not hygienic at all!
No bread supply in the morning, no shop and no ice cream. As it used to be.

How dare SPBMC ask this rediculous high amount of money for this very poor service?

One good thing to mention is the friendliness of Mr. Giulio GRASSETTO, the concierge.
Hopefully some other person soon feels responsible for the cleanliness and hygiene! At least once, better twice a day, the toilet building needs to be inspected AND CLEANED!
As it used to be done by Corine and François.

A reasonable price for this camping, in this condition and without any service, would be less than CHF 30 per night. Including electricity.

It seems that SPBMC is doing all effort to
chase away any future visitors as well as their regular guests.

location, clean and very friendly owners!

Loved loved loved it
Blessed campsite! Top stay had, the owners are so friendly and helpful. The location is ideal, very close to Lausanne ( I recommend taking the train, so easy and cheap), beautiful location on the lake, nice villages/towns nearby. And of course clean toilets and showers!

Ideal location on the lake, good connections and shopping facilities in the village.
Negativa
The railroad noise is disturbing.
Small space with many possibilities
The site does not have very many pitches. But the possibilities from this site are enormous. The train connections to Lausanne or Vevay and Montreux are ideal. The village center offers plenty of shopping opportunities and a wide selection of good restaurants.

Na břehu jezera, výhled na kopce s vinicemi, přátelské a čisté prostředí

V celku rušná železnice
Malý kemp na riviéře
Nádherné místo na břehu Ženevského jezera, pod vinicemi, na kraji malebného městečka Cully. Dojem trochu kazí blízký železniční koridor, ale vše nahrazuje přátelské prostředí a čistota. Na recepci je praktický obchod, ve kterém si můžete objednat čerstvé pečivo na druhý den ráno. Kousek od kempu je i restaurace.
