- Helmut V.May 2024PozitivaQuiet, beautiful lake view, close to town, electricity and water directly at the pitch.NegativaToilet facilities somewhat outdated, but clean. What counts.Nice quiet placeWe liked the motorhome site, view of the lake.
Friendly and helpful staff.
Bardolino is not far from the site, you walk about 10 minutes.
There is always something to see here, nice stores. We liked the food and there is delicious Italian ice cream. Ice cream.Automaticky přeloženo. - Jörg W.April 2024PozitivaClose to the villageNegativaThere is none !!!RatingVery nice place, good location to the village, very good service of the operators and the restaurant owners, all friendly, nice, helpful and competent, can only be recommendedAutomaticky přeloženo.
- Robert H.October 2023PozitivaProximity to the centerNegativaWC outdated and dirty Showers outdated and dirtyWill certainly not visit this campsite againIn the event of early departure (1 day earlier), guests are charged differently (sometimes the day is charged, sometimes not)
When we complained, we were told that this is not always dealt with immediately at Camping San Nicolo.
Zero understanding for the customer.Automaticky přeloženo. - Alexander O.June 2023PozitivaClose to Bardolino (10min walking distance) Dog friendly Family friendly Direct access to the lake Large plots Good view of the lake even from the 2nd row Cleanliness Restaurant offers regional and international dishes German-speaking reception Departure by 3 pm on the day of departureNegativaPrices have risen extremely narrow shower cubicles Reservation only possible from 6 nights long power cable necessary Road/sidewalk to Bardolino runs directly behind the CP and cannot be ignoredCP San Nicolo Bardolino_June 2022we felt very comfortable and will definitely come back. the road behind the CP is sometimes very noisy but justifiableAutomaticky přeloženo.

- Doris W.May 2019PozitivaBeautiful place right on the lake and quiet locationNegativaThe sanitary facilities are an absolute no-go for womenBeautifully located motorhome parking spaceIt was our first time at Lake Garda and we found the San Nicolo pitch with our motorhome. We were lucky to get a 2nd pitch in the 1st row. It was still low season. Location right on the lake, small snack restaurant - they had great pizza and very, very friendly staff. But.......the sanitary facilities... don't work at all. There is no facility for toilet paper and there wasn't any, so you had to bring your own. The showers are an imposition. There is only a small hook to put your clothes on and there is nothing separate from the actual shower. A mini space for shower stuff and shampoo. Especially for women: Where do you want to store your towels and clothes properly without them being showered with you? I haven't found sanitary facilities like this anywhere else and it's a shame for such a great pitch right on the lake.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Meinrad F.April 2019PozitivaThe campsite is on the lake and also close to the beautiful town of Bardolino with lots of culinary options, simply great!NegativaToo many dogs on the pitch, lots of disturbance due to barkingA very nice place, was already for the 10th time on the placeThere are more and more dogs on the site, which means that you have to reckon with dogs barking all day long, not all dog owners are concerned about cleaning up after their pets, which was not so extreme in the past (fewer dogs).Automaticky přeloženo.
- Siegfried W.September 2018PozitivaQuiet. Suitable for dogs at nightNegativaShowers and toilets... A bit rusticGreat quiet placeVery nice place with private lake access (without promenade in between) but you have to be patient because there are always some waiting for a place at the gate. The only drawback for the toilets is that you have to bring your own toilet paper and the showers take some getting used to but are always cleaned well.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Silvia M.June 2018PozitivaLocation directly on the lakeNegativaYou cannot make a reservation unless you stay for 14 days, the places directly on the lake are pre-reserved, but with a bit of luck you can slip upAlways worth a stopI've been there 3 times now and each time I've experienced something new. It's easy to walk and hike, with beautiful views over Lake Garda. Stand-up paddling is also great. Recommended from Easter to the beginning of November.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Guy K.May 2018PozitivaLocation to Bardolino Near the water Gravel on pitchesNegativaPitches partly very obstructed and narrow Sanitary facilities are getting on in yearsCentrally locatedThe campsite is located directly on the water just 500 meters from the center of Bardolino. The location right on the water is great, something only this campsite can offer. Unfortunately, I got a pitch with a lantern in the middle of it and a box for the fire hose, so only part of the pitch can be used... and everything is very cramped. The sanitary facilities are fine, but quite dark as you can't turn on the light. Please take toilet paper with you, as there is no toilet paper in the toilets. Great if you realize this too late. There is a small snack bar at the entrance where you can also buy sandwiches. They are not necessarily the latest craze, but they are okay, even if they are a little expensive for the quality. But there are all kinds of shops in Bardolino. I haven't had any problems with the electricity so far, so the fuse doesn't seem to have only 3 amps, as described by others here. I think it is now 6 amps. Pitches are sometimes tight, but it's good that they are gravel, so no muddy pitches even in bad weather. Conclusion, I would go here again, but not to the pitch that has now been allocated, as it really isn't worth the money. No thought was put into the planning. The lanterns could have been better placed at the end of the path.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Dagmar E.September 2017PozitivaVery quiet during the day, close to the village, direct access to the lake via 3 jetties without a promenade in between.NegativaUnfortunately often very loud at night due to the proximity to the skating rink.Great campsiteActually, everything here is great. The small store at the entrance is worth its weight in gold in case it rains or for the bread rolls in the morning. The only drawback is that there is a skating rink directly behind the campsite and on some days you can't get any rest until late at night because the... skating rink also has floodlights and so young people use this rink extensively in the evening and sometimes even into the night. If you have a spot close to this rink, it is almost impossible to sleep because, as you know, the boards make a lot of noise.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Pit G.September 2017PozitivaBread rolls for sale in the morning, small snack bar. Close to the lake and Bardolino.NegativaSanitary facilities a bit outdated (at least the front ones). The disposal station for chemical toilets and waste water is a joke.Beautiful place by the lakeThe location should be emphasized, if you are lucky right at the front directly on the lake, but even in the 3rd and 4th row you still have a good view in places. The proximity to the city also means that the pitch is always full. Every day there were several camper vans waiting in front of the barrier... for a free pitch. Cycling towards Garda or Lazise from here is no problem. Yes, the pitches are mostly quite small, but the ground is graveled - so no mud when it rains. Modern supply columns for electricity and water for 4 pitches each.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Sascha T.July 2017Pozitiva-Proximity to the townNegativa-There are more beautiful places on Lake GardaGood locationThe campsite is located directly on the lake and on the outskirts of Bardolino. The town center is just a few minutes' walk away. The campsite has a narrow beach with a bathing jetty. The campsite has a restaurant which we did not visit. We got a pitch for our tent right next to the road to Bardolino,... where crowds of people were entering the town. There is little shade and the individual small pitches are barely separated by plants. The showers are also very cramped and you should stock up on toilet paper beforehand. The prices are usually high due to the region. We can recommend the site for an overnight stay.Automaticky přeloženo.
- wolfgang s.June 2017PozitivaDirectly on Lake Garda with its own beach and close to the centerNegativaSanitary facilities are in need of renovation, but clean.Great place on the edge of BardolinoFor us the best place in Bardolino. We've been coming here for years. It's like staying in a hotel, right on the water and on the footpath to Garda. Distance to the center 500m. Everything within easy reach, bread roll service and small bistro on site.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Orhan A.September 2016PozitivaDirectly on the water and close to the town center (400m)NegativaAmperage 3 Ampere !!!! Outdated general condition !!! Pitches too small...Top location, everything else, well...As described above top location, 5 min. walk to the town center. Most pitches too small (approx. 50m²), electricity of 3 amps is not up to date, WLAN only works near the distributor. Sani facilities from the 60s 70s, chemical toilet or other facilities also not up to date, hot water works, for this condition the place is already overpriced !!!!Automaticky přeloženo.
- Wolfgang P.June 2016PozitivaThe location on the water and the proximity to BardolinoNegativaVery small, narrow pitchesSimple and good - simply good!I find the campsite simple and good. It's not a super banger, but it does have an Italian flair. It is very busy, the pitches are terribly cramped, the sanitary facilities are quite basic but are kept clean regularly. The location of the campsite directly on the lake and within walking distance of the... town is great. My recommendation for an evening stroll, just behind the barrier on the right, along the wonderfully curved promenade with a view over the lake. Wonderful!Automaticky přeloženo.
- Günther L.June 2016PozitivaGood location to the town of BardolinoGood placeThe campsite has direct access to the water and is not fenced in like the other pitches. The sanitary buildings are old, but are cleaned several times a day. The beautiful town of Bardolino is only a few minutes' walk away. Addendum: Due to our stay in June 2016, we knew that the operators only respond... to reservations of at least 14 days, so at the end of October 2017 I sent an email to the campsite with the date (end of May 2018 for 14 days) and the indication of different pitch numbers. Another email at the beginning of January 2018.at the end of January, after about 20 attempts, I managed to get the lady from reception (speaks and understands German very well) on the phone.I was promised, after I described the situation to her, to look at our request and email and then get in touch.after another 2 weeks I sent another email to the campsite. To date we have not received a reply. I don't want to comment any further on what I think of such behavior.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Florian Z.May 2016PozitivaClose to the centerNegativaUnfriendly receptionUnfortunately not anymoreWon't be going to this campsite again. If it is said that reservations are only possible for stays of 14 days or more and that there is always something available anyway (in May or at the end of September 2016), but you are brashly turned away, the arduous journey with the camper van through or backwards through the maze of alleyways is too stressful for me.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Alfred S.April 2016PozitivaDirectly on the lake, close to the town approx. 5 min, good localities, close to Verona, good bus connections, friendly staff!NegativaWe had nothing to complain about!Always happy to return to this campsite! We have been coming to this CAP for many years and are very satisfied. After the renovation of the sanitary facilities and the new supply systems, electricity and water, we can only recommend this place! The proximity to the lake and the town is very important to us!Automaticky přeloženo.
- resi c.October 2015Pozitivaclose to the lake, close to the centerNegativaSignage to the squareSmall but centrally located campsitevery nice, small campsite. if you sit outside, ducks come to visit :-), after a short walk along the lake you can reach the center in about 5 minutes. new sanitary facilities, new management in the store / bar, for very large Womos some parking spaces available.Automaticky přeloženo.
