"Top campsite nice operators - Very nice campsite, nice operator couple, top location.... Campsite is located directly on the Moselle... Sanitary facilities very clean, modern and spacious. Free choice of pitches... Small bar with small snacks at super fair prices I haven't been to the Moselle for a long time, but now I've found a new favorite place... 👍👍👍👍

"What more do you need :-) - Beautifully situated campsite on a small peninsula directly on the Moselle. Friendly and helpful operators who know many of their long-standing guests by name. A tavern with a lovingly maintained outdoor terrace offers delicious snacks as well as good wines or a cold beer. The ladies' sanitary facilities have just been renovated, while the men will probably have to be patient for another season. Dishwashing, laundry washing and drying... Everything you need is available. Whether for hiking, cycling, water sports or simply relaxing, everyone will find what they are looking for here at moderate prices.

"Camping in its original form - The camping island is largely unparceled and you can choose your own pitch. Depending on whether you need an electricity connection or not, you can set yourself up completely freely. The site is only moderately occupied in September and this gives a very open and spacious feeling. Of course, the pitches on the banks of the Moselle are mostly occupied by permanent campers, with a few exceptions, but there are always a few free pitches. The roads to the left and right of the Moselle, the railroad line and the Moselle boats are barely audible within the island, but are clearly audible on the Moselle riverside and peripheral pitches. Although the toilets are a few years old, they are well maintained and clean as long as the previous user leaves them clean. The same applies to the washing facilities. The showers themselves seem to be more recent and are very spacious, about 2 x 1.5 meters. You don't get stuck on a damp wall every time you move, which is great. They cost 50 cents per use, but you still enjoy showering here. And as I said, the cleanliness depends to a large extent on the users themselves. The dishwashing and laundry room with washing machine, dryer and changing table is also nice. Here, too, cleaning is carried out regularly and thoroughly. There is a bread roll service at reception and in the restaurant. The bread rolls themselves are not handmade (square industrial products), but they are still delicious. The service is very friendly and courteous. Once we forgot to order breakfast rolls and the friendly lady at reception conjured up three. All in all, very good value for money and definitely worth a recommendation.

"What a pity - In terms of location, this could be one of the most beautiful places ever. Situated in the middle of the Moselle, very green. Unfortunately, it is not used to its full potential. Some of the pitches are uneven, and the paved areas on the pitches have everything from potholes to raised bricks. The reception was friendly, we were only asked to stay on one half of the pitch, where we were free to choose. A few of the numerous permanent campers were still partying in front of their awning at 1 a.m. - you can like that, but it's not my cup of tea. The showers were ok, but I thought the toilets were in urgent need of an overhaul. Open holes in the tiles are also not necessary. The access road is really a bit adventurous and I only have a tiny caravan. How to get onto the site with a large caravan without scratching...I wouldn't have made it.
