- Lizel G.August 2024PozitivaNeat, clean, well organised and a lot of activities for children. There are also shops and restaurants on site and a pharmacy.NegativaIt’s basically just Dutch people during high season.Dutch paridiseBathrooms and facilities are really clean and more than enough facilities. Big supermarket (closed during siesta) on campsite with a pharmacy and a lot of restaurants they do sell out fast with popular foods over lunch. the beach is walking distance from campsite but most people spend the day at the... pool, which there is more than enough of although full of children and when I say I mean FULL! The children do enjoy it a lot though seeing its just Dutch people the kids easily make friends.
- Wolfgang S.September 2020PozitivaLarge pitches for motorhomesNegativaPoor wifi, overpriced restaurant, no beach bar, very far from nearest villageHuge spacePlace with a lot of mobile homes and large pool area.pitches for mobile homes very large and parceled.way to the beach very far about 800m.Wlan a disaster only works in the bar area.store as big as ALDI and totally overpriced, also in the bar area pure rip-off.every evening until midnight animation.for families with children optimal because of the huge pool area.sanitary so far in order only the sink area should be renovated times.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Hannes L.August 2020PozitivaLarge supermarket with a wide selection beautiful pool area with bar and clothing store NEW sanitary facilities very clean. Bicycle rental directly at the camp (somewhat old and shabby bicycles) beautiful beach everything you need on site gelateria, stores and large laundryNegativaPrice performance in the restaurant Beach approx. 15min walk Volleyball or soccer field missing. Pitches partly small.Super camping in TuscanyBeautiful camping village in Tuscany, new sanitary facilities. Sometimes a bit lively but also normal for a site of this size.
Supermarket and store very large with regional and international selection, prices slightly above the regional supermarket price.
We recommend renting a bike to the beach as it is a bit far.
All in all a great place in Tuscany.Automaticky přeloženo. - Frank Z.August 2019Pozitiva- Cheap supermarket that has everything (delicious wine on tap) - Good pizzas - Very nice beach - Great evening entertainmentNegativa- Cycling is only fun after about 15KM distance - A bit noisy depending on locationBeautiful but sometimes lively placeWe stayed at this campsite with our three children (15/11/11) for 14 days in August/September. We had a mobile home from a provider. The site has everything you need. However, it is very large. The supermarket is almost as big as in the cities and the prices are only slightly higher than there. There... is a market at the campsite several times a week. Our children enjoyed the evening entertainment, especially the foam party. The pools are not so great for adults and older children. Most of them are only knee-deep. There is only one swimming pool, which is totally overcrowded in summer. However, you can swim in the morning as it is only open to swimmers. The beach nearby is really beautiful. It can be reached via a path for cyclists and pedestrians (recently opened). We had bikes with us so it never bothered us that it was about 1km away. The water was amazing, very clean, clear and warm. The sanitary facilities were always clean and well maintained. There are some lovely little villages nearby (Campiglia Marittima) with great views. I rode my road bike in the area a few times and took the most beautiful ascent to Sassetta. No matter which route you choose, it's fun to ride up there. The only thing that bothered us on the campsite were some noisy neighbors with their barking dogs. Don't get me wrong, but if the dog barks at everyone who walks past the mobile home, it can be really annoying in the long run. Other dogs were quiet. And camping has something to do with relaxation. The site is ideal for families with small children. But we liked it so far.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Dominic M.April 2019PozitivaEverything is there...NegativaHuge and yet a little away from the beach.A huge thingA large vacation resort where you can also camp. Friendly staff (some multilingual). Spacious and well-maintained sanitary facilities. Large pool area but the beach is an estimated one kilometer away. Everything is available on the site, from the restaurant to the supermarket and leisure facilities.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Karl H.September 2018PozitivaWifi everywhere and free of charge, large supermarket, nice pitches, ADAC-Card advantagesNegativaLarge pool area, but no opportunity to swim (except in the morning, fixed time)Huge camping bungalow area - free WiFi everywhereAfter our tour of Tuscany, we just wanted to relax for another week, which is why we chose this site. An employee shows us free pitches. These vary in size. We found a very nice pitch with electricity, water and rabbits :-). At the beginning we had a little trouble finding our way around, as the site... is really big, but that soon disappeared. Luckily we had our bikes with us, as some of the paths are quite long. Among other things, it's also a long way to the beach, which is definitely worth driving or walking to. The pool area is huge, several pools, but only one deep one that you could swim in if it hadn't been so busy. There are plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. There is a central, large sanitary building. This was very well maintained, the cleaning ladies were on duty until 11pm. There were almost no mosquitoes. The supermarket is large and well stocked, so you don't have to go out shopping (prices not overpriced). There are always two entertainment programs in the evening. One is a band in the catering area and the other is a show by the entertainment team. Speaking of entertainment, this was exclusively in Italian, although there were a lot of Germans on the campsite. We can highly recommend the take-away pizza and the fish restaurant.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Daniela J.June 2018PozitivaBeautifully laid out place very large well-stocked supermarket! Several restaurants on site nice sanitary facilitiesNegativaNoise depending on the pitch One does not speak German at check-in unfriendlyNice campsite with some drawbacksNoise level very high Friendliness so la la Pool area very nice! The pitches are partly quite large but there are also some where there are trees in the middle of the plot ! Beach 1 km away! Bicycle an advantageAutomaticky přeloženo.
- Nico S.May 2018PozitivaSwimming poolsNegativatoo largeGiant placeToo big for us. Even after 3 days I had orientation problems. It's best to take a bike, as there are long distances to cover. Restaurants good and reasonably priced. Sanitary facilities were clean, but with so many people something always breaks. Large supermarket with everything you need.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Daniel K.May 2018PozitivaSomething for everyoneNegativaSea too far awayfor familiesFriendly reception / reception, separate campsite and all mobile home providers, English and also some German, it is driven by a friendly employee with the Eletrocar to the place, which is good for the size of the place. Separated places by hedges, 2 m high, electricity mostly at the place, water together... with 2 other places. The toilet facility is new, with good lighting, music, toilet paper, and was always kept clean by friendly staff. The pool area is as great as on the homepage! For the teenagers there is a WIFI zone at the catering area, but they can also just sit there without drinking anything. (SB) We didn't go to the large mobile home area, which is definitely very crowded in summer. Unfortunately the beach is 1 km away and with beach equipment the walk is exhausting. For excursions to Piombino , possibly Elba etc. well located . Of course the whole thing has its price , but we were able to camp cheaply with ADAC Card . We will come back .Automaticky přeloženo.
- Wolfgang H.May 2018PozitivaWater parkNegativaDominated by mobile homesMobile homes in rank and fileCP crammed with mobile homes. Water park ideal for children up to 12 years. No wifi. Not even at the WiFi points (impossible for a campsite of this size). The food in the campsite restaurants far too expensive and not good. The supermarket is ok. The check-in procedures - a mess. The road to the free beach, about 1km, is very dangerous. We will not be back.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Andrea B.August 2017PozitivaThere is something for everyone, great pool area and good restaurant.Negativamany cars and cyclists, small children should not walk alone through the area.Great lively super place in an old pine forestWe have been regular guests for 7 years and enjoy coming back every year. Competent staff, huge pool, great restaurant, huge playground and well-stocked supermarket. There is always entertainment or live music in the evenings. Not for seniors looking for peace and quiet - the place is lively and it never gets boring. No midday rest, but we don't miss it either. Great for families with children.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Alfred T.June 2017PozitivaGood locationNegativaPlease renovate first. In need of renovation. Construction site by the pool.Although the friendly staff always tried to keep it clean, the sanitary area left a lot to be desired. Very outdated and in great need of renovation. Large construction site at the diving pool. And already loud in the morning at the pool. by dj.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Jürgen G.August 2016PozitivaClean, animation for children, evening programNegativaThere is a lot of theftI don't have to go there againWe two adults and two children were on this site for the first time. The approach through San Vincenzo was a challenge as we arrived on a Sunday and the road was very narrow with cars parked left and right. The staff at reception were not the friendliest. Our pitch was on a gravel road where there was... through traffic all day, we were always dusty. The campsite is not on the beach, so if you want to swim on the beach you have to walk about a kilometer. The road to the beach is very busy and there is no sidewalk. We have been to Italy (Adriatic) many times but I have never experienced a campsite where so much was stolen as here. Nevertheless, we didn't let it spoil our vacation, the water by the sea was great.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Nicole D.August 2016PozitivaPerhaps out of season, suitable for families. Or for people who want to spend their vacation organized only on the pitchNegativafar too big, too organized, unfriendly staffPark Albatros - not a second timeHuge complex, very busy in high season. Beach only accessible via a narrow road, no lane for pedestrians/drivers. In the morning there were already 100 people in front of the pool area to occupy sunbeds. Camping is too organized - evening market in the complex, when asked where an evening market is outside... - no information!!!! Bungalow from Homair-old, dirty (garden furniture, dishes....) Shower leaking - water was already running into the neighboring room!!! Complaint to the Homair staff - no response for 3 days, had to "intercept" the workman on the street ourselves!!! Outside the campsite: beautiful area, great natural beach and nice little towns =)Automaticky přeloženo.
- mich k.July 2016Pozitivainfo point great, there is info on the train connections to pisa/Rome etc., and very helpful, really TOP, opening hours greatNegativaroad to the beach, hours of noise at the mobilhomes in the last rowthere are nicer placesthe way to the beach goes along the access road which leads to the campsite, there is no separate pedestrian or cyclist path you share with the car-camper traffic approx. 400mtr an approx. 4-5mtr wide road to the beach then you cross another main road then comes the pine forest to the beach, very dangerous... that makes on vacation no joy, and if we have a mobilhome at the end of the place you are happy about the peace, unfortunately the farmer has to irrigate his fields at the back of the field, on saturdays we had the engine noise of the pump for over 5 hours and at least 8 days every morning for over 3 hours (i.e. at breakfast) construction noise can't be worse, it's a real shame that this is not mentioned in the catalog description againAutomaticky přeloženo.
- Roland G.July 2016Pozitivarecommended for families with small children, washing center, supermarketNegativano swimming opportunities in the pools because too fullmore for families with small childrenTravel time July 2016, site almost fully booked, very large site with many mobile homes, central large sanitary building which is modern and very clean, pitches large and on the edge (red zone) also quietly located, access roads sufficiently large also for larger WM or WW, pitches very sandy or dusty,... very friendly staff, supermarket on site very good and a little more expensive than in e.g. in San Vincenzo, mainly Dutch families with many small children, the pools and water parks are good but totally crowded (no swimming possible), sun loungers and water parks were often reserved or also later almost impossible. in San Vincenzo, mainly Dutch families with lots of small children, the pools and water parks are good but totally overcrowded (no swimming possible), sunbeds and umbrellas were often reserved or almost impossible to get even at later times, good entertainment and animation (including foam party), distance to good sandy beach approx. 1 km, sea water quality good, bicycles highly recommended, excursions to Elba, Pisa etc. are to be recommended. WLAN in central places good otherwise bad, stores good, absolute top washing center for dirty laundry.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Jörg W.May 2016PozitivaIt's a big playground for childrenNegativaVery loudNot suitable for those seeking peace and quiet very loud from 8-23hrsDespite pre-ordering, neither hedge nor lawn was mowed this was done in the time we were there with the motorhome. It is constantly loud passage traffic from morning to evening midday rest is not available For us this place is not again in question Very important is not pre-book because there is no money back if you want to leave earlier. Cash is collected immediately on arrival VIeles is only in English or ItalianAutomaticky přeloženo.
- uwe b.September 2015PozitivaEverything you need is there, well organized, well maintainedNegativaToo big for my camping worldLike a small townVery large campsite with all the trimmings. Surprisingly good value in the low season, close to the sea, ideal for excursions to coastal Tuscany. Large supermarket, great sanitary facilities. Many rental accommodations, full program of entertainment and fun.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Oliver L.August 2015PozitivaLocation, leisure facilities, pool area, market, restaurantsNegativaVery loud, at least in the parking lot areaGigantic place that lacks only one thing: peace and quietWe (2 adults, 3 children, dog) spent almost three weeks with our caravan at Park Albatros. Our children were thrilled, we adults felt reminded of Disneyland. Program, music, car traffic from 8 in the morning until well after midnight. No advantages without disadvantages...Automaticky přeloženo.
- Achim S.June 2015Pozitiva- Family vacation resort with a wide range of entertainment options - Huge water landscape in 2 super-large and other poolsNegativa- Relatively far from the beach and nearest town - Pitch 77 was unkempt, an alarming amount of broken glass on and in the ground.A great place, but the management is disappointing.Located near the island of Elba on the Gulf of Barrati at the southern end of Tuscany. Completely rebuilt a few years ago (approx. 2008), unfortunately not directly on the beach, but approx. 800m away. If you want to go to the pretty beach (endless to the right and left), you have to walk or (better)... cycle along the access road. However, most guests seem to stay on the grounds anyway, primarily in the huge pool area, with their children. With these extraordinary water play areas, it is probably one of the most beautiful places in the Elite Club Vacanze chain. x-x-x Most guests probably stay in the numerous rental bungalows, but there is also a large area for mobile homes and caravans, close to the pools and separated from the neighbors by hedges. x-x-x We recommend pitch 77, where we removed all the broken glass from the floor - and that was a whole dustpan full (see photo). I have never had so much broken glass on the pitch on any campsite in many years of motorhome touring! When I mentioned this to the park manager, it was dismissed with a terse "sorry" and excuses such as "the last rain must have washed it out". There was no trace of guest orientation here, the guest is a nuisance, not a king. At least an employee was sent, who then looked around (albeit rather listlessly) at the empty seats in the neighborhood. x-x-x Apart from that, the pitches are quite large, and there is even room for extra-long, thick boats. Pleasant: one water point for every 4 pitches. The pine trees on the pitches are still relatively small and provide little shade. The pitch suggestions were presented by the service team on a golf cart tour, great! x-x-x The attractive bamboo-look sanitary building in the camping area is top class, unfortunately only a few individual wash cubicles - and unfortunately there were also a few problems with some of the water basins, just high season ... x-x-x The "Camping Village" sees itself as a vacation resort, so the entertainment is varied and comprehensive. Gymnastics on the ground and in the water, daily events, children's club, a great adventure climbing trail for everyone over 1.40 m (for a fee) and much more - a place especially for families. Internet is free, but reception outside the central piazza is poor and unstable. x-x-x The nearest town (San Vincenzo) is approx. 7 km away, so the vacation is generally concentrated on the vacation park - which can be quite expensive in some cases: e.g. 1 scoop of ice cream for €1.70. The huge supermarket is definitely not a discount store either. Twice a week, around 50 market stalls with handicrafts are set up on the site, offering genuine and beautiful handicrafts from the region. We recommend visiting the Etruscan necropolis in Populonia! x-x-x We liked it very much, especially the hustle and bustle. There are other campsites for those seeking peace and quiet or beach fans. And as already written: Pitch 77 is free of broken glass, children can run barefoot here again (for the first time in these weeks) without any danger!Automaticky přeloženo.
