    nice small quiet Cp
    The place is run by an older couple, very friendly and the woman also speaks some German. Lots of shady pitches but there are very few of them. The sanitary facilities and the whole site are very clean. It's the little things that make the place cozy. There is a bread roll service but the bakery is only 100m away. You have to drive a few kilometers to go shopping. The cycle path is about 500m away.

    Great campsite!
    Very nice campsite with mature trees, so lots of shady spots available.
    The operators are extremely friendly. There is no entertainment and so it is very quiet. The sanitary facilities are much better than expected for a 2-star campsite and very clean, which is ultimately more important to me. Overall,...

    Nice and simple
    A simple, totally nice place in the middle of Whir au Val - everything a bit older, but clean and looked after by a friendly couple - knowing some French helps though.

    A good starting point
    This beautiful little site with lots of trees is hidden in the middle of the village - perhaps a little difficult for large motorhomes. Very friendly service, sanitary facilities with everything you could wish for, bakery up the road, wine and other small items can be bought at reception. Ideal starting point for excursions to the Vosges and the wine route.

    A good week
    A good address from which to explore Alsace. The pitches are well sized so that the camper van and awning are always easy to park. Quiet and cozy despite the location in the center of the village. There is a great bakery just around the corner with everything a good bakery in Alsace has to offer. The butcher's shop is a minute further on. Drinks and wine are for sale on the square.

    A great place
    Cordiality is still a top priority here ;) . The whole place is super nice and very quiet. The operators are loving and very nice, which is also reflected on the site. We left our Wowa and awning alone for 3 days. When we returned on Friday, our awning had been reinforced because it had a water bag. Thanks to the operators that our tent was still standing and didn't fall victim to the storm.

    A week's rest on a small campsite where the family who run it make an effort to be eco-friendly. If you ask, they'll tell you something about the place and you'll soon have your private photo collection on the table.

    Beautiful small green campground
    Very friendly reception. Spacious pitches with plenty of shade. Very quiet despite being in the middle of the village. Good spacious sanitary facilities that are cleaned several times a day. Located very central for cycling, hiking, and car trips.

    Small but nice!
    Small campsite in a strategic location! Everything easily accessible in Alsace. Very limited sanitary facilities and small pitches when fully occupied. But everything very well maintained by the very friendly and hard-working operators. A lot of maneuvering and pushing with a long caravan. Not very quiet, as in the middle of the village - but acceptable. Very, very reasonably priced for what is on offer!

    Wonderful location in a family atmosphere
    Although in the middle of the village, this is a very quiet, family campsite. Beautiful pitches under trees. Starting point for hikes or excursions in the region with the nearby train. We'd be happy to return any time.

    Simple, beautiful, natural campsite. Although in the middle of the village it is wonderfully quiet and in the morning you wake up to birdsong. Small playground, table football, ping pong table. Clean sanitary facilities, but open, so in spring it was rather fresh after a shower :-). In a few minutes...
