Pool already closed in September; the Ain is not really suitable for swimming, CP not suitable for children in the low season
Light and shadow
Very quiet site; 4-5 aircraft take-offs (Lyon) per hour; only 30 meters to the Ain; during my visit the Ain was a cold, violent river: good for cooling off, completely unsuitable for bathing/swimming. Internet via external operator: expensive and good. Pool closed in mid-September despite 33 degrees.... Staff very friendly. Disadvantage: at my pitch there were masses of small, green beetles, the size of a thumbnail, completely harmless. But they like to crawl into every crack in the caravan. Even 4 weeks after the vacation, there was always a bug crawling around in the caravan. I visited Lyon from the campsite (30 minutes by train and 8 euros one way). Surroundings: rather monotonous (except for a grotto)

Beautiful campsite by the river
We felt very comfortable at the campsite. We had a large and shady pitch directly opposite the playground. The staff were always very friendly and helpful and the manager often walked around the site himself. The swimming pool is small, but it's enough to cool off in. However, we preferred to go to the... river and have a swim there. That was a dream. We believe that this campsite has improved a lot in recent years and will continue to do so. The sanitary building is old, but it was always very clean.

on the banks of the Ain with swimming pool
Beautiful tent meadow with partial shade. The sanitary facilities are a bit outdated but clean. There is a bar with (important this summer) cold beer. You can also eat there, but only frozen food. The operator was quite busy but friendly. On departure we had to look for him to be allowed to pay!
