- Elvira V.srpen 2024PozitivaThe oasis with the terrace and view of the lakeNegativaPlots too close together and without boundariesStay as a dog ownerWe stayed at this campsite again this year. It was supposed to be 2 nice weeks, but this time it turned out to be horrible for dog owners. Our dog occasionally failed to do her "little" business in the dog toilet (too far away) or outside the campsite (the same distance). She has learned to do her business... in the bushes or at the edge of a hedge, never on plots, paths or lawns, which works perfectly. She always does the big business outside the grounds and if she doesn't, I always have dog bags with me. Several campers (Germans and Dutch) insulted us with such cheeky words, asking what we would think of letting the dog pee there etc... we would then have to put pampas on her or better still, not visit the site.
The annoyance at such rude "campers" not only took away our vacation enjoyment. We were glad to have found another campsite where people and dogs were very welcome. We will never visit this campsite again.Automaticky přeloženo. - Christian L.červenec 2024PozitivaNudism is always great beautiful beach and lakeNegativaRather expensive for the "lodge" Sanitary building draughty and too "open" for us Snack bar closed throughout Store virtually non-existent High extra costs for "measly" saunaToo little for too much moneyWe were in Elsendorp for three nights and had a "lodge", a wooden hut with a bed in it. Four nights were planned, but after the third we wanted to go home.
Around 70 euros per night is quite a lot of money for just staying overnight, but we would have been happy to pay it. Unfortunately, we found the... description of the "lodge" very euphemistic: for us, "kitchenette" is something other than a fridge with a tray of dishes and a kettle. "Partly covered veranda" is cheeky for a minimal overhanging roof projection. You couldn't sit there dry when it rained. Why not be a little more honest in the descriptions?
The sanitary building we used was clean, but draughty in cool weather. As staunch naturist fans, we love being naked and have no problems with it, we don't necessarily have to watch others showering or listen to others using the toilet while washing up.
Despite the high season, the snack bar was closed all the time. The restaurant was open, but didn't offer any snacks or cakes, for example. The so-called "store" was a small shelf.
As there were no other places to stay, we usually sat naked at the table in the swimming pool in cool weather and read or played chess. There were no other rooms.
10 euros per person for two hours in the sauna is sporty, half an hour away there is a whole day in a large sauna area for just over 20 euros.
I might have understood the price if they had all been open and the sauna included in the price, and the area might have provided justification. The site is on a quite audible road, the nearest town Gemert is just under 10 km away - but quite charming!
Conclusion: no, not anymore.Automaticky přeloženo. - Alex S.srpen 2023PozitivaIndoor swimming pool, sandy beach by the lake, WLAN outside the caravan okNegativaSanitary facilities need getting used to, 6Ah electricity, permanent and tourist campers mixed up, tiny storeQuite ok, but very minimalist by Dutch standardsUnfortunately, there aren't that many naturist campsites in the Netherlands, so we gave Elsendorp a try. The pitches are nicely laid out, usually 6-7 pitches in a square. It's a shame if there are 5 permanent campers who aren't there and you're pretty lonely. We like it when we have neighbors and can... get into conversation. That's why we always find it more pleasant when permanent and tourist pitches are not mixed. Unfortunately, our pitch resembled a swampy area. As it rained on and off for several days, there was water on the meadow in front of our awning, it even pushed through the awning carpet so that we had to buy a tarpaulin to keep our feet dry in the awning. The sanitary facilities are a very airy affair as they are open at the top and bottom, as is the shower room. It is all one with a common roof which is not overhanging. So everything was clearly audible, whether showering, washing up or pooping. The rooms themselves are a bit outdated. They were not always clean, depending on the time of day.
The advertised store turned out to be a small room in the restaurant. The selection was correspondingly small and was essentially limited to sweets, wine, toilet paper and a few canned goods.
Bread rolls have to be ordered in advance. It is hard to believe that a store selling baked goods is not profitable in such a large place.
The snack bar was typically Dutch and okay. We didn't try the restaurant, but the price-performance ratio is said to be less than ideal.
The low power (6Ah) is no longer up to date by today's standards. Even when making coffee you have to check whether there is enough power. The indoor pool is not big, but it is a good change of pace, especially in bad weather.
The night's rest is not so strictly observed at events organized by the campsite, where the music sometimes drones on until after midnight, even on weekdays.Automaticky přeloženo. - Nicola G.červen 2023PozitivaNature Swimming Friendliness You can stay on the campsite all day on departureNegativaSanitary facilities WCTo relaxThe site is in the middle of nature. Beautifully laid out and the people are very friendly. Everything looks clean. The sanitary facilities are very basic. The toilet in particular needs to be changed. There is no privacy here. That's the only reason why we didn't want to stay longer than one night. The price is quite high for the standard.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Manfred W.srpen 2017PozitivaWell-kept, naturist, clean,NegativaLoud door slam, restaurant, 6 ampsGood structureHad a place at the sanitary building, this had the disadvantage that every toilet door that is closed penetrates to the place. The site has good supply and disposal facilities. Water/disposal and electricity on site, unfortunately only 6 amps. Sauna and children's entertainment as well as many events on site. Well-kept gardens and friendly, competent staff.Automaticky přeloženo.

A clean, well-kept site with friendly, helpful multilingual staff. In bad weather, the oasis with a swimming pool and sauna is inviting. - Sabine S.září 2016PozitivaPeace, relaxation, good food, lake with sandy beach + swimming pool, friendly and helpful staff. Contact person around the clock.NegativaFor us - NONERest and relaxation guaranteedMy husband and I have been going to the campsite for 3 years. So far always in the camping area. We have enjoyed many wonderful days of relaxation and peace and quiet. The lake and the sauna are big plus points. The sauna was turned on 3 times just for us and we were able to use the whole area + swimming... pool on our own, depending on need and demand. Since we feel very comfortable there, we bought a wooden chalet there 4 weeks ago. From now on we can go all year round and enjoy all the benefits. The site is very quiet, clean and all the staff are friendly and courteous. If you want to feel well looked after, this is the place for you.Automaticky přeloženo.
- U. B.květen 2016PozitivaFine-grained sandy beach, clear water in the bathing lake. Wifi at the pitch included, indoor pool + showers also included in the price. - Kim-Sascha D.září 2014PozitivaLocation, cleanliness, infrastructureNegativaAbsolutely no disadvantagesNudism in very beautiful surroundingsThis was my first naturist camping vacation and won't be the last. The campsite is beautifully situated in the middle of nature. There was a swimming lake right in front of our pitch, which was very pleasant and perfect for splashing around in. The staff are very friendly and helpful if you have any... problems with the Dutch-only signs. There is a restaurant on site, but I didn't visit it. The store on site offers everything you need quickly at fair prices. As I said, the pitch itself was right by the lake, surrounded by shady trees. Very nice. In the evening we could watch the rabbits frolicking around right next to our pitch. What more could you want? The whole area is clean and well-kept, you can take a relaxed stroll here and enjoy the sun on your naked body. You have to like naturism. If you like it, you can't go far wrong with this place. You can also get to the nearest town quickly by car (better dressed), where you can find everything you need. We will definitely be back.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Silke P.červenec 2014PozitivaCEE power connection at every pitch, children's entertainment very good Lake with island very beautiful, free wifi, parking lot on the premisesNegativaSanitary facilities dirty at peak times and very draughty in bad weather. Rest periods well, indoor pool very chlorinated, store very smallA wet dream or pure naturePlanned the vacation because of the children's fun. Unfortunately we had to pay in advance. After booking we had to find a lot of things in Dutch, after paying we got the German information, unfortunately we also had to choose the place, although we had never seen the campsite before. The terrain there... is very nice, many large trees and bushes, vehicle parking lot also on the grounds, so no fear of vehicle theft. Unfortunately the pitches were already very damaged by awnings and caravans, every time it rained our awning was under water. Very spacious grounds, inviting for naturist walks. Lake with fine-grained sand and water slide and its own island. Unfortunately we were not happy with some permanent campers as neighbors. Otherwise, the grounds are beautifully laid out.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Holger P.duben 2013Season starts as usual after Easter. The rental accommodation, as we had, can be rented all year round. The mobile homes are spacious, clean and comfortably furnished. Gas central heating provides pleasant warmth (preheated on arrival). It was known to be very cold at Easter (easterly winds). The kitchen... is well equipped. A TV is available (only main programs in German, otherwise Dutch.) A separate channel of the camping informs about the dates. Swimming lake with sandy beach clean, unfortunately not very inviting for us due to the cold temperature. brr. WiFI free of charge at the restaurant. WIFI is in preparation for the mobile homes. As there are also mobile homes sold to private individuals, there is sometimes a lot of car traffic on the small paths. Rather a minus point. The central parking lot is rarely used by the private mobile homes. Walking speed is not always observed. The janitor, who can be called at any time via the "emergency call" on the outside of the reception, is great. (Our smoke alarm was constantly beeping for no reason) Reception speaks German and of course Dutch. Excursions on foot and by bike are highly recommended. A very well-developed network of cycle paths with signs at every so-called Knooppunkt. Thanks to the ANWB! Conclusion: we have to go there in the summer.Automaticky přeloženo.
