Sanitary building looks chic, but the shower is reminiscent of a steam bath (and that at 14 degrees outside temperature) the water flows in the showers under the partition wall through to the front room. Disgusting. In addition, the place was almost completely occupied during our stay, so that 4 showers and 5 toilets are not really enough. The spare container is an imposition. We paid €40.60 without electricity, which is completely excessive. When the new building is finished, it will probably be even more expensive... Operator not particularly friendly, when we wanted to drive out after paying, the barrier was not opened, although the operator could see us from the reception. You can't deal with criticism there! Therefore our conclusion: Never again!!!Once and never againOnce and never again ....

In this bathroom there were no grab rails on the toilet or in the shower. The washbasin stood on a wobbly wooden table. The ramp to the sanitary area is too steep.
The restaurant... is not accessible for wheelchair users.
There is no food to take away, and no exception was made for wheelchair users.

It was far too full, even former driveways have now been converted into parking spaces. You are not allowed to leave your car on the plot, but there are not enough parking spaces on the site, so you had to park outside the barrier. In addition... to the problems at the sani and the capacities described above, this time we also had the misfortune to meet the boss of the site. We were given a completely disproportionate dressing down because our weekly van was parked at a slight angle on the gravel surface and not correctly parallel to the surface. This is what you should expect from a campsite. The operator is extremely aggressive and nags at everyone and is not afraid to get violent. Even for completely stupid reasons, like parking 2cm too wide. It wasn't just us who were rudely accosted,... we also observed this with other campers on the right and left. We left after one night. Visitor registration does not work at all. You get snapped at even though you have done everything necessary as described in the house rules. Phone calls were always more important than serving the queue of customers. Only 4 showers and 5 toilets each for women and men, 5 washing-up areas with lukewarm water and a container with 2 cabins (shower, toilet and mini washbasin, all quite filthy) is far too little for a site with over 130 pitches. Even the former paved access roads appear to have been converted into pitches in order to maximize occupancy. Not a bad thing in itself, but then you have to make sure there are enough sanitary facilities. If you have to walk five times to get to the Tö, that's no fun. It also doesn't help if a huge building is under construction for all this.Once and never againWe didn't find the nearby highway and the train tracks on the other side of the Lahn problematic, but we don't have to have them again. Read on the homepage that no carpeting is allowed. This was fine for us as we had only booked for 3 nights. There was no other site plan or house rules to be found.... As we have 2 smaller dogs, we put up our small animal fence. The next morning at 8 o'clock there was a very rude thunder at our caravan. When my husband opened the door, the senior man was very rude and impertinent and said "the fence has to go". I asked why and he just barked that other dogs were peeing on the fence and that they had spent €6000 on grass seed last year and he wouldn't let them mess it up. I then said that I hadn't read that anywhere, just about the carpet. He barked again that it was in the house rules and left. 10 minutes later he was back at our place, slammed the site plan on our table with the house rules on the back and even took the trouble to use a highlighter to mark the sentence "the erection of fences is prohibited". He also shouted that 6 campsites (what, where?) would no longer allow dogs. They charge €6 a day for nothing, but they are happy to do so and if you looked around, every second camper had one or two dogs. In my opinion, handing out house rules with prohibitions on the day of arrival is not acceptable. If we had known that, we wouldn't have gone there. Two neighbors told us similar things, one of them had to take down and rearrange the awning and everything because they weren't standing in the middle of the gravelled area! It's no fun with dogs either, as there is only the cycle path outside the campsite for walking and every square meter is used for parking spaces. The path to the exit is quite a distance and as sorry as I was, our older dog ladies also had to pee on the pitch.Automaticky přeloženo.

The place is extremely expensive we had an XXL place where I stepped in the mud when getting out no attachment this place is completely overpriced costs 45 € plus storm plus 8.80 € per person... everything is charged extra to the place price. We were told to drive straight to the campsite and had to pay 7 euros for a 6-minute stay, for being kicked out, so to speak. Then he shouted angrily after us, "that's why nobody likes you Concorde drivers" and pointed at all the camper vans standing around. Very sad, as a campsite owner. On the other hand, the "big ones" bring him the most money, XXL pitches are expensive! An absolute no-go, not possible! We've never had an experience like this before! And as I said, the boss himself!Boss insults Concorde driverBoss doesn't like Concorde drivers and makes it very clear to them!

It is a quiet site close to the town which is within walking distance (15 min.). The cycle path along the Lahn is very easy to cycle in both directions.
There is a good restaurant on the square, everything... is fine.
To be honest, there is one minus. The sanitary facilities are too few for the large number of pitches (but new larger sanitary facilities are currently being built). They were very clean but a big problem - during the 4 days both entrance doors to the toilets and washrooms for women and men were broken and stood open so that you could look in. It is centrally located just a few minutes from Limburg city center. Even vehicles with trailers or large motorhomes have plenty of space on the XL pitches. The front pitches are a little more cramped, but still offer plenty of space. The Alpine hut is tastefully built and furnished in Alpine style. The reception staff were very friendly and uncomplicated. The rear sanitary building is new and stylishly furnished. Two new buildings (reception, restaurant and another sanitary building) are currently under construction. The large water disposal facility in front of the reception is well done.NegativaThe reception should be manned throughout the day to avoid the traffic jam on the narrow access road at 2.00 pm. It would be better to use the parking lots outside as a check-in lane. The entrance barrier should be automated with license plate recognition. Water and waste water should be installed in the XL spaces. Additional temporary toilet containers are only available in the front area.I have seen itThe square, which is narrow at the front, has potential, even though it is located between the outdoor pool, the Lahn, the cycle path, the railroad line and the highway bridge, which is barely audible. The distances to leisure activities are short. The beer garden is beautifully designed and the prices... are perfectly acceptable.
If you expect perfection in a phase of remodeling, you will always find something. What is already finished is impressive.
