We actually wanted to stay longer, but unfortunately left after one night due to the mosquito infestation.

Great surroundings and the path to the town square with cafés and restaurants under plane trees is very easy to reach on foot! Parceled pitches with direct access to electricity and water. Andreas und Petra S.May 20171A city campingThis site with 145 pitches is located about 400m from the beautiful town center of Maussane-les-Alpilles. The pitches are generously sized, separated by hedges and each has its own water tap. The ground is firm grass that can withstand heavy rain without becoming muddy. The reception is also the official... tourist information point for the village. Free choice of pitch if there is still space, as the pitch was already 90% full in mid-May. Wifi is available free of charge on the pitch, but reception is very poor. Barbecues are permitted. The wash houses are equipped with toilets without glasses, but with paper. There is a country road next to the site, which disturbs the peace and quiet. Laundry costs 3.80 and there is a dryer for 2.20. There are several bakeries, a Spar market and many restaurants in the village. Les Baux-de-Provence is about 5km away. Tennis courts, small playground, boules court and free swimming in the outdoor pool next door in summer are available. Small supermarket and 2 bakeries in the village. 3 sanitary blocks on the site,... 2 of which were open, but there is another one in a closed building (looked very new). Several sanitary buildings on the spacious site.in interesting surroundings, Les Alpilles, and almost in the center of MaussaneNot far to St.Remy, Avignon, Arles, Nimes, Les Baux de Provence, beautifully situated place in a remarkable village Maussane Les Alpilles. Shopping in the village is fun. Several restaurants on the square in front of the church, but at reasonable prices :-) The campsite is beautifully designed. Worth... mentioning because it is unusual: a well-stocked information desk with sufficient and good material on the surrounding area.
