The reservation also went very well, the pitch was large and had all the connections (top). The staff are always friendly. The only thing we didn't quite like is that you have to buy a shower token from the machine.
Otherwise everything was clean.

On the Main, however, the wind was quite noticeable.Very nice, good location and friendly peopleWe discovered this campsite by chance and were really impressed. We were able to reserve 2 nights without having to book in advance (as we were there at the end of the season, at the beginning/mid-September) and it was very straightforward. The toilet facilities and showers are clean. There were enough... cabins and plenty of space. This is exactly how we imagined it.
We noticed that it was mainly senior citizens camping here, but that didn't bother us (a young couple). The main thing was that everyone was nice!

You don't necessarily need your own satellite antenna on the site, there are communal antennas everywhere that can be connected from the plug column...Toilet cassettes can be emptied cleanly and... odorlessly at modern emptying columns. The campsite is upmarket with its facilities, sanitary facilities are very spacious, modern and clean. Showers cost 1 euro for 5 minutes, but you get a rainforest shower. The pitch was big enough for our Fendt 445 caravan incl. awning, water and waste water connections were available.
The site also has a mooring for boats and a sandy beach.

The site is clearly laid out and is located directly on the Main River just outside the town near a sports facility. The comfort pitch RA 2 we booked is laid out with concrete slabs in the awning area. Basically positive, but now getting on in years.
Of the two sanitary... buildings, we used the building on stilts. It is very comfortable and the large showers and individual wash cubicles are particularly positive. As the pitch was always 100% full during our stay, a second cleaning service in the sanitary building would have been advisable. The pitch lighting is good at the back of the comfort pitches, but you need a flashlight at the front and on the way to the sanitary building unless the moon is shining. The staircase to the stilt sanitary building is illuminated from above by a spotlight. This creates shadows when walking down, which can be particularly irritating for spectacle wearers. Glare-free lighting would be desirable here.
We always received friendly and customer-oriented service at reception; the bread roll service was perfect. Overall, a recommendable place that we will visit again. The store has everything campers might need. Supermarkets are just a few minutes away by car. You can hike directly from the site into the vineyards or cycle along the Main. The site is in a very quiet location, with ducks, swans and boats swimming past on the Main. Lots of dogs, even off the lead.Beautiful vacationWe stayed at the campsite in October. It is in a great location. You can take a lovely walk through the vineyards. The town of Volkach is also only a few minutes' walk away. It's a very nice old town with lots of wine bars. We visited the town often. What bothered us at the campsite were the many dogs,... which were not on a lead and sometimes frightened us. The sanitary building is very nice and clean, but it is not at all suitable for someone with a fear of heights. Unfortunately, I always had to overcome myself to go up there. Only these washrooms were open at the time. But we really enjoyed this vacation. We can only recommend the campsite because of its great location.Automaticky přeloženo.

We always feel very comfortable. The service is nice and friendly (most of the time, everyone has a bad day), the sanitary facilities are first class and the place with its localities is simply wonderful. The only thing that... is unsatisfactory is that there is no separate pitch for tall camper vans and dogs. The pitches are large enough and have everything you need. The new sanitary building is great. Some people have criticized the fact that you need shower tokens. I didn't think that was a bad thing, you can shower in a relaxed manner and don't... have to constantly restart the water. It's a leisurely 15-minute walk to the center of Volkach. The town has a lot to offer, both culturally and gastronomically.
What we didn't like so much: The billing of the electricity is done on the spot. Once you have paid and the bill is printed out, the electricity is no longer available and you can no longer make coffee. On many pitches, electricity is included in the price. Second point: Wi-Fi is subject to a charge and limited to 500 MB/coupon (€1). This is no longer up to date. It's a 10-minute walk to the town with lots of nice places to eat. Ideal location for hikes. Brand new sanitary facilities, top modern and very clean. In the high season it can get a bit crowded at peak times, so a few more showers could definitely help. The same applies to the sinks.NegativaThe only downside we found was that showering costs extra - 50 cents for 5 minutes. We were here once before in October 2016, also on a comfort pitch. When I read the pitch prices now, my jaw dropped. In 2016, the pitch cost €9.50; now they charge €17.50 for the same pitch. A price increase of a whopping €8 in 5... years. The pitch offers no more than it did 5 years ago. I wonder about the justification for this price increase.
