We were here right after the Whitsun weekend and there was very little going on. The site is very well-kept, unfortunately you only have access to the... lake with a chip, but thanks to the short distances this doesn't matter.
The restaurant and snack bar were also unfortunately closed, and the advertised bread roll service wasn't available either. It's a shame that the reception doesn't even offer anything, not even ice cream for the kids. The nearest shopping facilities are in Rathenow, which is about 3 km away.
If you can cater for yourself and appreciate absolute peace and quiet, this is the right place for you.Automaticky přeloženo.- Patricia H.July 2023PozitivaIf you love nature, this is the place for you, Fun for young and old. Playground for the little ones right on the square. Table tennis, playing soccer down on the square is also great. We adults can also drive a Kettcar and have a lot of fun. The volleyball net invites you to play in the evening sun. Super sanitary house, washing machines as well as a dryer is available. The klabautermann invites you to enjoy a delicious pizza. Large time meadow, great pitches for campers, and not to forget the great log cabins to rent if you don't necessarily want to spend the night in a tent. We love this site and have been visiting it regularly for 4 years. We have tried many campsites but we feel at home here, we want for nothing. Great connections, e.g. from Berlin, many shopping opportunities nearby which you can also reach easily by bus. We can also highly recommend a super tasty ice cream parlor not far from the site. And last but not least, super nice staff on the site who have advice for everything. We can highly recommend this campsite for relaxing quiet days, very child-friendly. With sufficiently large pitches, some with great lake views. With a playground and clean sanitary facilities. The beach is clean and equipped with hammocks and sun loungers for relaxing, you can order bread rolls in advance and showers cost €1 for 5 minutes. The operators were very friendly and helpful.NegativaThe only drawback is the snack bar where there are overpriced drinks and frozen pizzas, nothing else. No ice cream for the kids o fries o a sausage. Therefore one star deduction, as improvements could be made here.Quiet right on the lakeNice, quiet little campsite. Clean and reasonably modern sanitary facilities. Very well-known ice cream parlor nearby.NegativaCharging transponders for showers with money, annoying. Only one transponder per car (couple). That means a single trip to the sanitary building. The snack bar had scared off all the guests with "only ready-made pizza". Or had the guests stayed away first and therefore only "emergency food"?Actually a nice place right on the lake, but... nothing going onThe site is very easy to reach, no narrow access routes. Generous pitches, mostly fenced off with hedges. There is direct access to the beach below the snack terrace. The lady at the counter was very nice, the sanitary building is clean and modern. We were only there for the weekend. But: the place was... very empty, hardly any guests. Half of the toilet cubicles were locked and so were the showers. There were only 3 showers, but that was obviously enough. Well, that's okay so far. What bothered me was the transponder. With these you can get through the barrier and even as a pedestrian onto the pitch. Money is booked onto this transponder, which you need for the showers. So hold the transponder up to the reader outside the shower, dash into the cubicle and shower. If the 5 minutes are up and you haven't finished yet, get out and go back to the transponder reader and continue showering. Yes, and when one person is showering, the other person is not allowed to go to the toilet because: only one transponder per car and therefore no access to the building for the 2nd person. However, we were able to beg for a 3rd transponder for 5 people/2 cars, although the space was only about 20% full. I don't think that's up to date at all. Showering would also be possible with a time-controlled pressure tap if you wanted to save money. Just add the €2/day to the price and you're good. But that's just my opinion. What was also noticeable was that the snack bar really only had baked pizza on offer. One type of bottled beer, well that doesn't attract anyone away from the caravan. That's why it was empty, really empty. Why were there hardly any visitors here? The terrace at the snack bar has potential, as does the whole place...Automaticky přeloženo.

But we would love to come back. Most of the log cabins have a view of the lake and have everything your heart desires. TV in the spacious living and dining area, bathroom with shower and heating also for colder days, comfortable... beds in the bedroom and for children there is also a separate room with bunk beds. If you want to barbecue, please use an electric grill, as there is a forest floor with many pine trees.
For bathing enthusiasts there is a beautiful sandy beach with sun loungers and hammocks.
For the big or small appetite there is a great bistro in the shape of a ship with upper and lower deck. Here you can get delicious pizza, beer and wine etc. and in the morning you can always order fresh bread rolls.

Campsite is very cleanNegativaWe had booked 2 cabins next to each other. On the day of arrival we were told that this was not possible after all. The staff were not very flexible and gave us no explanation or excuse as to why we could not get the cabins we had booked. Funnily enough, the hut we had actually booked was empty for the entire time. That was a bit of a shame.Beautiful campsite, great locationThe campsite is very nice. We had booked two camping cabins right on the beach and were there with two families plus children. The cabins are clean and well equipped, the beds are comfortable and the location is great. The staff were sometimes a bit unfriendly and very inflexible. The "bistro" unfortunately... only offered a few types of baked pizza at overpriced prices but on arrival we were happy to get something to eat at the campsite.

The pitches are parceled out by plants, water, electricity and waste water are available... at the pitch. There is also a new / well-maintained and clean sanitary building.
The beach with sunbathing area, loungers and parasols is also highly recommended.

The first row has a direct view of the lake. The campsite has a small bay with a sandy beach. Shallow slope with bathing island, great for children. Many large rental bungalows, some directly on the lake. The sanitary facilities are modern,... spacious, handicapped accessible and clean. Unfortunately, the restaurant currently lacks a tenant, which we cannot understand, as everything is quite new and available. Operators and staff are super friendly and you are given a very warm welcome! A return with a longer stay is guaranteed. Price/performance is top.
