Far too many pitches and rental accommodation. Despite Corona, pool totally full, extremely loud animation until midnight that you can hear right into the last corner. Despite paying for WiFi, no reception as it was totally overloaded.
Does not meet expectations
A mass camping site. The pool is totally undersized for the amount of people. Despite Corona, the pool was super full every day. Lounger to lounger. The rental house was not thoroughly cleaned. Despite paid W-LAN no coming in, because far too many people are hanging on the net.
The restaurant was quite... overpriced and had tiny portions.
The worst thing was the daily, extremely loud animation until late at night, which was almost unbearable. We wouldn't come back again, especially not at this price.

Outdated facility, no 5 stars
An outdated and dirty campsite. Some of the pitches are a cheek, you have the feeling of staying in a parking lot. Sanitary facilities seem to date back to the 90s and have not been maintained since then, if something breaks it is locked. In addition, it is only "cleaned" once a day. The result is far... from clean. The reception is incompetent or inflexible. Booked services (special pitch and fridge) are not provided or provided too late. The beach is further away than described. The only nice thing is the pool, but it has such rough floors that some children got sore feet. This is supposed to be a 5 star place, I would give it 3 stars.

Broken, dirty sanitary facilities Loud No sunshades
Disaster !!!!
Of the 3 sanitary buildings available, only two were usable; one building was closed without any notice or reason In the sanitary building located near our pitch, we found unacceptable conditions: numerous toilets were locked for several days and the number of toilets available was insufficient, so that... you usually had to wait here . the few usable toilets were mostly dirty and defective flushing and sewage pipes ensured that dirt and sewage mixed on the floor to form a disgusting brown broth. There was no hot water for 2 days (neither for showering nor for washing dishes). The evening events were at an unacceptable volume and did not finish by 11pm as described. There were no parasols at the pool. On the way to the sea stinking dog excrement wherever you looked. We ended our vacation early. So far the worst campsite we have visited !!!

Suitable for a short vacation
The way to the beach is unfortunately full of horses and dog droppings, sitting outside in the evening is almost impossible mosquitoes are everywhere. Swimming area is very nice this has made our children 3 and 5 years a lot of fun the animation was also good. Conclusion: would come again but the way to the beach better go by car outside and bring enough spray against mosquitoes. Rather unsuitable for dogs

CONFORT PLUS 10A private sanitary booked, on site: - Private sanitary 50m away, therefore not on the pitch. - Private sanitary facilities not lockable (only for ours, makeshift repair with sliding lock, padlock not available). My objection was not addressed, so I got a padlock myself. - Condition of... the private sanitary facilities: shower partition wall loose, so that it was in the way either when going to the toilet or when showering. This hut cost 10,- / day, the public wash house was just as far away - why did I pay for a private one that should be on the pitch according to the site plan? The idea of private sanitary facilities is nevertheless recommendable. - here is advertised with 4*, at the entrance with 5*, does not correspond to reality, at least for the campers. - no light at the dishwashing points - no disposal of service water or camping toilets Recommendation: set up a pure holiday village and no longer rent out pitches.

Poor pitches facing the beach, no light in the toilet at night, path to the beach full of dog and horse droppings
Not ideal for campers
a large part of the pitches have been dug up by wild boars, no one thinks it necessary to repair the pitches. No toilet light at night. No dog toilets - so the path to the beach is full of dog excrement. Permanent campers spend the whole day working on their mobile homes. Depending on the location of... the pitch, the path to the beach is quite long (10 min. walk). However, the beach is very beautiful and not very busy. The restaurant is good. The showers are clean and very spacious and therefore comfortable. The pitch plan is not correct at the back and front - as a camper, let yourself be accompanied to the pitch! Animation only in French.

Not recommended for campers in the low season
The pitches looked as if wild boars had been butchering.the light in the toilets didn't work.permanent campers now use the time to put everything in order. Leaf vacuum cleaner for hours, alarm system beeps all night.unfortunately paid in advance otherwise we would have already left.what others have also... done.maybe better in the high season. However, we will also be leaving earlier. Mini market only open until midday. The beach is at least 500 meters away, but the showers are really clean and big.

Location on the beach
Nice place with a beautiful beach
We stayed at this campsite for 3 days at the beginning of September on our way to Barcelona and really enjoyed it. The reception was very friendly and possible in French, English or Spanish. We were able to choose between several pitches, all of which were about the same size (approx. 85 m²). There were... plenty of sanitary facilities and they were cleaned regularly, everything was very clean. The pool area was also always very clean and tidy and had a small slide and a small children's area. The offer in the small market was a bit thin due to the low season, but the basic things such as baguettes for breakfast were available. The beach is large and very beautiful and the water is shallow. However, the walk to the beach is a bit longer, about 400m from the exit gate of the campsite. We did not try the restaurant. All in all, we can recommend the campsite and would come here again.

Nice place with small weaknesses
The site is located in beautiful natural surroundings. The beach is clean and wide. Fortunately no paid umbrellas like in Italy. The 10-minute walk to the beach is not really a problem. Large pitches and mostly nice shade. The disadvantages: No dogs on the beach in HS until 31.8! Dog beach about 20 minutes... walk away. Especially the neighboring pitches mean well with the volume of disco and animation. Often monster car shows nearby until 23:00... Unfortunately, our 14-year-old found it quite boring here.

Not so suitable for dogs, as dogs are banned on the beach in high season at the latest.
Beautifully situated, short walk to the beach perhaps a little out of the way
All in all a nice place. Short walk to the beach, nice pool. Great facilities for children. Pitches large enough but you don't need to rent individual sanitary facilities.

Great location on the beach, short drive to important sights in the region, super-friendly staff
Blue Bayoo highly recommended
As a family with two children (11 and 6), we felt very comfortable for 14 days in a mobile home at the Blue Bayou campsite. The location by the sea (5 minutes through the dunes to the beach) is great for swimming and was ideal for us for excursions to Narbonne, Carcassonne, old abbeys and monasteries... as well as the many Cathar fortresses in the region. In the evening, there was always a show program, which was usually quite appealing. The program started relatively late at 9.30 pm and usually went on until 10.30 or 11.00 pm. After that, there was only occasional background music from the surrounding areas. So it's not necessarily the first choice for those seeking relaxation who want absolute silence before midnight... We didn't use the very varied children's entertainment offered on the campsite (program plans are available at check-in). But the children who were out and about on the campsite with the young entertainers made a happy impression. A clear recommendation for a great vacation in France! We didn't use the sanitary facilities on the tent and caravan pitches or the "launderette", but the service staff were always out and about cleaning...

We stayed at the campsite for the second time as a family of 4 in July 2011. We can certainly recommend the campsite. The sanitary facilities are very well maintained, spacious and well cleaned. The site is wonderfully overgrown with tall trees, so there is always plenty of shade on hot days. There are... mainly mobile homes in different sizes, even for large families or groups. They are equipped with a kitchenette, living/dining area and bedrooms. They also include a fridge with freezer compartment and a microwave. The mobile homes are always staggered so that the covered terrace in front is not directly opposite the neighbor. What is very nice about the tent pitches is that they are offered with separate sanitary facilities for each pitch. The emphasis here is on intimacy. It is a good idea to bring bicycles, scooters and inline skates for the children, as the paths on the site are asphalted. Overall, the site makes a very tidy impression, with oleanders and hedges lining the paths. The beach is a safe 300 m walk directly from the campsite through a grassy nature reserve. The beach is very wide and offers plenty of space, so that even in the high season you have the feeling of being in a family environment. Blue Bayou has a beautifully designed multi-section pool with a slide, toddler pool, swimmers' and non-swimmers' areas, which are supervised by lifeguards. In the evenings there is a great entertainment program for young and old, shows, ventriloquists, hypnotists, dancers, musicals, children's discos, live bands, solo singers, pageants, talent shows and much more to keep you entertained. I've never seen anything like it at any other place. The events as well as the sports and children's activities on offer are accompanied by many entertainers. There is a tennis court, a soccer pitch, table tennis, a fitness center and a boules court. There is also a climbing playground for small children. The staff are friendly and helpful. There are shops on site for your daily needs as well as a restaurant and bar by the pool and a snack bar where you can get chicken, fries, pizza, hamburgers and more. The site is monitored and locked by security staff. The entrance gate can only be crossed on foot from 23:00. The formalities on arrival and departure went very quickly and smoothly. Tip: We stayed overnight in one of the Formula 1 hotels on the outward journey - cheaper and less stressful.
