The site is about 8-10 minutes from the bay! It's great for swimming, even with children. There are also two pools for swimming on the site. In the bistro you can eat cheaply and very tasty! Really great! The sanitary facilities are very clean and well maintained, even if they are not new. There is a small animal enclosure with goats and chickens.
Negativa
The pitches are unfortunately very close together. We had a pitch in the front garden of another family's vacation home! That's not so great.
Very close to the bay!
I think the location and the bistro are a real plus! We were 2 adults with a dog. Highly recommended.

We know the site under the following name: Camping-Antiochedoleron. Particularly noteworthy is the proximity to the guarded beach and the market, where you can do your shopping. There are 2 smaller swimming pools on the site, one of which is covered. The pools are about 10 meters long, so you can also... swim. There are also two small paddling pools and 2 small whirlpools. The kiosk on site is not recommended, but as the market is nearby this is not a bad thing. There is childcare in the morning, a bouncy castle and a small playground. The sanitary facilities are very good, large, comfortable showers and toilets. There are many mobile homes on the site, so the relatively small number of showers and toilets is still sufficient for the campers. We will certainly visit this site again.

I hope that this is the right place, as I have it on my invoice under Camping Antioche d'Oléron, www.camping-antiochedoleron.com, but only found this one in your list. If so, the following rating: Very friendly operators, some speak German, short walk to the beach, daily market in the village with everything your heart desires. Snack bar on site. There are lots of great things to do on the island.
