- Marjolein C.August 2020PozitivaWe needed an overnight spot, adequate and fine sanitation.NegativaWe had booked by phone for a place for the caravan, about 4.5 m. Upon arrival, the older woman was already cranky. We had to, at her insistence, put the caravan literally almost on top of the pegs of the neighborhood tent. Because there had to be another caravan next to us.Ja das kann wohl, said the lady. I said no really stop, because you drive over the pegs. The woman was angry of course, I said that we were the paying customers. She went crazy. Boy, what a cold welcome. Okay. Then you have to fill out a form for the municipality. Fine. I then wrote that the reception was terrible and that we wanted to stay only 1 night instead of 2. In German, of course. Well the caravan is, we went hiking at a gorge and come back to the campsite around 17.00. It was raining in the meantime. The lady came to me to ask if we could leave immediately, because I had written something on the paper and it would also go to the municipality. She was soooo booooos. Boy, how it went. Fortunately, my husband was still able to arrange for us to stay 1 night by the grace of God. There aren't many campgrounds around there. I would have rather gone. What a human being. At night it rained very hard and the water stayed on that campsite, the stool was in 5 cm of water. Conclusion never again.Camping Bezau disgraceful treatment. Never again! We had booked by phone for a place for the caravan, about 4.5 m.

And wrs either the neighborhood tent or the tires of the campground were damaged if my husband kept driving backwards as she wanted. Dangerous.
At night it rained rock hard and the water stayed on that campsite, the stool was in 5cm of water.
Conclusion never again. Find another campsite.Automaticky přeloženo.Odpovězeno z Campingplatz Bezau August 18, 2020Thank you for your review.
Here are a few comments. You did not have to drive over pegs, nor did your neighbors complain because they knew that another caravan would be parked right next to them. We have high season and no parcelling.
After many years of working with Dutch people, I understand Dutch... very well and understood Mrs. Marjolein's insults from the very beginning and asked her to look for another campsite, the gentleman was very nice and remained friendly the whole time.
After the lady didn't enter her date of birth when filling out the form, I later asked her to fill it in, whereupon she wrote "NIX" and slammed the registration form in my face, so to speak, whereupon I once again suggested that she look for another campsite. We need the data for the official registration, the completed form remains at the campsite and we are entitled to demand a passport, which I refrained from doing.
As it has been raining, it is normal for the grass to get wet and the chairs outside to fill up with water.Automaticky přeloženo. - Steve E.June 2020PozitivaSuper enthusiastic and very friendly reception, beautifully maintained camper place, sanitary facilities are spotless, there is a drying room, dishwashing area, ... The family really does everything to make your stay pleasant. The Bregenzerwalderkarte is a very welcome gift from 3 nights. 15 minutes walk to the village. Easy and convenient public transportation.NegativaNo cons for us. We were looking for a quiet campground, WITHOUT entertainment from which to start our long walks and found it. Maybe the sound of the river can be audible to some. No problem for us.Family-run, small, friendly campgroundWhen we read the comments in our search for a campsite in Austria, we found them somewhat meager. Are you looking for peace and quiet, no animation, but a beautiful place to go into the mountains from there ? Then I would definitely contact the Albrecht Family.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Elisabeth B.May 2018Small, cozy campsite in the mountainsFriendly operators, helpful when positioning the caravan. Small cozy place for tents and caravans, mostly on meadow ground in the immediate vicinity of the sanitary facilities. Ideal for senior citizens, families, dogs and sports enthusiasts. Mountain railroads nearby, swimming pool next door. Gladly again!Automaticky přeloženo.
- Simone L.June 2015PozitivaBeautiful region. Bregenzerwaldcard from 3 nights - free cable car rides and free entry to the outdoor pool.NegativaNot a suitable place for small children due to road. Owner unfriendly. Waste disposal problematic. Not a place to feel comfortable. Not recommendedWe (2 adults, 2 children, 1 dog) were there during the Whitsun vacation. The area is really beautiful and there are lots of leisure activities. The campsite leaves a lot to be desired. I found the site so unfavorable because it was split in two by the road. So one part is opposite the sanitary facilities,... i.e. the road is in between. Somehow it was so torn up, and the cars directly below the campsite (along the Bregenzerach) don't exactly drive slowly, especially as this is also the access road to the industrial area behind it. Not recommended for younger children, you really have to be careful. In our opinion, the owner was very unfriendly and strange. We were not allowed to drive our car onto the lawn, we had to push the caravan to the pitch. Waste disposal was a disaster, everything was piled up behind the house, the bins were far too small. So we won't be back. Too bad for the area - but there are few alternatives for campers here, unfortunately!Automaticky přeloženo.
- Reto F.April 2015PozitivaThe campsite is located directly on the cycle path. The region offers a very good public transport infrastructure. Wifi in the lounge quite stable and good.NegativaPoor price / performance ratio. We were treated very unfriendly. When anticipation remains the greatest joy.Unfortunately, I cannot confirm the other reviews. In all the years that we/I have been traveling with the motorhome, we have never encountered such unfriendly and uncommunicative hosts. Even the low season cannot justify this 100%. In terms of cleanliness, you can't be too demanding either. The irony... of the story is that if you come across a place like this somewhere in the south, you'll be happy. A bit of competition from campsites would do the region good.Automaticky přeloženo.
- martin s.August 2011Quiet, unpretentious campsite situated on the Bregenzerach. Very suitable as a starting point for hikes in the Bregenzer Wald region.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Elke L.August 2011Very nice small campsite with a great starting point. Located directly on the Bregenzerach, bus stops nearby, swimming pool next door, Bezau can be reached on foot in 10 minutes. Ideal for beautiful hikes and also for dog owners. Sanitary facilities are clean and shower coins work well. Apart from the main road, it is very quiet on the site, but after 2 nights you get used to it.Automaticky přeloženo.
- Romy S.July 2010Very nicely located campsite right next to the swimming pool. Price-performance ratio = super. Also recommended for dog owners.Automaticky přeloženo.
