Trier at 8 km. Station train at 5 min walk. Goes every 15 min train aar trier. 2.9 euro.
Some noise from road behind. And many trains. As already mentioned several times in the reviews, the site is located on a busy road, and the railroad line and shipping are also audible. However, the noise level is kept within limits. The site operator is... very friendly and helpful. He explains everything when you check in. The restaurant is friendly and offers home cooking at fair prices. The place is not what you would expect from a place in the wine region. But you can also eat or shop there. The site is also occupied by permanent campers. They are all very friendly.
During peak travel times, such as bridge days, you should definitely book in advance.

A railroad bridge crosses the Moselle in the immediate vicinity. However, this is not very busy and the "noise" is hardly noticeable. Shopping facilities 1.2km.NegativaNothing that really bothered me.small fine cozyI was very impressed, I had a free choice of seats thanks to the online reservation. Check in at the terminal. Chip card for shower and electricity with credit, remaining credit is paid out on departure. Train and road nearby, but I didn't find it very annoying and I live in the village. Very nice and... helpful permanent campers. Not the newest sanitary facilities but clean. It was a bit stupid that my car was parked on the pitch under a tree for 3 days at 36 degrees in the shade, and the stains on the paint from the tree can no longer be removed.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Idefix K.July 2020PozitivaClearly the location! 1. directly on the Moselle and 2. lots of culture in the immediate vicinityNegativaPeople who are sensitive to noise should have earplugs in their luggage. Behind the square is the main road and next to it the railroad bridge. You shouldn't ignore the shipping traffic either, but we didn't see any ships at night.Quite okEither the groundsman has changed or we are not sensitive enough to notice the (much-reported) unfriendliness of the groundsman. He was always friendly and helpful to us. The place is clean and tidy. It is stupid that you have to lay the power cables across the road at the shore pitches, so that cars... often drive over them. Registration is done at a machine from which you get a camper card. Electricity and showers are all charged via this camper card, which makes the site a little anonymous. The restaurant offers good, tasty home cooking at fair prices. As we had read on the website in advance that there is no bread roll service, kiosk or similar, we had already made provisions. One drawback is the apparently relatively poor connection to the sewage system, as you are asked to dispose of gray water at home or on a better equipped site if possible.
All in all, it's still a site where we will definitely spend another weekend.Automaticky přeloženo. 
wanda / werner p.September 2019Spend the night in a guest roomWe stayed in the guest room for 3 nights. Room with cooking and washing up facilities, fridge, TV and safe with shower / WC. The place is ideally located for visiting Trier (Kreuz Konz train station to Trier HB a few minutes). Excursions to Luxembourg, Saarburg, Bernkastell, the Moselle or along the Saar are also not too far away. We felt very comfortable here. The sanitary buildings are a bit outdated but clean. Apart from an old small playground, this site has nothing else special to offer. - Frank Z.August 2012Unfortunately, if you are sensitive to noise, we cannot recommend this site. It is located directly on a main road and a railroad track. There are no shopping facilities on the site, but stores of all kinds are only a few minutes' walk away. The water sports listed on the homepage can only be practiced if you ask the permanent campers who have their own boat. However, the permanent campers on site are very friendly and always up for a bit of fun.Automaticky přeloženo.
