Great location, great place, great people
The site is a little out of the way. The historic buildings/parts, a pond, petting zoo and the lovely furnishings give the site a great atmosphere. The staff are really, really committed and super friendly. You rarely find that. There are lots of tent campers, camper vans up to 8 m long (larger will... be problematic) and caravans on the site itself. Dogs are not allowed. There is a swimming pool, a bar (sometimes with live music), a restaurant and a small shop. Most of the guests come from the Netherlands, Belgium, England and Germany. Very few French people. You need a car to go shopping. Not even possible by bike. The only drawback of the campsite: too few sanitary facilities for so many guests. The toilets are peed on by children (it's not the children's fault) and there aren't enough of them either side. The same applies to the beautifully and modernly designed showers and the washing-up area. Waiting times are inevitable here. We were there in the HS; it certainly looks better in the NS.

Great campsite for families
The campsite is in an incredibly idyllic location in a green valley, surrounded by fields and forests. The area is very hilly and only a small country road leads to the campsite. 90% of the guests are families with children and they have a lot of fun exploring the huge grounds. The bar in the chateau... is great and the restaurant and small store are also very nicely decorated and offer local specialties. The staff are incredibly friendly and obviously have a lot of fun themselves living in such a great place.

Beautiful and quiet location
We were only here for two nights when we were passing through. Very suitable for this. Beautiful, large pitches, some directly on the lakeshore (no bathing lake) and absolutely quiet. Good restaurant. Only moderately stocked small store. Good hiking and cycling opportunities.
