- bi h.June 2023PozitivaNothingNegativaOld sanitary building, reception not particularly friendlyStopoverHad chosen the place as an overnight stop, the operator then came after some searching, somewhat unfriendly we were instructed a place, over 30 €, quite overpriced.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Yfra R.June 2023PozitivaNice well kept sites. Nice pond. Old but clean toilets. Friendly innkeeper.NegativaYou are only allowed 14h on the place, if you come earlier even if it is half an hour you have to pay half a day. So 1 night really became too expensive with 39 euros. And 11 o'clock you must be off your place. Most campsites are accommodating and allow you to enter when you arrive early. And 12h before departure is early enough. What do they do between 11h and 14h? Nothing at all. I don't find it acceptable to be so strict with arrival and departure times. Departure times are understandable in high season and ville booking. But there was not much going on now in June.Still priceyCourteous attitude contributes to good patronage. I have seen 3 people angrily drive away who arrived before 2pm. Paying half a day for half an hour is ridiculous.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Volker N.August 2022PozitivaGood pitches, beautiful locationNegativaSanitary facilities outdated and insufficiently availableLight and shadowFirst of all on the positive side: the site is easily accessible, has large pitches, each with a separate power supply. There is a small pub on the site and a pond.
The site is perfect for trips to Ghent, Bruges or Antwerp. Shopping facilities are available nearby. Water, electricity and shower included in the price.
Negatives: the sanitary facilities are outdated and too small for the size of the site.Automaticky přeloženo. - Delphine V.August 2021PozitivaFree bikes that you could use all the time. - thomas m.June 2019PozitivaProximity to Ghent Hiking trails (beautiful castle nearby) peace and quiet friendly and helpful ownersgreat starting point for a visit to GhentVery friendly operators, nice little restaurant/bar, sufficiently large pitches with firm grassy ground, lots of hiking and cycling opportunities. Sanitary facilities outdated (there is a somewhat newer container bathhouse) but clean. The Expo parking lot is recommended for visits to Ghent.Automaticky přeloženo.

- Jörg R.July 2016Beautiful placeThere are hardly any boundaries between the pitches, which may or may not be nice. The lawns were very well maintained.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Inma F.June 2016PozitivaA quiet and peaceful place.Negativawhen travelling with the public transport to the camping.Relaxing timeI have been to the camping for some days with my toddler daughter and husband. We really enjoy the place. The peace and quiet location. There's a beautiful village nearby and a history castle. The staff is very helpful. The site is clean. We stay In a cabin. Highly recommended.
- Andreas und Petra S.September 2015Nothing to complain aboutMedium-sized site with around 100 pitches. Very friendly reception, even German-speaking. We were free to choose our pitch. The ground consists of grass, which hardly formed any puddles despite constant rain and we didn't sink in with our motorhome. The pitches are generously sized and the ground is... level. Showers are free, as is the fast WLAN. There is a bread machine about 200m north-west with 5 types of bread. At our time, the newer wash house was closed due to construction work. The rating of the sanitary facilities therefore refers to the older wash house opposite the reception.Automaticky přeloženo.

- Joe S.July 2013Very friendly and helpful staff, good clean shower blocks that are well spaced apart
- Ron S.May 2013The objective was to travel in mid-May, 2 weeks through Belgium with the touring caravan and visit at least 3 campsites. On the website of several campsites in this part of Belgium, we oriented ourselves. What we noticed was that Camping Groeneveld in Deinze did not do so well in the reviews of visitors... and scored low. But because this campground was centrally located in the area we wanted to explore, we decided to stay here for 2 nights. The reception at Camping Groeneveld, by the managers, Linda & Marc Gysemberg was warm and enthusiastic. After the welcome we "inspected" the campsite. On this small-scale campground, half is reserved for permanent sites and the other half for (continuing) traveling vacationers. There are 2 toilet groups. The 1st toilet group is dated and the 2nd toilet group is a bit more contemporary. But what both toilet groups have in common, it is clean, the hot water jet is powerful, the stove burns (May) and the music provides a cozy atmosphere. What more could you want in a washroom. There is also a cozy indoor water at the campground where the fishing pole may be thrown out. The grounds are neatly tended and the trees are neatly trimmed, making sunny pitches (>80m2) available. Not unimportant is the cozy cafe/bistro with outdoor terrace. And when evening falls there is peace and quiet on the campsite. It soon appears that the enthusiasm and treatment of our managers Marc & Linda, is also passed on to the majority of visitors to this campsite. And so if you give it, you get it back. Marc & Linda are busy the whole day to make all visitors feel at ease. And as far as we are concerned, they more than succeeded. Instead of staying 2 nights at Camping Groeneveld we stayed 10 nights. We had a very pleasant time at this campsite. Where hospitality is a high priority. The only downside I could think of are the visitors themselves. When I see how we occasionally leave toilets, dishwashing facilities, etc. behind, it makes me think. Linda & Marc, thank you for this wonderful time when we could be your guests. We hope to see you again in July when we visit your campsite again to travel on to Spain. A big greeting from Rotterdam (Netherlands), Mo & Ron.Automaticky přeloženo.

- catherine l.August 2011Very pleasant stay in a peaceful natural setting. Marie-Jeanne and René are very welcoming. The sanitary facilities are few and far between, but spotlessly clean - you'd think you were at home. We'll treasure our memories of this stay, especially as the campsite is so well located.Automaticky přeloženo.
