Beautiful campsite right by the sea, with very large pitches. Very friendly staff, sanitary facilities not the newest
newest but always clean. The site is very well maintained and clean. The supermarket leaves nothing to be desired. We will be very happy to recommend the campsite to others and will be happy to come back ourselves.

Unfortunately, it's getting louder and louder
We always like to come back to this campsite because it is really beautiful and very clean.
We have also stayed here for 14 days with our granddaughter.
The staff are very friendly and helpful, we couldn't complain about anything.
But unfortunately it's getting louder and louder on the campsite, this... year we were subjected to sound from the hotel on the right and further away, there were concerts on the two evenings we were there and these were also very loud.
Then there is usually the children's entertainment from the campsite which goes on until 11pm and the volume could be turned down.
We are not early risers, we stay up late, but then I would like to have at least a little peace and quiet in the evening and not be bombarded by sound from three sides, because we found that very stressful and therefore left earlier than planned.
Conclusion: A great place with children but unfortunately very noisy in the evening.

Loudness in the evening: okay, it's Italy, it's often louder there, if I want peace and quiet, I stay in the mountains, but: if there's a concert next door in Gateo Mare every evening, why does it have to be turned down with its own entertainment or beach bar? If you're right in between, it's unfortunately annoying instead of relaxing
Best decision in the Covid19 year
In the special Corona year, Croatia fell through (travel warning), therefore uncomplicated rebooking at short notice. Very friendly welcome, everywhere unagitated but strict hygiene measures, contrary to home in Austria. Overall good location, also for excursions to nearby towns or villages. Cycle paths,... running routes, warm sea, good food, markets, no tourist traps in contrast to the north of Italy, overall a very relaxing vacation despite the pandemic. Advantage: no dogs allowed. Also good: the paths in between are rather narrow, therefore little and slow traffic, children can play or cycle. Mixed crowd overall, tents also available

...were this year for the first time for 9 days at the end of the season on this place, large pitch, everything very clean in particular, the sanitary facilities were impeccably cleaned daily, a friendly welcome at check-in after prior reservation was done quickly, the offer on the beach with free umbrella is not common everywhere, certainly come again

We stayed at this CP in Sept 2018. Although the CP was closed on our departure day, the selection in the grocery store and in the attached Pup was still FULLY available. We will be back.

Our pitch was very small, even though we had already booked the middle category. Every centimeter is used on the pitch. The location is good, the beach is also beautiful. Everyone gets a parasol free of charge, which is rare. Basically quite a nice place, sanitary also in order. Shopping facilities and... entertainment are available and ok. Not the music at night. There is an outdoor disco in a "circus tent" next to the pitch. Depending on the pitch, the music could be heard very loudly until 3 a.m., which was really annoying if you just wanted to sleep at some point.

The loud music you criticized, especially on Saturdays, actually comes from the Joe Bananas tent disco in the neighbouring village of Gatteo... a Mare. We have been in contact with the mayor and the police of Gatteo since early summer and have reported the disturbance. We are therefore actively working on the issue and naturally want to solve the problem before the 2019 season. We hope to welcome you back to beautiful Emilia Romagna and to our hotel.

Nice well-kept place but much too loud
Hello, Rubicone is actually a nice, well-kept site right on the beach. Unfortunately, there is a tent disco in the immediate vicinity which is so loud from 10:30 pm until early in the morning that it is really difficult to sleep and our pitch was on the far side! Furthermore, I think the ice cream prices... are absolutely outrageous, asking €2.50 for a scoop borders on extortionate. I can't say how the ice cream tasted, as we didn't even eat any for this price. On the other hand, the pizza in the restaurant is very good and the price is ok (around €7.50). The beach is actually very nice but too cramped for the size of the campsite, the children have no space to play in the sand as the parasols (some of which are free) are very close together and the whole beach has been paved over with them. You have to wear a swimming cap in the pool, which is no longer in keeping with the times. The animation is quite good but almost exclusively in Italian which is a pity. A railroad line runs right next to the campsite. Unfortunately, we will not be returning, primarily because of the extreme disturbance of the disco every night.

We were pleased to have you as our guest at our campsite and we regret that we were not able to use all the services available to the customer.
However, we would like to emphasize some of the aspects you highlighted:
The beach available to our vacationers is not small and sunbeds and... umbrellas are available for anyone who wants to use them. The space for children is large enough for them to have a good time without running the risk of getting too far away.
The disco tent entertains guests late in the evening and we are very sorry that you heard it even though you were on the other side of the campsite.
Regarding the cost of ice cream, we are sorry but it is in line with the market cost for a tourist establishment, we are afraid that it will be difficult to eat at a lower price.
The use of the cap is common in most swimming pools, it is a simple matter of hygiene.
The animation is conducted in several languages to ensure that all guests understand and have fun.
Hoping that you can change your mind and decide to visit us again in the future, we offer you many greetings.

4* Camping on the Adriatic
A very nice site in the middle of a small town within walking distance. There are also pitches for larger campers. Everything is very clean and well-kept. The essential thing for us: cleanliness of the sanitary facilities - absolutely given. Felt a disproportionate number of yellow license plates 😉.... Good range of sports and sailing ⛵️ even free of charge. The only point that is a little disconcerting is that the pool area is rather sparse and the wearing of swimming caps is a little reminiscent of the 80s of the last century.

Actually a nice campsite
After spending the last few years at a campsite on the Adriatic coast of Veneto, we wanted to make a change this year. As we had already focused on the Rubicone campsite years ago, it was to be our vacation destination for 2018. Due to a stay in hospital, we were only able to arrive one day later on... 24.06.18. The pitch we booked, Superbox Comfort, wasn't quite the 100 square meters, but there was enough space for our large family tent and our van. The private bathroom right next to the pitch was simple but functional and clean. 5 days before departure, we asked at reception about an extension of approx. 2 days. According to the employee, this should not be a problem, but we should ask again the day before the originally planned departure. The weather was rainy on the last two days, especially on 05.07.18 with storms, heavy rain and hail. The day before departure, we asked again whether it would be possible to extend our stay by two days. This time we were told in a rude manner that this is NOT possible under any circumstances, at least 3 additional days would have to be booked. An extension was out of the question. So we had to pack our tent slightly damp (which, due to the cotton fabric, meant we had to rebuild it at home to dry it). Another vacationer, who has been visiting the campsite every year for 20 years, couldn't understand the "hiccup" caused by the receptionist either. We also noticed that the check-out employee did not ask us if we had enjoyed our stay and wished us a safe journey home, as is usually the case at other Italian campsites. We had actually planned to book the Rubicone campsite again next year. But this has now come to an end.

Super campsite
First of all, we visited the campsite the day after it opened (during the Bavarian Whitsun vacations). This means that the site was at most 50% full until we left. This is of course also reflected in some of the rating points. Everything about the campsite was actually TOP, the cleanliness, the friendliness,... the location by the sea and to the neighboring towns etc.. There was also never any of the noise described above, which was certainly also due to the fact that the entertainment area was not in the immediate vicinity. About the entertainment. A real effort was made here to put together a varied program. However, it often tends to be more for the younger children. The associated bar is quite O.K. In mid-May it was also a bit quiet in the neighboring villages, but that got better from day to day. The supermarket on site has everything you need (including spare parts for camping). What is particularly recommended is the on-site butcher's shop with super quality. I therefore give the site a rating of 1! PS1: Not far from the campsite (by car) is the Romagna Shopping Valley. A clothing mecca for girls (and boys). And you can also stock up for the next few days in the supermarket. PS2: The restaurant in the square is average at best when it comes to pasta dishes.

The entertainment service is our strength, all the staff are good and professional and is committed to offering our guests a varied service and many alternatives.... The mini market is always well stocked and with average prices our guests enjoy shopping because they find everything they need. Even the pizzeria is excellent, with the option of take-away.
The pitches are always clean and well maintained, as are all other types of accommodation and toilets.

There's nothing to complain about
We (2 adults, 2 children (11 and 14) were there at the end of August/beginning of September 2017. We arrived the day before at night. We could no longer access the site, but we were given free electricity. The next day we had a free choice of pitches with a site plan. We took a smaller pitch, but it... was perfectly fine. And it was also cheap. We paid around 380 euros for 12 days. On the day of departure, we were able to stay until the evening. That was super cheap. Each pitch has a free parasol on the beach. The beach is a bit small, but that's just the way things are. Long beach walks are possible in both directions. Inexpensive shopping opportunities in a huge shopping center nearby. Delicious pizza at low prices (under 7 euros) on site. Direct access to "Remmi-Demmi towns" to the left and right of the campsite, but it was still quiet for us on the site. Beach and facilities are clean. Beach bar available. Staff always friendly and helpful. We didn't use the pool area, so no comment on that. In short, it was a great vacation for us. We will definitely be back

Great place unfortunately extremely loud, until deep into the night !!!!
For me it was the last vacation on this place. Everything about the place is great and you could really feel at home there. Unfortunately it is quite loud there, in the morning at 9.15 the animation team roars from all the loudspeakers at the pitches. At night, on the other side of the canal, less than... 100m from the campsite, the tent disco is in operation until half past one. The bass makes it extremely difficult to sleep. When talking to other campers, I realized that it wasn't just unbearable for me.

The best place for us
For years we have been coming at Whitsun and in the summer with small and big children.everyone loves this place because it still offers the Italian flair.of course this also includes healthy life and being together on the site.it is good that there are rules but also very good that you don't have to... be afraid of being thrown off the site if you still have lively conversations after 10 p.m. Our 4 children were always rested and relaxed and still enjoy the lessez faire life that the site offers and hopefully still retains. The animation and the bar are as they are now in their volume to bear and endure.we love you.

Actually brilliant, but unfortunately too loud
Were there at the end of August. Good campsite. But in comparison with the campsites on the upper Adriatic, a maximum of three out of five stars. Too few wash houses in high season, sometimes long waiting times and no hot water. Beach could be bigger. The relatively small beach quickly becomes very crowded.... The compressed sand sometimes feels like concrete. Sunshades are free, beach bar very cozy. Positive: Really good restaurants right on the square. There are lively little places to the right and left of the square. The disadvantage is the resulting triple sound system (directly from the square, village on the left, village on the right) until midnight. From midnight onwards, the sound only came from one direction. So if you like DJ Ötzi or Italian pop music until the early hours, this is definitely the place to be, otherwise it can get annoying.... More beautiful surroundings than on the upper Adriatic. However, if you are planning to travel with teenagers, I can only recommend this campsite. 5 stars +! The offer for this age group is unique. Our teenager has never enjoyed a campsite anywhere near as much.

Every year again...
A beautiful and well-kept CP. The bars, the restaurant and the store are TOP. The staff are always friendly and helpful. We have now been there three times during the high season and, unlike other campsites, we found it very quiet at this time. Something has clearly been done about the volume of the announcements or the evening program. It's a lot better compared to our first year.

Location in the village, bike path, everything for a successful vacation for young people

After 3 weeks in southernmost Italy, Rubicone was a culture shock. As I had spent two great vacation weeks there in my early 20s 20 years ago, we decided to just ask around and see if we could get a plot for 3 days. And - the joy was great, we got a plot in a great location. The site is beautiful, well-kept... and plays all the right tunes. Really nice sanitary facilities, a well-stocked supermarket, ATM, leisure facilities, free umbrellas on the beach. And then comes the big BUT. Young people playing their booming beatboxes all over the alleyway, or after dinner, playing them all over the campsite (and nobody stops them - it's only camping anyway...).), a shower that refuses to supply any water after setting the mixer to hot water (no joke, the water pressure is so low that when all the showers are running, the last person to turn on the water simply doesn't get any - hence the queues in front of the showers because it takes ages to shower), hidden camping chairs in the morning and an ashtray emptied on the table. The "parking meter" for the parasols - it should not be possible to leave the parasol for longer than an hour, so morning reservations with midday arrivals should also be prevented - is a good idea, but if it is not checked, you still have occupied parasols until midday where no one ever sits. The evening entertainment makes up for this - the Cesena Dancing Club still has great competition couples who put on show performances! And the location is great - you're right in the small seaside resort, where there are also some very good restaurants and bars. The cycle path is right outside the door - we cycled all the way to Cesenatico. It would be good to open the breakwaters even further so that the water near the beach doesn't tip over in high summer. We didn't notice the disco, we were far enough away.
